Very helpful in our time of need. My grandfather passed unexpectedly and my grandmother suddenly needed 24/7 care. I was in another state, so our options were limited. Charlotte and Visiting Angels were helpful and we are SO VERY THANKFUL for their assistance. Within a week, they were able to provide 24/7 care for my grandmother - including things like taking her to get food, personal care, etc. Friendly and a genuine focus on companionship and care.

I would recommend Visiting Angels to anyone who needs assistance with their elderly loved ones. My mothers caregiver would go above and beyond to help in anyway that she could. She was skilled not only as a caregiver but as a companion. Management set us up with our caregiver and there could have not been a better match for my mother. I was able to leave the home and take care of everyday tasks without having to worry about the care of my mother!

I used Visiting Angels for a short time for my grandfather. They came in and along with hospice, made the end of life transition comfortable for him. I could never give them enough credit for this. Highly recommend.

Visiting Angels has been nothing short of amazing! The owners are wonderful. I had the opportunity to meet both Amy & Jeremy. Amy runs the Florence office while her husband operates Huntsville. They both really take the time to match the client with the best caregiver to not only meet their needs but personality too. Amy strives to make sure her employees can reach her anytime day/night, holidays, weekends etc. Everyone is very helpful & easy to work with. Taking time off is never an issue. Everyone works together to ensure coverage is met. I had an unexpected hospital admission at 3 in the morning & calling in to find coverage at that hour wasnt an issue. I was hospitalized for nearly a week. Amy was so supportive. Never had I had such an attentive boss. I can say for my part that I view her as not only my employer but also a friend.

I’ve been a caregiver for many years. When we moved to Athens a couple months ago I felt it time to get back to what I love...caring for the elderly!Working with Amy and Jeremy has been a very nice experience!!! They are kind and understanding of scheduling issues we as caregivers may have. While I’ve only been with Visiting Angels of Florence for a short time, I already feel blessed to be part of the team to provide the best care to our elderly clients as possible!!!

The owners, Amy and Jeremy, really go above and beyond to make sure their clients have all of their needs covered. I have personally witnessed them both take time away from their own families and personal lives to put the needs of the client first. You couldn’t ask for a better company to take care of your loved one.
