I had the pleasure of trying this nail salon out and thank goodness I did! They are clean and customer service was excellent as well. I had the pleasure of having Kyle to do my nails. He was so gentle, took his time, and did a great job. Im happy with nails and experience. I will be back! 🤩

My new favorite nail salon for sure! I got a smoothing pedicure with gel polish and a gel full set. Way cheaper here than anywhere else I’ve gone and they looked amazing. TK did great and it looked exactly like the picture I showed him. The whole staff is very polite and helpful as soon as you walk in.

EXTREMELY KIND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY!I was greeted by each and every guest. I notice how neat and clean every single station was and how every single employee was well mannered. I requested and full set and toe nail polish change and the service was superb. No rushing and no hesitation. They worked very well together and the flow was perfect. I really hate having to leave bad reviews about people’s business. I will say that the place is clean and has a calm vibe. But their customer service is not great when clearly they are at fault. I got my nails done on Thrus 3/11/21 . Gel polish is suppose to last two to three weeks this is a fact. Any peeling and chipping before this is totally unacceptable. My nails were chipping all during my vacation. Once back from vacation. Tried to get them redone on Sat 3/20/21 but they were booked full . Set up an appt for Sun 3/21/21 and went back today only to have Lady tell me it was because we do a lot with our hands. Meanwhile I’m 7 months pregnant and was on vacation. So there goes that theory . I explained on the phone to guy that I wanted them redone. Get all the way to the salon only to have them try to charge me $30 to fix there mistake. She went as low as $15 but I refuse to spend another dollar at that business . Mind you I already paid $45 last week to have them done. On this same day older lady messed up my nails and someone else had to fix. Overall I will not be returning here and I can not recommend a business that does not stand behind their service . I got my feet done in regular polish and they are lasting better . Which is ridiculous. With the prices they charge they should be able to accommodate a repaint when service is bad .Go some place else if you can help it . You will be disappointed with Gel Polish services.****** Update******** Manager reached out to me via phone. He apologized for the service and unfortunate situation. He offered a free Gel Manicure as rectification.

Could have stayed home and did my own feet for $80. The guy could not focus on what he was doing, did very little to my feet.

I gave a 2 because I had appointment at 6pm and then had to wait for 30 mins before someone got to me and that was fine. The lady who did my brows were so rough and my brows are burning and stinging after I told her they were. My brows had never looked so bad from there. My daughter had her nails done from here and it looked liked a 6 year done them. Last time I’ll be going there.

I was hesitant to go here at first. Didn’t know they had new owners/management. This was my first time going here since the change. The renovations look very nice. It was very clean and I love the fact that hands must be washed before they start your service. Everyone was nice and friendly. The services provided was very professional and sanitary. Mrs Kim did my pedicure. It was awesome other than my water kept getting cold. She added warm water twice as requested during the pedicure. Vee did my nails and I love them. Please don’t change anything! This was my first but will not be my last time. I will definitely be back!

It was an amazing experience, I brought a picture in that I found online and my nail tech did a fantastic job in making the picture a reality for me. Today was my first time going there 1/29/21 and I must say it was a good experience. To those who may be scared about covid, this establishment takes it seriously. They literally take your temp at the door, make u sign a waiver, check in and they make u wash your hands before any service. The ladies who served me today did a great job. VEE DID AWESOME ON MY HANDS AND EYELASHES AND the lady who did my feet was wonderful. They are so professional, so nice and polite and I would definitely recommend them and would definitely go back

In all my years of getting my nails and toes done I’ve never been so disappointed in my life this place was so overpriced I know all of the prices have gone up a little bit but they’re all basically the same until I got to this place I get the same thing every time gel polish some designs nails and toes done and it’s always about 111.0 I go to this place and my ticket is 152.00. A friend of mine came with me got her toes then I got the gel polish Pay $50 for and literally three days later her nail and toe polish is chipping off this is really unacceptable and honestly at this point I don’t even want to like get it redone I would like for both of us to get our money back if possible

I was a walk in they took me right on back. It was a very clean and nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly. They are following the guidelines to ensure there clients and themselves are protected against the coronavirus. I really enjoyed my visit. I look forward to going back. I would recommend this place.

I moved to a nearby town in which there was only two salons with maybe five people total working. I absolutely love Modern Nails and will not go anywhere else! There’s maybe close to fifty salons in Florence if not more, but for me? It’s Modern each and every time!

It was ok. Didnt approve of the man who did my nails. H I d to take them off and had the woman owner do them. They turned out really good then.

Its a little dark for my personal liking since they use a lot of yellow and natural light but Its beautiful. Its in a prime location and an easy drive. They serve adult drinks for a nice girls day out and the staff are typically really sweet and attentive. You can definitely tell the owners have invested in this and its their baby.The visits:I have been here before and I do enjoy the time I spend with my girlfriends. I mainly do my manicure myself so it has been a while since my last visit. ****

Whoa. That was the fastest, and also most precise manicure I think I have ever gotten. Talk about efficient. Ask for vi....shes amazing. Even asking for almond shaped (which typically takes more time to file) it was still super fast.The ambiance is trendy, clean, and bright. Visiting family in Florence and decided to go get my nails done.Read reviews so I decided to try Modern Nails & Spa, and it was pretty close to my location. I was very pleased with my decision! The staff was friendly - I got right in on a Friday night as a walk in. My grandmother came with and they were happy to pull a chair up to the station I was working at so we could visit. They verified colors with me as they were done to make sure I liked them. They were careful and took their time and didnt rush you out like plenty of other places Ive been to. They even send you home with the nail files so you know its all clean!Id absolutely be back if I need my nails done any time Im in town. Great service, great staff.

I called ahead to make sure they did ombre, and to make sure a female was available to do my daughters manicure. Upon arrival i was excited. It looked clean. People were welcoming. They showed us where the dip colors where as well as the regular polish. We both picked out colors as a gentleman came over to get my daughter. I informed him she wanted a female. He tried to get her to let him. She said no. Then another gentleman tried offering her flowers on her nails if she would let him. I again said I called to make sure she was with a female so could we please get a female. The one gentleman said the colors I picked wouldnt blend for ombre so had me pick different shades which made no sense. I picked black and purple. Both times just different shades as he picked the second shades.. The lady who did my daughters nails was great and very sweet. The man who did my nails is very heavy handed with the dremel. Did not respond when I would ask a question and did not ombre my nails. He got someone else who told me they were ombre and they do them different then other places. She offered to redo my nails in a single color which I declined as it was already 1.5 hrs in and my daughter was only going to sit so long.. they do ombre by doing all over single color finishing that and then in the gel top coat they dip the tip onto the other color.. so of course you cant see. The picture below shows the ombre after the lady came over to see if she could add another coat of black to make me happy which she did do but still not what I asked for.

This is a great little treasure The owner and staff are so friendly, and extremely professional. I cant say enough about the cleanliness of the salon, as well as the tools they use they are so clean and hygienically aware, which is one of the first things I look for in a nail salon. The staff is patient, and efficient. Best manicure and pedicure!Their foot massages are amazing, some of the best Ive had. It took me awhile to find them as I was trying all the salons in the area and was not satisfied. I have been going to Modern nails for the past year and really love them. They do an amazing job, and really care about their work. I have been able to always request certain staff if I want, when I call for my appointment. The staff are extremely friendly. Really love them. They have waxing services as well.

I went to Modern Nails & Spa last Wednesday for the first time. At first I had a pedicure and I was so much impressed she is very meticulous and professional she is amazing. I am always very meticulous when it comes to my nails but with her I did not say a word she rocks! Then I had a manicure with another technician and it was good too. They have a wide variety of nail polish colors. I am definitely going there again.

Came here to get a gel manicure. Friendly service. Owner was so nice. My tech did a great job. And most importantly clean! When I walked in for my gel appointment, I felt comfortable enough to give the pedicure here a try. So glad I did. Everything came out flawless.

I have friend who went here and wanted yellow polish on her toes. The guy who did her pedicure told her that she should get a darker color because of her skin tone. That is colorism above all means. If a customer comes in telling you what they want, then you should give them what they want. No opinion should be given unless it is asked for. We won’t be coming back here no more.

THE best place to get your nails done in SC. I dont get my nails done often, but when I do I go to Modern Nails. They ALWAYS do a job well done, all sweetest person ever. The minute you step through the door, you are greeted with a warm welcome. Everyone there is so genuine and passionate about what they do. She made me feel very comfortable, made great conversation and informed me that if anything happened to my nails within a week of getting them that they will fix it free of charge. I will definitely be coming back!*I would recommend scheduling an appointment because they are in demand and can get quite busy. Or go in the morning during the weekday. Even if you have to wait a bit, the quality of their service & your nails is worth it.

I went in as a walk in and was helped pretty fast & didnt have to wait long at all! I got a basic pedicure. i wish i could have gotten the girls name who did mine she was very nice! the only complaint i have is when the lady had me sit down to dry my nails, she completely disappeared and never came back. being the first time for me to get a pedicure i didnt know you could get up at anytime so i was just sitting there for a while & nobody said anything to me they just kept looking at me.. but other than that 10/10 I will be going back!💗💗

Worst experience EVER.... After they demanded payment before finishing... The tech Anthony, did my nails and continued to hit the Polish with HIS fingers. Finally he said Ill redo it over. Well he didnt! Instead... He painted over the nail polish mistake adding more polish to the already messed up nails. So after staying under the dryer for the requested 15 min. I grabbed my purse and shoes and looked at my hands... Smudge everywhere. No consideration to redo bail... Just add more polish to the already messed up nail. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Paid 165 to get me and my 5 years old daughter nails and feet done on 6/15/20 by the 20th two of her “gel polish” nails just literally lift up. My first day off I went back and they were closed on my next day off after that (25th) I called and explained to them what happen. They pulled me up by my phone number and called back and asked could I come back at 545. While there the nail tech RUBBED one nail polish off and lifted another one off. Then she did not want to do her whole hand over only the ones that came off and said if they come off again before 2 weeks just come back and she will do them free instead of doing all of my baby nails over right then I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SPENDING ANY MONEY WITH THEM IF TOU HAVE MORE OPTIONS‼️

I got my nails done again this morning, and as usual, Im thrilled with the results. Im officially addicted to manicures, and its all because ofI wrote a review months ago about how much I loved the sns French tips. Ive branched out into all kinds of cool colors because I happily volunteer to be Owners guinea pig, and she works magic!! I figure that until I get a job somewhere, no one is going to care if I have glittery purple, green, pink or blue nails. If they do, Im doing a no call/no show. I had a pedicure here about two weeks ago that was so relaxing that I fell asleep and almost rolled out of my chair! That would be an awesome way to get a concussion, right???!! From being too relaxed??! Ive never had a bad experience here, and am convinced that anyone who does is a complete lunatic who has nothing but time to make accounts just to complain. This is an awesome team in a great location, with prices that will blow your mind for the level of skills and services being offered. This crew knows their business. You wont be disappointed. I was in Florence for business and needed a mani pedi. Reviews were great on this nails salon so I gave it a try.There was no wait, plenty of technicians, friendly staff and super clean. They use liners in the pedi bowl, sterilize all the tools in bags for each use and even the bathroom was spotless.The staff was so personable and sweet. My nails are exactly what I asked for and the price was reasonable for what I got!The area was clean and my experience was WONDERFUL over all. I will be coming back. Highly recommend!Will definitely return when in Florence needing my nails done.

Came here on a Sunday with no appointment and was helped immediately AWESOME! They have tons of stations and I love the stone bowls you put ur feet in. Also they put rocks in between ur toes instead of the foam dividers super cute.

Terrible work. Had a pedicure and she did not exfoliate the whole foot. Wanted a full in for nails and the guy took my new set of tips off and did overlays on my own short nails and would not put new tips on. Did not round them off like I asked and then charged me 45.00 for a full set of nails that I didn’t get. He Didn’t care when I said that I didn’t like that my nails were so short. Never ever again will I give them my hard earned money.
