Amazing experience! Everyone, from the receptionist to the doctor, was so kind. The doctor clearly cares about the patient and doesn’t do unnecessary work like other places so often do. The hygienist Destiny was so kind and non judgmental. I’m so happy I finally booked with them!

First of all, I can never get anyone on the phone, and when they finally get on the phone they dont seem to care. As a nurse, I am always going above and beyond for my patients and making sure that they have everything they need. I went in for an adjustment and they made a huge mess all over the dentures and told me that I would need to clean it. When I tried to schedule the appointment for my actual dentures I was told I had to wait another month, then they finally scheduled me, then sent me an email saying they needed to reschedule me and left a voicemail, YET when I tried to return the phone call NO ONE ANSWERED the phone!!!! WORSE DENTAL CARE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!!!!!

This place sucks! They pulled my tooth that was abcessed and told me to to go through my second prescription of antibiotics and no pain help what so ever. In fact they have caused me to hurt more.They were very rude!She told me if I was uncomfortable to raise my hand. I did and she continued to pull and yank

Total waste of time would recommend any other dentist than this one. Spent a whole day trying get tooth pulled and after X-rays and sitting for hours they wanted to schedule tooth extraction and cleaning. If you really need help with tooth ache look elsewhere.

The receptionist was very rude from the time I walked in to the time I left. Bad attitude, snide comments and rude opinions that had no bearing on my visit. The whole experience wouldve been 1 star had it not been for the dentist, Darwin. He was clean, very informative and very professional. He had me in and out from an extraction in about 10 minutes. Katie, the hygienist was also very friendly and professional. Id give it 5 stars if you can make it past the rude receptionist.

Scam/Sham & NO... please dont waste your PR money on responding. I would rather pay money to my DOGS vet to clean my teeth!! I said what I said!! They wanted me to pay over $400 half of my bill before I could even schedule a cleaning appointment. With a little shopping around I found dental insurance for$360 a year. That pays for a free cleaning. #pitiful #scam

I am a little late in posting this review. But, felt it was important because people so easily post negative vs positive. Dr. Walker and his staff went above and beyond to meet my dental needs. I previously worked as a dental assistant while I was paying my way through college. So, I know a bit more than the average patient. I have to say that Dr Walker is far above average in his skill and chair-side manner. I had to have an extraction of #18. I never felt the injections. And the actual extraction was done with speed and ease. I hardly had any bleeding. I have assisted on many ,so I was prepared for the stress and pressure that one typically feels. Experience none of that with Dr. Walker. A couple weeks later, I lost a significant portion of an old amalgam filling on#32. Yet, another difficult tooth position. Dr Walker was aware that I did not want to extract the tooth. But, could not afford a crown at that particular time. Therefore, Dr. Walker spent extra time diligently repairing the tooth so that I wouldnt lose it. As previously stated, its been about a year and 3 month and the tooth is still holding steady. Dr Walker is a brilliant Dentist with a kind heart. A combination not often found. Not to mention he makes you feel comfortable. As if youve been friends for years. In sum, Hes as good as it gets. Aspen Dental and the Florence/Athens AL area are fortunate to have Dr Walker. If he moves, I will travel to receive his care. He took the time to earn my trust and respect.

Writing on the behalf of my daughter! She went in what ended up as a infection from a broken tooth. The dentist took exrays come back & told her meanly he wasnt going to pull it or give her any meds of any kind! Gave her no explanation. The staff apologized & called his boss over him to say what was happening & he apologized said if he had saw her he would give her meds, but cause he didnt he couldnt. Staff said he wouldnt talk to his boss & its not the first time hes done that. Staff said they were going to send her to a diff

I enjoyed my experience here very much. All the staff I encountered were very nice and super helpful. In fact Ms. Norma had been with me my entire visit and made it such a good experience. She was super sweet and helped me any questions I had !

The dental hygienist took her time,was patient when I asked questions and was attentive to what I told her about my teeth. She was gentle with me because she knew my gums were sensitive.

First time there. Everyone very nice. Only problem I had was with receptionist. She talked as fast as an auctioneer, and with a mask muffling her words, and with me being old...... not a good combination. Went there for a chipped tooth, but first visit gets free xrays and exam. As an experienced radiology tech, I must say these were the most comprehensive xrays that I have ever had done in my teeth. The hygienist came in and explained, tooth by tooth, where I had a gum problem, and if it appeared old or new. The dentist listened and discussed my thoughts with me, not just telling me we need to do this and this. Very nice visit. Very pleased.

Dr. Walker and his staff are the greatest. How to improve in this, you cannot. The facility was very nice and clean and you can tell as soon as you walk in the door , that this is going to be a great experience. Very disappointed with Aspen dental. Received my first tray of Invisalign. And they told me Doctor Walker is no longer working at the Florence location and I will have to travel to Athen for future appointments. They clearly do not value my time. As I already travel an 1 hour to get to Aspen Dental in Florence, now I will have to 2 hours each way for each visit to Doctor Walker

We were not pleased at all with our experience at Aspen Dental. Xrays seemed excessive and were painful from the apparatus we had to hold in mouth repeatedly. Cleaning procedure was fine. However, what was supposed to be free through our Bc/Bs insurance plan cost us $150 each. Our insurance plan will pay for X-rays and cleaning twice a year. BUT the way it was billed and coded, our insurance could not cover it. Therefore, we were out $150 each for what would have been free anywhere else. We were very disappointed with our experience and will not go back to them.

Nice and friendly I felt right at home I almost didnt want to leave.

I told them when I made the appointment I had a tooth that I really needed out and that would be the last chance due to work I could go for weeks. She assured me they would take care of the pain the day of my appointment. I spent two hours with them making it hurt worse only to be told that it was an exposed nerve and needed to come out. Only there was no one in the office to remove it. So now I have to suffer for weeks before I can get it removed and I can guarantee it wont be them that does it.

I cant say Ive had any bad experiences there. Everyone seems to be friendly and nice. Theres only been one person I didnt care for, but shes not there anymore. Thank you. Norma is my favorite. Shes a sweetheart.

My dental hygienist, Norma, keeps me coming back to Aspen Dental. She is great at her job! Very thorough and an absolute sweetheart. They are lucky to have her.

People were very nice. But this place is very expensive. But i would have been willing to pay it to get my mouth fixed. They claimed to have several financing options to chose from. However if you dont have really good credit you cant get the help promised. I would have been more than willing to pay the payments for help. Becsuse Chemo and radiation ruined my teeth and they are to the point of me being hospitalized 3 times this year already dye to severe infection in my blood from them. And the so called caring and compassionate people do not care if you cant get the money up front. They could care less about you as a person. I am 54 and my got ruined in a divorce. What credit I had left git ruined when I had to quit work to take care of my husband who had stage 4 lung cancer and passed away 7 months later. I have devoted most of my life taking care of others. I raised my brother and sister, cared for my mother who had ovarian cancer, and my husband with lung cancer. I survived cancer after a long hard fight . And when I need help no one will help. Aspen dental gave me the name if a insurance company to buy dental insurance. Then I still have to come up with thousands. They only want the money. They will not work with you and will not help you. And I desperately needed the help. No money no help! And I would gave gladly paid the outrageous amount in payments and been very grateful to them.

Stay away from here. They say they take children but they dont, the lie on there web site and bring you in to just charge insurance and send you on your way. My child is still in pain after they said they cant help him

The staff were polite and pleasent. Dental assistant Amber acted very professional and helpful as did Dr. Ringrose. Due to my finical situation and a prior dental work anomaly with another Dentist, I have not used Aspen Dental. This visit was a prework-up, with x-rays and consultation. I was very nervous going in for my appointment but as soon as I walked in the building that all melted away. The staff was amazing. They were very welcoming and inviting. X-ray tech was very kind and made me feel very comfortable even though I was in pain. No long waits or beating around the bush. Dr was straight forward as well as the hygienist. Treatment plan was explained to me in terms everyone can understand and there was no extra added to create more revenue. Aspen dental has won my business and I urge everyone that is having trouble or doesnt at least walk in and meet the staff. Its free for your first consultation and x-rays. You have nothing to lose but a wonderful smile to gain. Aspen dental is where it is at.

My mom has had the same cap put on 6!! Times in less than three months. She eats nothing but liquid room temperature for two days, then soft foods for two days. It still comes off while eating mashed potatoes, bread, and other soft foods. They are very nice in the office but don’t get caps put on there. It is either not molded right, or they are not doing it right.

I had a great experience the receptionist was nice. The took a lot of x-rays with a very uncomfortable tool I could not even began to tell you what they call it, but the young lady did very well with taking the x-rays and making me feel welcomed. The dentist was amazing and she had a really great sense of humor!! Everything seem to go very timely and maybe it is something I am not aware of but I waited 30 minutes after the dentist left for the office manager to go over finances. No offense she really had no emotion or sympathy. I would not refer her to anyone, but maybe she was going through something so I do not know.

Was a horrible scam!! I moved to a new town and picked these guys. Folks were nice till i hit the hygienist. She did not even use a probe to record picket depths, she eye balled it, consequently coming up with ridiculous numbers. I see a dentist every 6 months, i know the health of my gums and teeth.She told me a need a deep clean, and prescription mouth wash etc.I had a filling going bad and i wanted that fixed.They first send me to pay, fair enough, oh and that cleaning and 1 filling would be 550 bucks, and you are too far gone for a normal cleaning, and we will not fix that filling unless you pay for the deep cleaning.At that time i requested my xrays and left, i recognize a hustle when i see one, STAY AWAY

I was hopeful that Aspen Dental would workout for me judging by the fact that I travel for work often and it would be convenient with the various locations. I am sad to say that my experience with Aspen has been extremely unsatisfactory. Not only has it been very pricey, I have been given multiple excuses as to why they cannot give me the filling I need. I have been to Aspen a total of five times and have been schedule for yet ANOTHER cleaning rather than the filling they have promised to give me at my next appointment. I understand the process of dental procedures, but I have never been to a dentist that has promised me to get my issues fixed during my next appointment only to keep pushing it back further and further with every visit. I have requested a refund for the payment I have already given for the filling I have not received. I was told I would have the money put back on my card over a week ago and it still has not happened. I have tried to call multiple times. I am either put on hold or hung up on before ever speaking to anyone. This is by far the worst experience I have had with any professional practice. I will be finding a local dentist without a doubt.

They was really nice. The nurses that they have on staff is the best nurses I have ever dealt with. They are very friendly and they do everything they can to help you out. Aspen Dental in Florence,AL has been a Godsend! I experienced horrendous wisdom teeth pain and had put off having them removed because I have no dental insurance and an extreme anxiety toward needles going into my mouth. The pain got so bad that I ended up in the ER, which resulted in my having no choice but to get them out. I called Aspen Dental and they were so kind and helpful! They allowed me to set up an easy finance plan. They got me an appointment quickly. I had the x rays to be examined and the technician was so helpful by talking to me to make the long process of taking so many pictures go by super fast. I had an initial cleaning with a Mrs. Norma, whose vibrant smile and personality made me feel welcome and calmed my nerves tremendously. During the cleaning they discovered I had gingivitis and they gave me a full treatment. They helped me get an Oral B toothbrush with Bluetooth capabilities and different modes for brushing and cleaning my teeth on my own. Mrs. Norma took time to give me tips on how to floss better so that I can prevent getting gingivitis again. When it came time to have my surgery, Dr. Perry helped my nerves by telling me what he was doing, when he was doing and why. Dr. Perry took time and didnt rush the process. The dental assistant that day was Mrs. Kourtney. Ill never forget how she kept me calm by reassuring me that I would be fine. She said being nervous was ok and normal. She kept telling me I was doing great. I dont think she knows how much I needed that. She kept my mouth suctioned, which I really liked because I have a tendency to have a gag reflex and that prevented it. Dr. Perry earned my trust and respect especially when he made the decision to divide my surgery in half. He did the left side, then had me wait two weeks for the other because he was concerned about my being able to eat comfortably. When he did the right side, he was assisted by a trainee who was kind also and attentive to my needs. If she continues to do as she did, she will be great! Overall, they really are a great place to go for dental needs. Even though I didnt need to use him, it also felt good knowing they have an oral surgeon with their office too. They will now be my go to for dental work! Thank you Aspen Dental!

The staff here made this experience a great one. I went to an Aspen Dental in another state and it went horribly. Regina and Norma were so nice and kind I’m so glad I decided to give it another shot. I think I spoke with the dentist for maybe 10 seconds and he went on about his business. Regina and Norma didn’t make me feel rushed even though it was already passed closing time. I wish I remembered the woman’s name at the front desk because she was amazing as well. Very great experience.

Free is NOT free.. My free first exam was billed to my insurance for over $175.00 leaving my bill to be $50.00 While the idea is great in my case i was told they would not help with my needs unless I paid over $10,000. I would recommend finding a local dentist!

All contact with Aspen Dental has been professional and courteous.I receive reminders about appointments via text and phone. If i have any questions or concerns, they are available. The oral surgeon was great. Nice and caring, checking up on me after surgery. I would recommend Aspen Dental.

Friendly staff and clean establishment as well. Had an issue on the day of my 1st visit due to a gas leak the building was evacuated. However they asked if I could come back at my earliest convenience and I could be worked in. I did just that and was worked right in as soon as possible as well as my daughter for a hygiene exam and cleaning. The reason I only have the 3 stars is the prices for service is higher than expected. I was under the impression it was a more affordable dental office by advertisement but it was not. Was actually a little higher than other places in the same area.

Usually we see another dentist, but Aspen is the only place around here open past 5. To start, the staff are not friendly. We came to have my husbands tooth pulled, but Dr. Walker had him come back another day (next available appointment was a week later, so he had to suffer for.a week) because he didnt want to stay a little late. As if it were our fault they fell behind and we didnt get called back until well after his scheduled appointment. Our appointment was at 5:45, and we didnt get called back until almost 7. l So we had to make two trips, and they were supposedly short staffed both times. If you are looking for a friendly, time conscious dentist, try Dr. Chastain in Killen.

The office atmosphere, Dentist, and assistants were all very good - 5 star; but the wait time was a bit long - over an hour due to absent personnel, I was told. I must say in all fairness, though, this was a make up appointment due to my own tardiness earlier in the day. I would recommend their services though stipulate - arrive on time.

My experience at Aspen has always been wonderful. The teams that worked with me were professional in every aspect of the requirements of the business, and in showing courtesy to those who need the service.In my experience meeting people from the community in the waiting room is special. We communicate with each other as if we were family/friend no matter the color of skin, culture, or background.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I went here because my regular dentist didnt have an opening, and I was having an emergency. After extensive ex rays and an evaluation from the hygienist and the doctor, I was then taken to where we could talk over my care plan. They discussed many things I needed done. I told them I had really needed work on my tooth immediately. They checked to see if he had an opening, and he did, an hour later thank goodness. Its a different experience than your traditional dentist, however, I have no complaints on the work they did with my filling.

Called to reschedule my appointment for Saturday and then they have nothing available for a while. Will not use them ever and suggest that you dont either.

They stopped taking my insurance about 2 weeks ago and never let anyone know there was a cap and I used 20 dollars in gas and missed work to drive up there only to find out they wouldnt help me and it was even an emergency. Then while I was waiting on the financial woman the nurse I had was very rude to me and said are we doing anything or not and I was waiting to be told what to do. I am very upset and will be filing a claim against them for all of the rudeness and nonsense that could have been avoided if they would have let all insurance know that there was a cap. My insurance even filed a emergency out of network form and they still would not help me I am beyond upset.

The staff and dentist ( Dr. Jerry ) were great. I am scared to death of dentist. I had one in jasper,al at 1 day dental that pulled all my top teeth without them being completely numb. DrJerry explained what he was doing before he done it. Most of all he made sure I was completely numb before proceeding to extract my teeth. Took extra shot but I didnt feel anything when he pulled them. Id highly recommend Aspen Dental in Florence, Al. Thanks Dr. Jerry and all your Staff

The front office is not knowledgeable. She overpriced me on procedures that are covered by my dental plan. Please do not take any children here. The Dentist is very nice but he will only take and examine the X-ray. Any dental work will be referred out! Also, they have the craziest policy......a customer has to get X-rays and then come back another day for a cleaning! Who has time for this??!? Any hoot, I played along since they already filed my insurance and I made another appointment.(months later) I was scheduled at 1030am, I showed up ap 10:10....I sat there until11:25 until I finally left. Total waste of time. I would give them a negative 4 if I could. I will say this, the dentist is nice and very professional but he needs to drop the Aspen brand and go into business for himself.

NOT GOOD. I called for a cleaning for my teeth and a general checkup. After 3 hours I was told that they would not be able to clean my teeth (the main reason that I had scheduled the appointment) and that my teeth needed approximately $5000 of work. When I asked how much the cleaning would cost they said $350 plus--way more than I have paid for cleanings in the past. Consider this: If I took my vehicle to a mechanics shop to get an oil change (teeth cleaning) but they spent 3 hours evaluating everything else wrong with my car telling me that it would cost $7000 to fix the other items in my car and that they could not do the oil change during this visit--the main reason that I had come to their shop--unless I scheduled another appointment and that it would cost $600 to do the oil change--WAY MORE THAN THE GOING RATE-----------WOULD YOU USE THEM AGAIN? I think not.This was absolutely the worse dental experience I have ever had in 60+ years. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLINIC TO ANYONE!

Wasnt happy with the prices way to expensive and the receptionist that went over everything with me and the cost wasnt friendly at all she was very rude so i will not be back. Other staff was very friendly !

Scheduled an appt showed up just to be told they couldntcsee me for 4 to 6 weeks after the fact I was told to be the r at 8 clock took off work etc

They were really nice and professional. I understood everything they told me and I was very impressed with their knowledge and kindness.

It was a terrible experience. Then I had to go back five times before I finally found another Aspen dental clinic in tupelo and they were great. Got it fixed first time. And then I found out that they charged me $500 more than I agreed to. I will never go back to that place again.

I had an excellent experience at the clinic in Florence, AL..Dr Morris and his staff were very professional in their work and explaining all the dental care that I was getting performed. The Dr and staff were very easy to talk with and we had a few laughs in our conversations. I would recommend them to anyone that was in need of dental care.Eric J Dossey
