I will not let anyone but Amee touch my hair. She is an incredible colorist and stylist. She is also just and all around wonderful person and through the pandemic went out of her way to ensure safety for her clients. I always leave feeling gorgeous!

Amee did my hair for a several years when I lived in Flagstaff, from a color correction to purple peekaboos she has always been able to successfully tackle my requests and left my hair healthier than when I arrived. When I finally had to choose a hair stylist in Flagstaff after having my brother in law do my hair for years I found Amee and her incredible one seat salon. I love the personal touch she gives the whole experience and she always does an amazing job with keeping up long blonde hair. She is also realistic with me so I don’t make her do something crazy that won’t work for my hair. I love her honesty and knowledge about that and to boot she has some really great products that I have become an avid user of (and they’re vegan!). Amee is not only my stylist but she’s the only person my son will trust with his long hair trims. She has become a wonderful personal friend of mine over the years and I won’t see anyone else. She’s also an incredible part of the Flagstaff community both professionally and personally.

Amee has been cutting my hair for almost a decade. When I first started seeing her I had long, long wavy hair that she helped me tame it into something manageable. Eventually I wanted to transition to short hair. She is the ONLY person I would have trusted to cut it all off! Amee, the owner of Shanti Salon, is a talented hairstylist and a smart and open minded human. Amee has been doing my hair for over a decade; I’ve never even considered going anywhere else. Shanti Salon is pretty and peaceful and so clean! As there is only one stylist, at Shanti, I don’t have to listen to idle chitchat and whining dryers. Nor do I have to inhale stinky fake nails and nail polish. Truly a dream come true and my boyfriend likes to come to Shanti Salon as well!

Amee is a beast of being the best!! Over 15 years experience doing hair right! Excellent execution of bringing my hair from drab to fab. Also shes friendly and has only one chair so if you need a cut or anything her salon is very very clean. You wont be disappointed here. Thanks Amee!!

Amee is AWESOME! Felt super comfortable coming in even during this Pandemic situation, the whole salon is super clean and with both of us wearing masks I feel she is doing a great job mitigating the risk. I had a great experience today with Amy! She touched up my balayage and added gorgeous pops of bright red. As soon as I walked out of the salon, I got a compliment which made me feel so special! 100% going back. Plus the salon is so relaxing and Amy was so easy to talk to.

Amee is managing her single-chair salon during the COVID-19 pandemic fabulously! Despite Governor Duceys lifting of the stay-at-home suggestion, Ive been extremely careful about where I go. Amee communicated her safety protocols to her clients and they include: she wears a mask and requires clients to as well; clients must come in alone and any friends or family must wait outside; clients arriving early must wait outside and text Amee that theyre there; each client gets a fresh cape; and all surfaces are disinfected after each client. I went in for an appointment and felt safe. Amee is such a talented stylist and so fun to be around and it felt so good to be in her salon after all this time.

Ive been going to Amee for cut and color services since 2007. She is, without a doubt, the best hair stylist Ive been to in my life. She listens to what I want and recommends different styles and coloring options as needed. She only uses the best products and I always walk away knowing I look and feel my best. I recommend her to everyone knowing that shell treat them kindly and give them exceptional service.

I have always been highly satisfied when leaving my appointments at Shanti Salon! I love the fact that it is a one chair shop. When you are there it is just you and Amee! It is very personal, and there isnt the busy hustle and bustle of big chain salons. She does a great job, is very supportive of our local Flagstaff community, and is lovely to chat with! : )

She has transformed her place into the epitome of hygienic cleanliness. Only one customer at a time is allowed into her 1 station styling salon. Masks are mandatory and she supplies them if you don’t have one. I felt very comfortable and at ease during my appointment. I would highly recommend her.Update 6/27/21I just wanna reiterate that Amee is a great stylist. She has been doing my hair since 2014 the color is always spot on and the cut is always just the way I like it. Amee is definitely not trans phobic or anything of that nature. She is a wonderful lady and I always feel good about going to her shop.

I was very disappointed that my new haircut was of such poor quality. I had to go home and fix it myself. I also did not appreciate that on a very cold and windy day I was send away with wet hair. At the beginning of the appointment I reminded the lady that I have a sensory processing issues but after few minutes she continued to comb my hair very harshly. It was an overall a painful and unpleasant experience. Needless to say, I will not return as a customer and will not promote that business.

This salon is in a historic building in downtown Flagstaff that is very charming and inviting. Amee and Brandi are terrific and you will be a lifetime client once you use them.
