I have been going to Jennifer Bergstrom since I moved to Madison 7 years ago (my now-husband well before that!) and the team as well as Jennifer has always been so nice and welcoming. When I had a recent appointment for a cleaning and a filling to take care of a long-standing receding gum line issue, my baby-sitter canceled on me last minute. I thought I would have to cancel too because bringing an energetic 3-year-old to a long appointment is not ideal, but I was grateful that they were open to having him come with me and even helped me keep him occupied while I was getting the services done. It turned out to be a fun adventure for him, ha!

I went here for years and spent a great deal of money out of pocket. It was a convenient location for me. I noticed that every time I went she found new cavities and a bunch of cavities that needed to be taken out and redone. I kept pumping money into them because they were all so nice. Eventually when everything should have been perfect but she found 4 cavities after 6 months based on allegedly shoddy work, I contacted a colleague whose husband is. Dentist. He took one look at my mouth and told me I need one filling and thats what he would do were it himself, his wife or his kids. This doc and her staff are a total scam. They put up a fight sending my x-rays to my new do . What a shifty type of human.

Awesome first visit! Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and first class equipment. Sarah was an awesome hygienist with incredible knowledge and patience. Doctor Jen is so down-to-earth and friendly. We got lucky when we found this practice!

My husband Tim Keyes was experiencing very bad pain on the lower right side of his mouth and our regular dentist was unable to get him in for 3 days. Our good friend Sean referred us to his dentist, Jennifer Bergstom.She got him an appointment for within an hour of calling her and when we arrived she immediately took care of the pain for him and provided a referral for him to see an oral surgeon to have the 2 teeth removed to relieve his pain. Going to the Dentist is not supposed to be FUN!I have so much fun when I visit my buddies at the dentist office, I forget that I really dont love having dental work done! The entire staff makes my visits so much more enjoyable. They work hard, laugh a lot and always make me feel like Im the best patient on the planet. Highly recommend Jennifer Bergstrom & staff!

Jennifer and her staff always make me feel welcome and they are super friendly. I travel for work and recently I needed to have two crowns. I was concerned about scheduling but everyone was very understanding and accommodating. All went well and I am very satisfied. Jennifer and her staff understand customer satisfaction. Every time I walk in the door I feel appreciated. Best dentist and staff I have ever been to.

Very clean, very nice people who take care of you. Dr Bergstrom was also a gem in the middle of my tooth pain and I was able to text her for an emergency and she called in a prescription asap. The only thing is they dont have the best office hours so I have to take off of work sometimes to get work done. Besides that, I love it here.

I will never go back to Jennifer Bergstrom office. I went to her office twice and both times she told me I had 8 cavities. I just went to my new dentist and they told me I had one cavity. Jennifer talks too much and wants to take your money. I suggest if you are deciding to go here, to not go!

Hands down the best dentist I have been to. I cant say enough about the amazing staff here. They are very personable and accommodating to each of their patients. I had to go in for a root canal and they made it quick and easy and best of all painless. The facility is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. I would highly recommend Jennifer and her team to anyone looking for a great dentist!

EXCELLENT experience! I was very happy with Dr. B and all of her staff - always friendly, on time, organized, prepared, and just overall really nice people. I feel like she did great dental work and was meticulous. She also fixed a small chip for me for free (just a file, but still). Not all would do this. I love the all-female run office - I love supporting female run businesses,and they make it so easy! I was so pleased and happy with the entire experience of her office and each visit. Im sadly moving away, but I would recommend the whole team to anyone! Thank you to all at the office!!

Ive been going to Dr. Bergstrom ever since I moved to the area several years ago. Prior to that, it had been almost 5 years since I had gone to the dentist. I didnt take good care of my teeth, and my gums would always bleed whenever I touched them (flossing was out of the question).But after several years working with Dr. Bergstrom, my teeth are like brand new. I can floss comfortably, I dont have any sensitivity and I can get a cleaning without severe pain.It was a long process - and sometimes a painful one - but Dr. Bergstrom and her amazing staff were friendly and honest about it all along the way. Ive recommended them to many of my friends, and they are all also happy with their experiences. Thank you to the whole Bergstrom team!

Like another reviewer, I was told by Bergstrom that i had 3 cavities that needed fillings. Ive never in my life had a cavity and I didnt know how that could change so radically, so I went to another dentist for a second opinion. The second dentist took special images that check for decay and did a thorough exam and found no cavities, just some staining that he re-checks at every appointment. Its now been a year and a half -- with regular dental checkups -- and I am still cavity and filling free.I am very grateful that I canceled my appointments with Bergstroms office to get my cavities filled. If other patients are shocked or suspicious about their needed dental work, I highly recommend getting a second opinion.Update** I just wanted to share that its now been almost 5 years since this practice told me I needed 3 cavities filled, and I have been to 2 other dentists several times since then and still dont have a cavity or a filling. I am so, so grateful I got a second opinion.

Dr. Bergstrom and her team are fantastic! They are very friendly and skilled. Another plus is the flexibility when scheduling. It is always easy to schedule an appointment without having to wait. I would definitely recommend this office.

On my first visit Dr. Bergstrom told me I needed 8 of my molars filled due to dental decay. I had only ever had one cavity previously so this was shocking to me. I asked if there was something else I could do, like change my diet or oral hygiene to fix or reverse the damage. She said no. Once the tooth starts decaying its decayed and it needs to be filled. I was very skeptical and nervous about all of this but I went through with it because I didnt think I had another choice. She filled 6 of the 8 molars. That maxed out my insurance for the year so she asked me to come back in January for the remaining 2. I felt so strongly that something was wrong that I never showed up for the January appointment. After months I finally saw another dentist. After a second opinion it was clear that none of the fillings were ever necessary and no other dentist has given me reason to fill the other 2 that Bergstrom suggested needing filling.While Bergstrom and her staff were nice, they too quickly went to the drill. I never should have gotten my molars filled and I definitely should have gotten a second opinion first.Please be careful if you have insurance that you arent getting unnecessary procedures just because they know they will get paid.

This office (and Jennifer too) is absolutely the best! Im never all that fond of dental appointments, because Ive had my share of rough ones over the years, but I was made to feel welcomed, valued, comfortable and informed. The quality of their service is also top notch!

Im new to Madison and everything has been a bit of a nightmare since I got here. Then, not three days in town, one evening an indescribable pain started in my mouth late at night when I was trying to sleep. Oh, how I freaked out because funds were low and I could not afford a dental emergency. The pain unfortunately got worse and I was forced to see a dentist. The staff promptly returned my voicemail and just as quickly got me into see the Dentist. When I heard the words Wisdom tooth extraction I started balling. Now, Ive not had many people be kind to me in life time. But Dr. Jennifer Bergstrom DDS helped me greatly in relieving my anxieties and also listened to me. I will never forget her kindness.Ever. I highly recommend this dentist.

If I went about telling people I enjoy the dentist people might think Im a little out of it. After moving to Madison in the summer I decided it was time to sort everything out dental wise. I went to a few practices and got heavy quotations and limited help regarding figuring out my costs. Another search led me to Jennifer Bergstrom DDS. I organised my appointments and everything through e-mail which was incredibly helpful. All the staff are exceptionally nice and comforting. Additionally the care I received (including a crown and periodontal work) was excellent, and far cheaper than anywhere else I have been before. Thoroughly recommend.
