Dr Vu is the best of the best...she is experienced, practical, listens and is actively pro active on your teeth. I have been seeing her for 17 years. She is ageless too! I heartily recommend her for all ages.

I had a really good experience with my first couple of visits- they got me in quickly, did an exam, Xrays and a cleaning. They also have me a quote for wisdom teeth removal(s) which came to near $3,000. At first I said okay schedule the surgery, then a few days later after talking it over with my partner decided it was something we just couldn’t afford at that moment. There is only one dentist(that I know of) in Whatcom county that accepts my insurance type and they didn’t have any openings to see me for several months so I was happy to go to premier and see where it went because I didn’t have a dentist at the time and was overall happy with the initial visit. When I cancelled the surgery, I told the lady on the phone that I was potentially going to wait and see if I could get a quote from the place that took my insurance before I rescheduled the surgery. I never made any further apt with the other place and was saving up money to schedule the surgery with premier. I called a month or so later and let them know my wisdom teeth were infected and it was the same problem I had before but couldn’t yet afford the removal surgery. I said hey can I get the antibiotics refilled or do I need to come back in for a recheck? She called me back about 20 minutes later and said “ well we have on our records that you don’t go here anymore, you transferred your records somewhere else so you need to go there if you are having problems with your teeth”… I said no I was thinking about going to the place that did take my insurance but ended up not doing that because I was actually pleased with your office when I came in. The Dr was extremely friendly and welcoming and did a wonderful job. The girl I spoke with on the phone today though said several times in a demeaning tone and wouldn’t drop it that “I transferred my records so we can’t help you”… I was honestly so baffled and taken aback that I hung up on her. Not to be rude, not because I’m a Karen- but because I was shocked that she actually said that. I also work as a customer service rep and understand you get frustrated- but still this situation had no means for her attitude. Didn’t even offer me another appointment to be seen even though I offered to make one and pay for it if that’s what was needed. Also I NEVER called and said that I was going to be seeing someone else and to please transfer my records..If I had said that then maybe I would understand the altercation…So now my wisdom teeth are infected, I can’t eat food or open my mouth comfortably and i’m waiting several months to get into another dental office (Which I didn’t want to do) so I can start the process all over again. Very disappointed…

Dr. Vu and all of her staff were awesome! They went out of their way to make sure that I was calm and comfortable during the entire process, and set me up with a solid plan for future dental health.

This is the second time Ive met Dr. Nichols (he was my dentist for my initial visit) and the first impression was so important to me especially with dentists. Hes super chill and had continued positive vibes all throughout my visit. Due to my cancer therapies my teeth was the first to be affected so I had 11 teeth fillings to do. I thought I was brave enough to do five in one sitting but I wasnt. Dr. Nichols was super accommodating with any pain I experience and when I was still feeling the pain, he introduced me to nitrous which became my new best friend at the dental office. Nitrous, Dr. Nichols and I got along just fine during the remainder of my teeth fillings journey. He communicated everything hes doing and about to do and this truly made the experience even more pleasant. In addition, hes beautiful singing voice added to my calmness. I ended up only doing 3 out of 5 of my fillings today but thats more than enough for me to be proud of as I am usually only able to tolerate one at a time. Jenna my hygienist for the day was also very attentive to my needs as well as the front desk staff that took her time in breaking down the prices for me as now the appointments will be split into two fillings at a time.I appreciated the moment every staff spent with me, taking their time to tend to my needs as dental visits are never easy to do specially if were not a big fan of needles. The staff made my experience feel more at ease and pleasant to visit again.

Today I spent nearly 3 hrs in the chair getting a root canal and it was the most painless experience during and now after i can hardly even tell i went to the dentist honesty my mouth is no longer numb and I have no pain on tooth I got worked on. I highly recommend this dentist office and give them 5 stars and more. I dont have a single complaint well cost but that comes with anything related to your teeth.

Horrible way they do business. They charge you prior to getting any goods and services before even seeing what your insurance will cover or even providing you with an itemized bill. Its all about the money with them and not about patient services or your well being. Stay far away from this business.

Omgosh, what can I say? Dr. Vu is my personal HERO. Id be a front-teeth rotting out bumb if not for her. No one can tell me that she doesnt truly care about our oral health, that its all about the money ... Sure, it IS A BUSINESS, after all - goal charts just show that shes got things going on and having them included in staff meetings and on wall of financial office tells me that at least shes transparent - keeping her working partners in the know. Sounds like a healthy business practice to me. TEAMWORK - Thats what that screams - and your can witness the teamwork atmosphere when youre there as a patient. Theyre awesome, crazy, successful, beautiful people in that place. I have so much respect for her and her team because of this atmosphere.The dentist I visited for a time before Dr. Vu was the kind that some people have described in their reviews - it was a stiff atmosphere, reminecent of thepopular clicks in high school .. all about image - he and his staff. He obviously spends a considerable amount of time in front of a mirror - MANSCAPE much?? He was better groomed than me!!I had lost my daughter not long before seeing this dentist, who, by the way, had THE HIGHEST FEES IN WHATCOM COUNTY - and happened to be very emotional the day of my appointment. Didnt expect to, but the conversation just led me there, and I cried a little. Not loud, messy, crazy crying, just tears streaming down my cheeks as he wss working on my mouth. That was it. Nobody else could tell I was crying except for him and his assistant.He dismissed me from his practice citiing different goals or some B. S. like that. What a puke.Ive never come close to feeling the way he made me feel here at Premiere.I accept that it is a real dilima for dentists, as since a majority of people dont have dental coverage, theres a lot of decay just out of control, and usually those of us who have no insurance and cannot afford the fees, even discounted ones, end up not getting seen until mass critical point, when our cheek is ballooned out like chipmunks, and what a mess! Hard to make a plan when its so far gone.But I am simply amazed how Dr Vu deals with people like us. Shes not judgemental, she may nag at you on taking care of your mouth and try to convince you to give up the sugar, like a mother, but I truly feel her empathy in those lectures, and she always goes above and beyond to come up with a solution to the mess shes presented with, all the while knowing shes probably never going to get paid for all this creative thinking, SOS mentality, and out of the box work shes doing.Most dentists are just disgusted with you and wont lift one creative finger to help someone who is disadvantaged.Trust me, this is a great place -, insurance or not. The staff have been great, Bill explained everything to me and was thorough. I couldnt ask for a better team. Billing was simple and straight forward. They also sent as I asked, for all the charges I had for the year so I could do my taxes. I have no fear of dentists and have been lucky yo find such a good team!

Dr. Nichols did another great job today filling an upper tooth for me. Barely felt the Novocaine shot to numb the area.The repair work went quickly and I appreciated the excellent communication from him during the process. He is a very skilled and considerate professional.

Thought it would be a great place to have regular cleaning. Do to constant traveling, have not had a consistent doctor. First day of experience was good, the cleaning lady was very detailed. Dr. greeted me and checked on me. They are great sales people. What was suppose to be just a general clean, ended up having me there about 4 more times in one month span. Of course it cost me, and was not cheap do to not having insurance. Ended up having a deep clean which first lady did good. Second side of mouth, a different lady had started to numb me without my approval. She insisted I needed to be numbed do to deep clean. They seem to not keep good records of what they have been doing to me. Lady said I had not had a deep clean even though it was a day before I had the first side done. Anyways, those two visits plus a couple more in that month the Dr. has not come and greeted me.Anyways, just a poor experience and nothing is really organized in the office. Being a business owner myself, I understand how important being organized and and customer service is key to success.

As a visitor from out of town, I lost a ceramic partial crown while eating lunch, and needed an emergency appointment. They were able to see me within 30 minutes, and were able to re-insert the inlay until I can return home and see my regular dentist. They did a great job, with very minimal discomfort. Thanks guys!!

JUST GOT MY BILL FOR THE X-rays Vu says my new dentist would pay for. Guess he disagrees! Vu blocked me from Facebook or I would post a picture of the bill! She only shows the good reviews on her sites but not the bad ones.That’s ok. I will let everyone I can know about her every chance I get!UPDATE: I Found a new dentist and requested my files and x-rays be sent to them three weeks before my appointment and then again two days before my appointment. The only thing they said was one measly x-ray with no records and I ended up having to have another set of x-rays done which were only allowed once every five years. She chose to sit on the records and x-rays and then they had the nerve to tell me that the new dentist should eat the cost for the $66 for the x-rays. I hope she chokes on her $66. I will not force my new dentist to eat the cost of those x-rays when I demanded that my records be sent over. It is not his fault that they refused to give my records over so I will be eating the $66. People beware of this dentist she’s not as good as she acts.I am embarrassed at my smile, The crowns were crooked and the partial shows a fake gum line on the side of the tooth instead of at the gum line. I waited many years for the chance to get new crowns and thought Lin vu was a great dentist. I look about as bad as when I came. But hey, I did get a chance to see their finance goals for the month. Each one had goals of making between 30,000-70,000. Each for 1 month! But can’t do a decent job on crowns. Plus the partial broke after a few weeks. I wasted my money on this and am extremely disappointed.

Situation was, I was in serious pain from a broken tooth. After being rejected by all the Emergency Dentists in Bellingham ( done so in a could care less manner) contacted Premier. From moment one their sincere caring manner shone through. Nothing immediately available, put me on the schedule for the next available appointment, two days out. They called me 2 hours later, found time to assist me today. They didnt have to do that, but they did. Met Dr. Phil, his preference, he got going on a very very hard procedure. Premier dental was amazing from the very first phone call! I had an emergency dental situation where I was leaving shortly for my honeymoon but had severe tooth pain. They got me in the very next day..even bumped my appointment up early so that they could do the full treatment. I have always been distrusting of dentists. As such my teeth are horrid! I was referred to Dr. Vu for an extraction. With some reservation i made an appointment the same day. Dr. Vu was extremely busy and had a hitch in her giddy up, but that didnt slow her down one bit. She made me feel right at home and explained that the extraction would have to wait until my infection had passed. To make a short story long, a week later she was able to extract my very damaged tooth in less than 2 minutes! Thats right........... 2 min! Dentist shopping isnt easy, my wife and I relocated to Washington 2 years ago and I was searching for a dentist closer to home. After much procrastinating I decided to try out Premier Dental in Ferndale. Booking my new patient exam was quick, easy and they got me in the same week I called! All office staff, assistants, hygienist and dentists were friendly and professional. My first and second visit were a great experience and I got great feedback from the staff on how to better care for my teeth and gums that I had not been told of at various other practices.Most recently I began having some pain in my mouth that was not tooth related; they were able to see me for a quick evaluation the same day I called! I have been a patient of Dr. Linh Vu at the Premier Dental Center since early 2014 after I moved to Ferndale. A friend recommended her very highly, and I am so glad I followed that recommendation. I have been in their office 3-5 times each year, and I have always been treated with respect, kindness and concern. Every individual I have interacted with has been friendly, professional and helpful.Clinically I have found Dr. Vu to be extremely skilled and very aware of my needs and concerns as she has worked on my teeth. Once when water was being used to rinse my mouth she noticed that I was uncomfortable. She stopped the procedure and took the time to build a “dam” (at no extra cost) so the water would no longer be a problem. It made big difference to me. When I have had questions for Dr. Vu, she has pulled up a chair, sat down and given me her undivided attention, answering my questions until she knew I understood and was satisfied.The hygienists and dental assistants assisting Dr. Vu have all been very professional, skilled and kind. The front office folks who deal with finances and insurance are extremely knowledgeable. The person I talked with took me into a private office so that other patients in the waiting room didn’t hear our discussion about my finances. She answered all my questions and explained how their billing process and my insurance worked. I am grateful that they handle all that.One of the ways Dr. Vu demonstrates her genuine concern about the dental health of her patients is, on a regular basis, to offer free or discounted procedures. I have been able to take advantage of some of those when I might not otherwise have been able to afford them. They have helped me feel much better about my old teeth.I certainly give the Premier Dental Center my highest recommendation knowing that anyone I send there will have the best of care.

Premier Dental Center has been the best dentist experience I have had to date. I was pleasantly surprised by the care, and comfort I felt when I had my upper wisdom teeth extracted a few months back. We moved to Sumas from downtown Seattle. Our dental providers were great, so I was anxious to get the same in Sumas (3 blocks from Canada). I saw Premier Dental ad for $89 first visit. Their patient care from receptionist to dentist was first rate. Dr. Vu explained my oral health and I might add they have an insurance plan for a year that beats retiree plans. Recommend highly.

I am new to the area and did not have a dentist, i went in for an emergency root canal over christmas break and was delighted that they fit me in last minute and took care of my root canal as fast as possible! As a new patient I did not know what to expect from Dr. Vu and her team. Happy to say from my first appointment through a few procedures I have had a totally positive experience.

The office girls are very pleasant. I had a new hygienist last week that I like very much and will stay with in the future. Dr. Vu is very cheerful, kind and thorough as usual. The only displeasure I have is that I had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time the last 2 visits. No apology or explanation. 20 mins. is a long time when one has errands and lunch scheduled. The parking situation at times is also less than adequate.

Dr. Vu is amazing, I have slight disabilites, and the moment I sat in the chair I flipped. Total breakdown, crying, shaking, panic attack. She sat with me for probably 30 minutes just telling me stories of while she was in school, where she attended, etc. Calmed me down. They offered to give me the halcyon (sp?) To sedate me, or percoset to make me calm while they did my cleaning (yeah I was that bad over a cleaning). Super friendly staff, super friendly dental assistants, wonderful dentist, they take care credit as well if you dont have covered insurance. Really a great place. Located just across from 7/11 in Ferndale.

Had the worst experience with Premier Dental. Would never recommend this place to anyone!! Went there on September 2nd to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out and a couple cavities to be taken care of at the same time while I was under. Showed up and they said I was only scheduled for my wisdom teeth and had to wait 15 minutes to get an answer. Then Dr. Vu said shell still make sure to get it all done but was mentioning that she couldnt stay long because she had guests coming over that evening (I shouldnt have to hear that I was making an inconvenience in her social life when they should have wrote down my appointment correctly).Then about 5 minutes before I was being put under to start the procedure I was told I might have a possible root canal and need to figure out if I want her to not touch it or to check it out and if I needed a root canal that she would put a temporary filling in. I should not have had that surprise right before I was being put under. She should have checked the X-rays properly the first time.No one really talked to me when I woke upNo one gave me anything for the pain when I leftOne tiny pack of gauze was given when I left so I had to go buy some at the storeWasnt prescribed the correct medication After 4 days of Hydrocodone not workingTheir after hour phone number on the paper given to me was incorrect and had some random Asian lady that couldnt speak English and thought I was a soliciter then hung up on me. Then tried another after hour number and they sounded annoyed for me calling after hours even though thats what the number was for.Met with the dentist after 4-5 days for a check up and she didnt even look at my mouth even though I told her how much pain Ive been in...All this happened in September and now its January and my mouth is still in extreme pain. Slightly swollen and I have a huge piece of tooth that made its way to the surface and is infected because she didnt get all of the tooth out. Also I was suppose to get all 4 teeth out but she ended up keeping one wisdom tooth in because she said it was too in there or whatever but called an actual oral surgeon after and they said it couldve come out.So please whoever is reading this please save your time and possible pain and not go to Premier Dental. I wished they would have referred me to an actual oral surgeon to do this procedure and not tell me they can do it there as everyone Ive talked to said I should have never had a normal dentist do oral surgery. Not professional at all.

I have been seeing Dr. Vu since 2001 and I was not an easy patient. I was terrified, and now after all these years I am being treated unmedicated. She is patient, clear and thorough with all of what she and her office do. She has done all my cavities, more than 3 root canals, she has done night guards for me, and so much more but the big one was she did all my upper jaw with veneers, I could not be more thankful for Dr. Vu and her ability to help me overcome that fear, her office always worked with my family on payments, prices and such. Thank you for all your work.... I am taking a moment to update my review of Premier Dental Center in Ferndale Washington the staff of that facility is phenomenal even after trying to see another dentist and having an anxiety attack I was able to return to Doctor vu. And I just want to add for anyone who has been complaining or short about the wait times and dr. Vus office you must remember waiting on in the waiting room a little extra longer means youre getting amazing care when you get in the back I have never felt like she is rushed my care. I would recommend this facility for any Dental Care and I again score them 5 stars I would score more if they were available
