I love getting my organic spices bulk here the prices are amazing.. could be the only place to get organic blue cornmeal in town....and the best selection of organic vegetables!!!

Nice, clean a lot of variety. Some cool products to me. Very friendly and helpful staff . I was in and out in 10 minutes thats why I gave 4 stars. Didnt see everything.

I was disappointed in their incredibly limited fresh produce/food selection. They seem like a good place for alternative/vegan/gluten free foods, and they have tons of supplements. But for everyday produce and grocery items, they are too limited and way overpriced. This place could, and should be so much better.

I used to love this place, but they got rid of the honey stingers! They have the irregularly flavored ones, but not the original honey flavor, which is quite disappointing. I would always go here to get the honey stingers as a snack, but now I will probably not come back.

On our travels we always look for a Natural Grocers. We were happy to find this store. Loved this store and the old building it was in. Great produce, and had just about everything we needed (two items out of stock) The staff were very helpful & friendly.

Went in last week and the manager of the store, Michelle, was AMAZING. Ive had several issues with pain in my ankles and she helped me out in the vitamin department. She explained everything in such detail about every product I asked about. There was absolutely NOTHING she couldnt give me information about!! After she helped me in vitamins she asked if I needed anything else(at that moment I didnt need help with anything else) so she went on to doing other tasks around the store, she was helping her employees with a few things, and giving them encouragement with different things. Its great to see managers speaking to their staff the way she was. However, two of the employees she had helped, were SOOO rude to her. Then when Michelle walked away, the two girls rolled their eyes and just completely disrespected her. I went on about my shopping and asked another employee a question (I didnt catch her name) and this employee acted a as though she was inconvenienced by me asking a question. So I went to find Michelle. Once again, she helped me out. I got to the checkout line, I was once again treated very poorly by the staff. The lack of professionalism and the blatant disrespect towards the manager made me sick to my stomach. Ive left jobs in the past because of bad management, and if I had a boss like her I would never leave. I would highly suggest that someone step in and clean-up shop with the childish and rude employees. I have never been treated so well by a store manager and have also never been treated so horribly by cashiers and other store employees. So for anyone going to this store, if you need help, ask Michelle and do yourself a favor and steer clear of the employees.

The only reason I gave this place 4 starts and not 5 is because of the employees. The only one who came to me and asked if I needed anything was Michelle. After chatting for a few I realized she was the store manager. I dont care if employees have a good time at work and chit-chat but when their chit-chat consists of bad mouthing the manager, who as far as Im concerned, is the only one who is polite and knowledgeable about things, it becomes a problem. It was completely disgusting how they treated the manager. If I were her I would fire the majority of them. Get better staff who have work ethic and arent disrespectful children.

Always out of stocked on the most basic necessities with the protein/energy bars. Likewise with the cold and frozen food section. Wish this location was on paired with other Natural Grocers in larger markets with a fair selection on organic goods and protein bars. Especially with all the health conscious college yuppies that are all about organic food and tree hugger outdoor lovers.

This little grocery store in my neighborhood is on the expensive side however, being the plant-based naturalist that I am, have appreciated their organic produce and products when I just want to walk a mile to a store close by my home. Recently wore a Guy Fawkes mask while shopping in their store, I wear this mask occasionally when shopping and most people are not offended by it, I usually get some humorous comments from other shoppers and staff when I wear it in other stores. However, the management at this location doesnt have much of a sense of humor and actually asked me to leave the store for not removing the mask. Have worn the mask twice at this location previously and was abused both times by two different angry customers who were offended by the mask. What I have in common with Natural Grocers is a love for natural, high quality, organic food and products however, where I part ways with this company is in our value of human rights - this company seems to have joined with a growing number of businesses in following a disturbing trend toward trampling over the civil liberties of their customers.This company has chosen to close their doors to members of the community with medical and religious exemptions, in doing so, Natural Grocers is actually breaking the law and helping to erode the rights of American citizens. More valuable than every product and food item in that store are my civil liberties.This grocery store demands mask wearing then offers a plastic face shield to those with mask exemptions, and then in the next moment claims that a plastic face covering is not good enough. Perhaps they didnt like the mask, even with face covered underneath, because it doesnt fit with their extreme leftist communist ideology.Their mask policy is not supported by any actual laws and in fact is unlawful as it discriminates against those who have exemptions to covering their faces in public. As I walked out of this store after being ordered to leave, one of the employees let me know that I was not welcome back. Feeling incredibly grateful that there are numerous grocery stores in this city, many of which carry the same beautiful healthy organic food and products but are less expensive and are staffed with people who are educated on civil rights laws. Feeling a great sense of relief and gratitude that I will no longer be shopping at this store.

Horrible customer service and a company that simply doesn’t care. They disenfranchise people with medical and other exemptions written into the to city proclamation on masks. If you’re going to say you’re following state and local rules you have to follow all rules not just the ones you choose through emotions.

We had never heard of Natural Grocer’s before but while on vacation found it across the street from our hotel. The cashier on lane 1 at 0920 on 1/14/20 was awesome!! She was so helpful and enthusiastic about her job! She shared all the upcoming sales with us and how to sign up for the rewards program. Normally I wouldn’t have signed up since I wasn’t even sure if there was one in my state but she presented it so well that I went ahead and signed up. I have never seen such helpful and enthusiastic staff at a store before! I hope corporate and local management find out who this cashier was and reward her for a job well done!!!!

I love this grocery store! They have a great selection of organic products and produce at very reasonable prices. I like Sprouts grocery, but Natural Grocers is a real jewel. They’re doing things right.

Natural Grocers Health Food Store. This landmark building with its huge cow painting facing Milton Road was rejuvenated during the summer 0f 2015. Our local “Mural Mice” group touched up the original artwork including replacing the shadow that had been covered when the store repainted the building. Please notice that the artists are in full bovine costumes for the assignment!

Natural Grocers is a complicated store, they have a nice variety of items, its just not a relaxing environment, it is a stressful shopping experience. Grocery items are not well stocked and organized for the average person shopping program, you almost have to work there in order to understand the layout. And dont even think about going to the vitamin and nutrition section. It is like 2 million items in a small 20 x 20 foot section with no one helping/working in the area...unreal🤪

This is a very good natural store, however, the prices tend to be a bit extreme for most products. The staff is very friendly and always there to help. I shop here for instacart and never had issues.

This is a pretty decent store with a modest selection of what you would expect to find at a natural foods store. The staff is not overly friendly so it can be a bit of fun to find what you need, but all in all it is a pleasurable shopping experience.

I find items here that I can never find at whole foods or sprouts. Amazing produce!

Prices range from average to high. There are a lot of options for people with different eating styles. We live over 100 miles on a small town very few natural grocery options so, well be back when were in the area. Sprouts in Flagstaff is another good place to get healthy groceries that Natural Grocers doesnt have. Other than those two places, the internet or a big city are the only places find more choices and better prices.

Best natural food store in Flagstaff. I recommend the local honey. Building was an underwear factory long ago.

Staff is usually very friendly. Small store so most of the time only one cashier, but they are quick to call another cashier when busy. Usually the early morning stock of veggies is great, but it can get short in supply after holidays. Worth the trip.

For me, it was just okay. Not being an organic shopper (I went with a friend), the prices seemed a bit high; but, it appeared to be well stocked, and it was very clean. The staff members we encountered were helpful and friendly too.

We love organic local food. We are from Seattle and have lots of access to fresh local produce. We were so happy to find this place. It had many of our favorite brands and they were 35% less expensive then Seattle! Also they have a refill station for 5 gallon water jugs. Weve been here several times since we arrived in Flagstaff and Im sure there will be more!

My go to place when in town

I love the customer service at Natural Grocers. All the staff Ive talked to are very nice and helpful. They have free nutrition classes, and its a great place to get organic food without breaking the bank. Its clean, big, and the lighting is nice. I love the cow on the side of the building too.

Helpful people, great selection snd prices

We fill up our 5 gallon water jugs here. Its a great price. We also get organic eggs, milk and yogurt here. They have tons of supplements and natural items. The grocery part is small but has unique items.

It went here to buy some groceries because it sounded interesting. Was kinda surprised that half the store was vitamins and other natural supplements. I was like do you really need to eat all that if you but healthy food from their store. As a former European I was like this is not how healthy grocery stores looks there... Isnt all those vitamins and supplements for those who tries to fix their unhealthy diet with pills. Find some good groceries tho... Just left disappointed because I thought I went to a grocery store and not a natural pharmacy.
