I joined Mei Fitness in November since they were actually open and open 24 hours. Having the ability to go whenever is very important to me since I dont leave the hospital till almost midnight. The second most important thing in a gym for me is the equipment. Having been an athlete, Im pretty particular in equipment. They are constantly getting in the newest and latest equipment at all three of their locations. They are a no frills kind of gym and I appreciate that.The owner and his staff are incredibly helpful and professional. If you just moved to Indy or are looking for a new gym, I highly recommend Mei Fitness!

Mei fitness has become my home away from home. I am more than impressed with equipment and staff. In the years I have been at Mei so many have stood out staff wise one in particular I have noticed working incredibly hard and going over the top, Teranjeet. Her smile lights up that gym space. She is so friendly to all the members, makes sure that place is in tip top shape, and goes well above and beyond in her job. I can not say enough good things about this gym keep it up!

This place is great and Ill tell you exactly why. Ive worked at a gym, been university gym, LA, lifetime, planet fitness, the Y - I even used to come to cardinal fitness at this location. This has probably been the cleanest and most well-maintained out of all of them.Always stocked on towels, the bathrooms are clean, and any maintenance is handled expeditiously while other places take weeks and months. There is a girl that works here named Teranjeet who is always making sure that the place is spotless and that the equipment is in operation. She is also a majority of the reason I felt this review was warranted, as I feel she basically runs the place.I know what its like working at a gym and honestly whatever shes getting paid, shes worth double. I assumed she is a manager because she does more around there than anyone ive seen at any gym. She told me she wasnt which was surprising because her work ethic is unmatched. Shes even out here cleaning off the clock. A person as dedicated as that to any organization is an invaluable asset and I would want people like her on my team. Nobody wants to dust off the fans, clean toilets, replace ceiling tiles, or repair machines, but she will. Absolute unit of an employee. The staff in general is very helpful, but not as personable as she is.I havent been to a gym as consistently as this since college and I might attribute part of that to the things mentioned above. Great place, clean, and reasonably priced, and 24/7? Gimme a break. Plenty of room for compound and olympic lifts, big shout out to the owner, thank you for everything!

This truly feels like a second home/family . Ive never been happier at a gym!Its well-maintained and clean. Staff is so friendly and helpful. My son loves the kids area as well which makes it easier for me to relax and get a good workout in.

By far the best facility around!! This location is amazing from the staff, to the equipment, to the facility itself. From the ownership, to the trainers, by far the nicest and most knowledgeable staff in the business. I dont hesitate recommending Mei to anyone. Ive had plenty of friends join who love the experience. I have been a member for over a year now and dont plan on changing anytime soon! Thank you for all you do.

This is the best gym I’ve been to in a very long time. I spend most of my time at the Fishers location, and after over a years worth of training there it continues to impress me. The staff, atmosphere, and cleanliness have exceeded my expectation since the day I walked in. At other gyms, I’ve felt out of place when doing the type of training I do and working hard. I have never felt judged at Mei and I’ve always respected and appreciated that.

This gym is dirty and poorly stocked. I tried to cancel over the phone but wouldn’t allow it even though I moved to Ohio. I had to drive back 2.5 hours. Then they decided to charge me a maintenance fee even know I was canceling to make extra money; if you that hard up for money, find a new profession. I joined LA Fitness, where they don’t take advantage and try to make it difficult to cancel only to steal money from members.

This is a great gym, especially if you are serious about getting in a workout. They have all the equipment you would need for any type of workout. The owner is highly involved, and takes a genuine interest in his gym, as well as your experience of the gym.

Terrible gym and staff. Not honest in the slightest. Poorly equipped and smells bad. Overpriced and not worth the money. I will never be back and this place needs to be closed down.

As a first time gym-goer my experience has been so welcoming. I had lots of reservations about being a part of a gym and was initially very fearful.However, at MEI I have not only had access to great equipment that has helped me change how I look physically, but also I have access to a community that cheers me on while doing so!I feel like I am not only improving myself but I am also being lifted up by the community and I would not trade that!I would take a half hour and come by for a tour.There are several gyms that are closer to me, but I drive over 15 minutes for the environment!

I am a senior citizen and have been going to Meis for years. I enjoy the fact that when I walk in & TeranJeet is at the front desk , she ALWAYS has a big smile & Good morning! She is very friendly, polite, and PROFESSIONAL. I enjoy talking to her, & she is very helpful .She is constantly busy with keeping the facilities clean .It is a fun place to go. Everyone of ALL ages are very Friendly.

I feel led to say for everyone to see this.I can whole heartily say that this gym is where I belong. It’s funny to some because you are trying to understand why that is, well not only does this gym have top of the line equipment but there is so much more to it. To the scriptures on the walls, the positive atmosphere, to the music reminding you that GOD is always working in your highest good. The owner is living through GOD’s vision. I have made friends who feel like family to me & over the last year I had parted ways & while I was working out gym hopping everywhere else I always felt lost & out of place. I call this place home & where I belong because I feel that this gym is helping motivate me through my workouts & my own life issues. Love this gym! Been to many other gyms and never have had as much diversity in equipment. The environment is phenomenal whether its the staff, owner or everyone that works out there!!

I recommend Mei Fitness to everyone I talk to about working out. I used to be a lifetime fitness member but with the new hours I can never work out whenever I want. Now I can come at anytime and still use the sauna and do my normal routine however I please.

I was minding my own business and doing my work out. i was taking a little break when i saw a work from mei fitness looking in my direction, i didn’t think much of it so i continued my workout. I look over again and i see him and another female worker at the front laughing while looking at me. I still didn’t think much of it in my head but i has the suspicion they were making fun of me.i go over to the trend mills that are by the front desk and they are still laughing and looking towards my direction, i knew something was up and i went to confront them, they had the rudest attitudes toward me and all i was doing was doing my workout. I felt so down the rest of the day whilst those to workers had a good laugh.On top of all that the same female worker who made fun of me flipped 2 other men off while i was minding my own business. I heard what she has said to them and my god it was out of this world, how do you hire some like that!!??? She canceled there memberships for no reason at all.

I love this gym. Its 24 hours, clean, has everything for weights lifting and cardio. The Sauna is a good addition.

Shoutout goes to an adorable elderly lady & her partner in crime tackling those windows in Fishers then to come to Keystone Location today to see those 2 yet again with the windows...Coming from a freakishly tall guy I appreciate the partner in crime who stood on tip toes to make sure the tops of mirrors were clean for my tall guy selfies!Much love & appreciation for those hardworking ladies !Such a clean gym I have no worries about any COVID stuff while working out at those 2 locations.THANK YOU MEI FITNESS !!

How are you going to have a off duty employee that’s working out flick me off and after have the nerve to say I should just quit your to big to even workout. Like how does this make a human feel like inside?.. On top of that I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but cmon the plumbing issues in this place are incompetent to the standards of plumbing code of Indiana. OSHA will be contacted regarding the issues. Furthermore this place is horrible and explains why there only in Indiana

I love Mei Fitness! The gym is personal, convenient, and the staff is very nice! Ive had my membership since October and the atmosphere is awesome! Also, the gym is always very clean. There is a variety of gym equipment that people can use as well! There is also FREE kid care, so it is family friendly! Also, FREE classes! The only thing I wish was that they would have more stair masters, because sometimes they are taken and I have to wait. Otherwise, I recommend this gym to all friends and families!

This is my goto gym for bodybuilding, powerlifting and overall exercise. The owner is great and is always updating and upgrading equipment. The monthly price is right and they have 24/7 access via a key tag at the front door.

2 minutes agoWas warned about this gym but ignored it because I loved the equipment and space. I had moved out of state due to job relocation. I emailed in writing confirmation of me cancelling my gym membership knowing i would owe 60 days of membership dues probably for the notice. However I got a collections notice right around the pandemic starting saying i owe like 300 something dollars. The employee at gym said they needed it in writing. Like handwritten... Is email not enough? Its evidence that I cancelled my membership. In writing! Make sure your going to commit to the full membership because they will screw you with the termination. I also just found out they closed the Avon location without any notice to membership holders ha.

Best value for price gym out there! The owner is always adding new equipment.

This has been my home away from home for a few years currently. There is a vast array of equipment to use and it is always being updated thanks to the owner Mel. He is a rare business owner that actually cares about the people that come into his establishment. They always strive for the best environment anyone could ask for and it shows. Hands down best gym I have ever attended.

Mei stands out of all gyms. Friendly, welcoming, clean, and the best equipment. It’s setup for any fitness level. Mel has made family owned gym feel like big family no matter what location you attend. Highly recommend.

I just started my gym experience about 3 months ago and Mei has been awesome. Lots of equipment options especially for more professional hard core gym attendees. My boyfriend is very particular about his gym equipment and Mei is wonderful if youre thinking of pursuing competitive body building or certain physiques. Everyone is nice and they also have a sauna and training options.

I spent several years working out at LA. Recently, I joined Mei. As I was signing up Mel (the owner) came up introduced himself and welcomed me to his gym. A week or so later I’ve noticed this gym is spotless and smells clean! The staff is always cleaning and wiping down machines. No machine is broken and no barbells are bent. Also, this gym being a true 24hrs is also really convenient. I recommend trying this gym!!

This facility is terrific! The equipment is top-notch but what makes this place special are the PEOPLE (both the members AND employees)! I see a wide range of people working out - all body shapes and sizes and all ages (teenagers to older folks). The front desk people ALWAYS greet you upon your entrance with a ready smile. The trainers are amazing - most especially ANTHONY. Oh, my goodness, what an outstanding trainer. His classes are always well attended and Ive spoken to others who say that HE is the reason why they are members of this gym. The gym is always clean (I see employees routinely cleaning all the time), the sauna is large and oh-so-nice after a hard workout. They even have a small child care area and a tanning bed. Nice mens and womens separate changing rooms with lockers (its the first come-first filled and then use your own padlock). Filtered water on tap for filling up your water bottles. Very reasonable monthly fees. Honestly, I cannot imagine going anywhere else!

By far best fitness facility I’ve ever trained at in my 40 plus years bodybuilding and fitness training.Locally owned and open 24 hours gives this gym a big advantage over other local facilities.I love the fact the owner is always changing and adding new equipment, and it’s clean,clean,clean.Good vibe with all ages of people from HS kids to old guys like me.Very affordable, check this one out if your looking for a great place to get fit.

Absolutely love working out here. Such a warm family-friendly environment. The owner does his best to accommodate needs of members and gets certain machines according to the members wants. Not your typical branch chain corporate owned gym, this owner definitely puts us first unlike those corporate gyms. My account details were messed up on their end. This has made cancelling my membership impossible. It seems like they use 90s era gym cancellation tactics to get you to pay fees and extra months. That or they really are just bad at managing their business.Read the other reviews about how dirty this place is and how unethical they are. Combine that with a total lack of customer service as well as consistently dirty bathrooms, showers, and workout areas and you get a gym that isnt worth your money.Ten minutes up the road is the nicest gym in town. Its called lifetime fitness. Take your money there instead. They wont mess up your billing like MEI Fitness does either.

Amaaazing variety of equipment! I love that the owner is always bringing in new pieces often. I am always able to switch up my workout routines to challenge my muscles. Broken equipment gets fixed with in a week. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves strength training!

Mei Fitness is the best 24 hour fitness gym Ive ever worked out in. The gym has everything an average fitness goer could want and more! The best part about the gym to me is the staff. Griffin, the manager of the Fishers location, is super helpful and you can tell he takes pride in his work. I have had to cancel and reopen my membership several times and he always makes sure Im taken care of. Plus, his workout sessions are money and he definitely is effective at helping people reach their fitness goals! Go to Mei, you wont regret it!

I am a 54 year old man who has been a life long weight trainer. I actually own my own personal training facility in Westfield. I had a serious accident with surgery in December that put me in a wheelchair until a month ago. I found Mei fitness because it was close.It is one of the best appointed, run fitness centers I have ever been in. It is immaculately clean. If you are handicapped it offers so many options for you to maintain your fitness. If you are a hardcore strength athlete you will be impressed.Mel and his staff make you feel like family. No pretense; awesome equipment choices; super knowledgeable people; perfect size. I cannot give any place a better review. Prices are more than fair. I hope you check it out.

My husband and I joke that we moved back to Fishers for this gym. We absolutely love this gym, the equipment, the staff, and how clean they keep it. The staff is friendly and helpful. Mei Fitness is the best gym in this side of town offering plenty of equipment and a great variety of them too. This gym has a very friendly environment, I have seen people from all backgrounds and different levels of experience come to Mei Fitness and not just the employees are ready to help but also the members themselves are so friendly and helpful to each other. One of my favorite things is that they are always playing christian music which always ministers to my life. This gym is without a doubt the best place to workout at and I will recommend it to everybody.

Best gym I have been to. It has state of the art equipment, some things I have never seen before (like the Olympic rig). Theres always something new to try and the staff is friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the line for the tanning bed, SOMETIMES (not always super long, but I like to tan at the very beginning.) I am a member for as long as I live in Indy!

Such a great place to workout! A ton of cardio and weight equipment...Ive never had any trouble getting onto whatever machine I wanted to use, even during busier after-work hours! There is a huge variety of free classes taught by amazing trainers and the atmosphere is so welcoming and friendly!

Best gym in Fishers! Family friendly, super clean, great equipment, fitness classes, childcare, friendly and helpful staff, hot sauna & tanning bed (if you chose) all for one low monthly fee. Never too busy either. Open 24 hours! Its my daily treat. Cant imagine my life without it.

Very clean and awesome atmosphere to workout in. Great people all around while you are there and they are very helpful. The trainer, Griffin Walizer was very knowledgeable and got me right in the weight room. If you are in need of a personal trainer and are in the Fishers area I suggest Mei Fitness and having Griffin get you in the best shape of your life.

Coming from a fitness lover who has been a member of the new 96th Street MEI since its opening, this gym is by far the nicest and most inclusive facility I have ever been apart of. The friendly owner Mel Rivera has a true passion for fitness and taking care of his gyms and clients. You wont find another membership that offers classes, tanning, and 24/7 access at such an affordable price. I would highly recommend MEI fitness to any beginner or advanced gym goer!

After belonging to LA fitness for 2 years and being extremely disappointed, I am very happy to have found this place. clean, nice equipment, tanning included, child care included, sauna included, open 24 hours, also clean. you should join this gym.

I signed up for $25.00 a month with an agreement for no price increases ever. A little over a year later an extra fee, (rates went up) for anyone that uses credit cards as the autopay option. The explanation was that peoples cards expire and its a hassle for Mei Fitness when they do expire. I emailed back saying I didnt like that my rate went up, I signed up for no increases to my membership. I received no response at all. I hadnt pursued it any further when I came in to workout and they said sorry your membership is cancelled. Im like what why? They called the owner and he said you dont like the fee so we cancelled your membership. No notice, no apology, no nothing... I will no longer do business or promote Mei Fitness. The owner clearly does not stand by his word on contracts or customer service!

Friendly staff and nice facilities but billing issue caused a lot of problems. I was charged multiple times a month and the issue was not resolved until I contacted them for the fourth time. They did not bill my card in the previous months so they decided to bill it all at once. This caused a big problem for my finances when it was all taken out at once. I have cancelled my membership and will be taking my business elsewhere.

The equipment is top of the line and so is the staff. But its never a truly clean gym. Looks clean but its deceptively dirty as hell. The weights are all over the place because no one puts equipment away. Anyone reviewing here recently have no clue how clean a gym truly should be. Ive been working out for over 18 years now and played D1 Football. Never have I contracted any infections until this gym.Ive had verbal and physical altercations due individuals not cleaning equipment or mats. You can see a person take a mat, do a 20-30 minute stomach or whatever workout and put it right back. Not even a thought of cleaning it. It doesnt help that the gym does not give out towels. Cleaning items which consist of bottles and towels never seem to be clean either. They are the same blue towels you see every day. Smart gyms changed the color to show they change the towels. Not here. All of these problems have been expressed to the staff many, many times. Have top of the line equipment but have the cheapest approach to cleanliness and upkeep.You can look into the mens bathroom and the showers are filthy. Can go days without soap in the showers, days. Could you imagine how many times it is cleaned?So in the end I was hospitalized for MRSA. Work from home and the gym is the only place I attend on a daily basis. Its absurdly ridiculous that this gym cannot stay clean. Needless to say that any gym can look great and clean but this place is a bacteria petri dish.

I’ve already posted a review on the Southport location where I explained that I lived in Southport and drove to the Castleton Lifetime to work out and how Southport Mei blows lifetime outta the water. Now I had to move to Castleton and was scared to check out the Fishers Mei because no way it is gonna be as good. If anything it’s better than what I already thought was the best gym in Indy. Keep it up Mel! Can’t wait to check out Keystone when it opens!

I absolutely love this gym! I have been a member since October 2016; I dont think Ive missed more than one day a week since I started. The gym offers an environment that is motivating to workout/train and puts you in a mood where you cant wait to come back... ...They have a great staff and wonderful members with many different fitness goals. They are constantly adding new equipment. Plus you never have to wait in line to use anything... As I started this review, I absolutely love this gym! I am on my way to achieving my fitness goals for tge 1st time in 5 years; when I reach them Mei Fitness will definitely be given much credit for my success!

Details of my account and cancellation policies were messed up and miscommunicated by the company, wherein I am being forced to pay for an extra month that wont be put to use since I am traveling and then moving, although I had followed exactly what I was told by an employee during my sign-up in how to cancel my membership.Other in-gym employees were very dismissive of my problem and told me to take the problem up with the owner but offered no ways of contact to do so and were offering for me to pay the fees ahead of time before my trip and my move, even though said fees were pointless on my end.Upon emailing a lengthy explanation and asking for any sort of consideration to the gyms main email, I had to message their social media just to assure a response. Even so, the later emailed response was short, dismissive of my entire issue, lacked any acknowledgement of the mistake on their end, and simply restated the miscommunicated policy in a way as if the miscommunication were completely my fault, rather than their poor customer service, staffs, and shady business ethics. And, in the end, they were still going to take my money -- thats all that seems to matter to them. I replied to that company email, again asking for reconsideration and reiterating that I had followed the instructions given to me by gym staff, and got not even one reply or acknowledgement of it.Combine that customer service with a small, messy and unorganized gym where patrons rarely put equipment back where they should and never wipe machines after use, and you get Mei Fitness.Seeing other poor reviews in regards to customer service, billing, and cleanliness, I now realize I shouldve taken my money elsewhere. Horrible experience, never again and never recommending. Thank goodness Im traveling and moving altogether so soon.

As a longtime Avon location MEI Fitness member who is in Indianapolis everyday, I wanted to check out the newest gym creation of owner Mel Rivera. Wow! Mel and his MEI Fitness team folks have done a great job creating another spacious gym with a broad cross section of equipment that caters to the hard core aesthetic bodybuilders (like myself), as well as those just looking for a welcoming environment to get in shape. Locker room and equipment are clean and maintained and I love the hassle free 24 hour access. Two locations for the price of one is great too! For those into cardio (not me), there are tons of goodies for you and the whole front wall of TVs.

I have been into fitness for 5 years now and been to a lot of different gyms. I have never seen a cleaner gym, or a more friendly staff than what i experienced at Mei Fitness. Friendships were built quickly with all the workers, and they are still growing today. Previous to this I was at a large gym chain for 4 years and never met one single person. There is something special about Mei fitness and recommend it to anyone interested in going to the gym no matter what shape youre in. I know they have great trainers that will meet you where you are and help you reach your full potential. Another huge plus about mei fitness is the equipment. It is always clean and they have anything you could ever need for a very affordable price. If you have not checked it out, I would definitely recommend it as soon as possible.

He remembers everyones names and youre life story if you give him the chance to listen to it!!!! He also teaches the classes and makes it applicable for each person at every fitness level. Griffin is also always there to answer questions no matter what he is doing. Everyone at Mei Fitness cares so much about all the members. They also make sure the equipment is kept new and clean for everyone. The owner Mel Rivera is really doing an amazing job here at Mei Fitness on 96th street. I strongly recommend dropping your other memberships and joining the Mei family.

Mei Fitness is the right sized gym. More than enough benches, free weights and cardio equipment but not too much that you feel lost, like the big gyms. I followed my trainer Anthony Mulryan here because of his knowledge and more importantly enthusiasm!!! He greets everyone by their first name, as if you are an old friend. Personally, I would not be as successful as I have been if it were not for Anthony. Let me add, the classes are free and he makes them fun while working hard. Mei Fitness is worth the value and time!!!

I love Mei Fitness! The people are friendly and respectful, (owners & clients) the place is immaculately clean, & very well equipped with the best !! I I recommend it to anyone!

This place is amazing. Ive never felt so welcome from a gym before I have only met a handful of the staff but they are amazing and they hold strong values. Coming from a marine and the regulations and standards the Devil Dawg and his wife who own the gym I can tell Im going to be part of the mei fitness family for a while! No judgements just open arms and welcomes.

Always very clean and the equipment is top notch. From the cardio equipment to the free weights every type of training is covered.

Management is rude and only cares about money.

Outstanding! Very clean facility (we see staff cleaning equipment on a regular basis), all new equipment, large selection of cardio (treadmills, ellipticals, rowing, stairs, and more, plenty of benches, big monster rig in the middle with every configuration you can think of, kettle bells up to 50 pounds, 2 complete sets of dumbbells, large variety of classes (and growing as they locate instructors) including boot camp, HIIT, butts and guts, yobility (those are the ones Ive tried so far), friendly and attentive staff, and just a fun atmosphere!

Really nice gym but since Ive started going here it gets dirtier and dirtier every time. No one cleans and no one puts their weight away.

Terrible! They operate under the guise of Christianity playing Christian music in the gym, but they are really greedy, unethical liars.Buyer Beware!!
