Sometime when we talk we have to be careful, because people assume you have it going on. But I believe God and when ur being misused, I just give it to God, for He havent failed me yet. Place is very clean but very disappointed in my braids she charged me $190 for something I was dissatisfied with I asked for middle part with my braids but from the looks of my hair I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there loose ends frizzy braids😡I normally go to Linda’s or Mary’s African Braiding but decided to trust Mae’s after hours of getting my hair done it looked like it was done three months ago husband kids and I very disappointed don’t waste your time or your money

I have been a loyal customer of hers for at least three years and have had little to no problem with her. She always treats me and my wife who is also a customer with the utmost respect and professionalism. One thing that has to be remembered about her is that she is African and sometimes will stay busy with her family in Africa.

Even tho she didnt do what I wanted I still was willing to wear the style but the burning pain I cant bare its been almost a week the braids dont even look tight yet my scalp burning still 😳🥺 never again!!!163.50 wasted

Ms. Mae was a very nice and respectful person overall and I like her attitude you don’t get that from most Africans. First, she told me to be there at 7 she was LATE. But these feedins in my hair is UGLY!! VERY ugly I can tell that she didn’t even braid my hair into the weave she just started everything with the braiding hair. Normally I go to Queen Nikki and my braids would be loose right now and not so tight. I had my hair done since Saturday and my scalp is screaming for help it’s hurting so bad I’ve been taking tyneol all weekend. Not only that but she charged me $50 for three big feedins and two small in between which was entirely too much especially the way it looks and feel. Never again will I go here!

PLEASE dont go there! I hate my hair went there on 4th of July for braids and I ask for the Bob look an I got regular braids and the hair look cheap,and my boyfriend wanted his dreads touched up and it looked a mess he put on his hat I hope she enjoyed that 270 dollars because she want get anymore of my money ,she shouldnt be in busy

Braids were uneven and unprofessional, edges were pulled. didn’t add any gel what so ever had to tell her to take it out and got a refund.

Very unprofessional i got a sew in and it look awful in 2 days she dont care about how good her work look shes all about the money and i think she should close down she told me to come back so she. Could fix the front cause it was already coming out and the b.... Wasnt there it was a waste of my 100 dollars i dont recommend this shop to anyone then her shop had a awful smell maes u need to do better u will no longer get my service anymore and i rate u poorly!!

Went in for dreads came out with twist the first time i went she said my hair was to straight couldnt be dreaded right then, paid 60 for that. The second time i went in she just interlock the root and twisted the rest paid 60 for that and they look horrible. So now im going to someone else and they did exactly what i wanted morle of the story dont go here if you trying to get locks cause you will not get them. And not to mention the service child running all over the shop she always stop working on your hair to attend to him. Toys are every where on the floor. Just a bad experience.
