Miss Denise is wonderful with children of all ages and all walks of life As a foster parent, I take children into my home and heart that come from many different situations. Often times the children just need someone other than a parental figure to talk to and Miss Denise is perfect for that. Miss Denise can deal with the bigger problems as well. She has helped my foster children deal with some very difficult emotions and behaviors that were a direct result of the lives prior to coming into my home. The children actually look forward to their visit with her. I have had children from the ages of 2-9 work with Miss Denise. They all love her and come out with a smile on their face when done with their session AKA fun time. I too, look to Miss Denise for help at times. Sometimes I get very overwhelmed with expectations from the children and even from myself. She has answered many an after-hours call to help me get myself together or reccomend a suggestion on how to deal with a problem at hand. I feel very blessed to have found a counselor with a gentle heart and the necessary skills to help our forever growing family.
