Last time I got my nails done, I loved it. so when I went back, I went and got it done by the same lady. Only this time I highly dislike how she did them. They look tacky and my ring finger nails are longer than the rest. I asked for a refund and they said they don’t do refunds and that when I come in they could do something for me but I got them done because I’m leaving to california for a funeral. I paid $65 for these acrylics. Nail polish is already chipping off and I just got them done yesterday, the French tips just look really tacky and the ring fingers are longer than the rest.

Me and friend both with some difficult requests. I had nails from almost 6 weeks ago to remove and he had super glue all over his hands. Not to mention I had just a picture from pintrest of the ombre nails I wanted extra long and we both got pedicures. They did a great job! And I will definitely be coming back. Ive tried 3 other salons in the area trying to find one I liked enough to go back and this is it.

Kammy is the best nail technicians in the shop. She’s always professional and does an excellent job on my nails. I walk away satisfied ever time. Everyone in the nail shop is kind and helpful. Nail Trix is very clean and organized.

Very satisfied! This set was done by A nail technician who (i’m assuming) never did ombre nails before. IM OBSESSED OVER MY NAILS 😍 Very very happy! I would definitely call myself a picky client, but she was totally OK with my requests and picky eye. Of course I make sure to tip well when Being picky. This girl deserved a really good tip because she suggested a diamond on the thumb which I love!

Honestly, super nice and and great environment. I went for the first time recently and had to bring my baby with and they were so nice and accommodating. They were by far the gentlest anybody has ever been when putting on a full set. They did a fast job and they are the best nails I have ever received!

Been coming to this place for over 3 years now. Before the change in ownership, it is my opinion the business was doing a whole lot better and the service was exemplary. Im afraid I cannot say the same anymore. The prices have gone up but the service is just horrible. Most of the ladies here always seem to be rushed and it almost seems like one criticism is enough to get your nails well botched. Came in for a shellac refill and regular pedicure and I must say Im not impressed at all. I will give them one last chance but most def looking for another nail shop around.

I had an awesome experience with Lisa, she was able to achieve more than I expected.I have always felt rushed in the other places that I have been to before but not here.Saturday afternoons are usually crazy with lots of customers.....yes it was flocked but all the ladies here took time with their customers.I left a very happy lady and I will be coming back again n again

I made an appointment for a full set at 3:30pm and when I got there no one was at the front and another girl who was working on a client asked if I had an appointment. I let her know I did and that my appointment was at 3:30pm. She said ok have a seat... time passes and Im still waiting. More and more clients come in who have also made appointments and I noticing that they are setting up for them to be seated first. By this time it is 4:20pm and Im still waiting. Its not fair to call ahead to make an appointment and still wait almost an hour to be seated. I finally had the courage to let another girl know that I had been waiting a long time and if I was still going to be seen. And she quickly let her coworkers know and sat me down right away. I said thank you and was rather nice about it. I probably would have had to wait longer if I hadnt spoken up. But it really was upsetting. It would have been better if someone would have told me that I was going to have to wait. Atleast then I wouldnt have felt like I was forgotten. I have been coming here a long time and hope that next time its better.

Kammy for nails and Tina for toes are the absolute best! Both do such an amazing job and pay attention to the small details.

Thank Goodness the lady that finished off my pedicure salvaged what could’ve been an awful time and experience which was started off by Lisa. Lisa was quite rough and very unprofessional as the service progressed, reason being unknown. I could tell from how frustrated she would get over quite minute issues that dealt with my comfort. The mask doesn’t cover the energy you put out. I’m grateful Michelle ended the service on such a caring and profesional note.

I have not had any services at this salon, but I definitely will because these people are so amazing and honest! Let me tell you what happened to me: I lost my wallet coming out of the car rental place next door, but I didn’t know where I lost it! I looked at home, called the car rental place, retraced my steps- nothing, no wallet.I was about to cancel all my credit cards, get a new license, kiss my cash good-bye, etc.Then, as a last ditch effort I started checking the businesses next door. The first place I checked said they found it and kept it for me-nothing missing!!I told the owner he restored my faith in humanity!Please give these people your business-they deserve it!

After 7.5 years of getting my spa treatments done here I will never go back! The ownership has changed and the entire experience is awful. I made an appt for 4 of us to get our nails and feet done. We waited 1.5 hours for them to seat us! This is when we had an appt! I even made the appt for a later time since the person on the phone told me they could accomodate us better when I asked for the best time. The attitude was that they did not want us there, they were so burdened to have us need them, they eventually started all of us except one, the 10 yr old girl who this was her first pedicure! They kept changing people who were working on us, did a terrible job and were rude. When we went to pay, they told us a price that was more than double what the prices are. They just said its new ownership and that is the price. They had prices listed right in front of us in their glass cabinet and they said those are old prices. I had been there just 2 weeks before. The price had gone up with the new owners and I had been paying those prices for some time now, but what they were charging us was outrageous. We told them what we were willing to pay (their new price but not all the extra amounts she was adding into the calculator, because we did not add any extras!) My friend and I gave only the basic tip we felt obliged to give. Had I known the whole story I would not have tipped anything, in fact I would not have paid their higher prices. The lady that always does my pedicures was the one working on my daughter and she was hustling my daughter for money. She was asking her if she wanted the hot rocks and then told her they would be $ 10 extra! She does my pedicures each time I go in and the rocks are totally part of the pedicure! When I asked what they were talking about my daughter told me and I said oh honey, thats included, dont worry about it. The lady then looked embarrassed and looked away. I did not know until later that she kept insisting to my daughter to get it and pay extra and my daughter sweetly said she would. If I had known the whole conversation before hand, I would have called her out on it because she knows me! I would have been very different about how I dealt with them. I cannot believe the experience! LIke I said, Ive been going here for 7.5 years since I moved to Washington, never has it been like this. The old owners were awesome! This whole place has gone downhill. And our pedicures and manicures? They were awful! So bad! The edge of our nails were even rough and nothing was detailed. I am just furious at myself that I even paid them at all. Please BEWARE and only try them at your own risk! You now have been warned!

Not good at designs or creating natural looking nails, need better experience with variety & need to listen to customer & not insist its ok for them, when its not, I have better place to go & will not return there sorry.....

Kammy does a wonderful job. Everytime I get a gel acrylic fill here I am always satisfied. She is fast, diligent, but very thorough when she does my nails. I am extremely picky and I never have to worry about my nails when Kammy does them. She is very nice and hilarious to. Nail Trix is an OG nail spot that ways delivers good quality work.

This place is over priced. My usual place was booked so I thought I would try them. First of all they charge you $4 for a nail file to keep and bring back. Really, making $1000 off 1 bottle of nail polish. I think would be able to provide nail files.It really just irritated me the fact they don’t tell you about the hidden fees they have.$40 full set$15 for French tip 😲.$50 debit fee$4 for a nail fileAnd tipSo now 24 hrs later my $60 French tip full set is chipping.Paid $15 more then I do at my other shop 8th day spa much better prices.

I had a great experience at this nail salon, it was my 1st time here and I paid 65 for brand new extra length acrylics and a pedicure I got a hot stone massage and really enjoyed the time and attention that they took on my nails! I highly recommend trying this place.

Pedicure prices are very good. I felt like they rushed us out quickly the last time we went. I asked for shellac on my daughters nails and they gave her the regular polish. My grandmother asked for a mani pedi and only got the pedi before being asked to pay and wasnt offered the mani after that. My niece was charged $30 to repair 3 nails (a bit high on price in my experience). Typically we receive really good service here so maybe they were just having an off day. Still a disappointment as a long time customer.

I went on a Saturday morning and they got me right back. Sam was fantastic! She listened to what I wanted and made sure to ask me if I liked them or if I wanted her to adjust any of my nails. I will definitely be going back

Love love the set up of this business. my manicure was $40. i believe for acrylics manicure. during this pandemic you will be needing to purchase your own file and buffer, for the price of $4. My tech was very good, gentle, communicable, and good procedure. my colors were so vibrant and pretty i got gel. only thing i was a little disappointed about is, right by my cuticle the acrylic was uneven.The nail polish didn’t cover the nail all the way.

My daughter and I love this place. They are very patient and professional, and I think they have done a great time every time. We travel from Tacoma to go here, we love them.

Michael was very rude and talks to customers in a very harsh way his tone of voice is loud, I do not recommend going there unless you want to be talked to in such way.

I go there with my daughter. They are always very sweet to her and myself. We recently went there and she got her first full set which is exciting for a teen. I had a bad experience with some nails breaking over a 2 week span that was a bit frustrating, but thanks to Kayla for taking the time to find a solution. As recommended, I took off my old nails, and started with a fresh new set. Kayla took her time, and my nails look great! Probably the best anyone’s done them. I had no intention of looking for a new salon because it’s hard to find a good one who is so involved in quality service. Thanks for the improved service!

The place I normally go to was blocked off due to construction so I decided to try Nail Trix out. I really liked them and may be my new to go to place. I got the spa pedicure which was pure love. Will be back soon.

Ive been a customer for a few years off and on. I try other places but always land up back here. The employees are always friendly and about 98% of the time I really love their work. I wanted to write today because when I went in for a fill close to closing the were completely full but the owner squeezed me in. She normally doesnt do the fills herself but she made an exception for me. Its too bad she doesnt do them all the time because my nails came out perfect! I have very small nail beds and not once did she hurt me.

I called to make an appointment and the lady who answered was very rude. This was my first experience with this salon and makes me not want to go in if this is how they treat their customers. I called back because I wanted to ask their prices and she criticized me and said “you call me too many times” and giving me attitude. Constantly saying okay rudely and wanting to hang up the phone. I never said anything to deserve this treatment.

Went in for a mani-pedi enjoy the pedi but the mani took way too long the lady was very slow I would not listen to anything that I wanted I wanted Sparkle in one of the fingers and she decided to just put regular color after I told her that I wanted the sparkle without the color at the bottom and then after she put the sparkle in the top I still didnt like it so she was upset about it even though I told you in advance so I did not enjoy Im mani. Asked for the small fan to help dry fast but just told me its ok and after she was done painting she decided to turn it on and right as she tile me it was dry ok to leave by putting my shoes it messed up two of my nails so she had to redo it again and wait longer.Next time ill have to not get that lady.

Ive been coming here for 2+ yearsNow and loved the service and never truly had any problems with them. Today went, and they just werent helpful as in seemed to get frustrated when I was asking to help me with choosing natural nude/pink colors, just kept telling me here choose choose ... never had that problem they would always be helpful. and my toe nails where painted very badly ( chunky and uneven) another gal had to come and redo them. And then my shellac nails where painted outside of my nail so on the skin part, if you ever got shellac you know what I mean and that feeling. Anyways. I wouldnt ever normally complain but I guess today it got to me. I am a mother of two boys now, 2 under 2. So when my time is limited to be out of the house, I expect it to be worth my time and this clearly wasnt today :(

Very friendly and quick service on a Saturday. They dont take appts on Saturday but I came in after 2 and got right in with a pedicure and dipping powder manicure. This is a big salon.

Took my family for their first pedicure, went to 3 other places, google had higher reviews, that woulda made us wait hours for 3 adults, 1 child walk ins. We got in within 15 mins, they were staffed well, and clean. Their services with a pedicure was top notch, they were very patient with my youngest niece thats 5. And very detailed and my family left relaxed and satisfied, with price and service!

My mother and I start our girls days off with pedis at Nail Trix, we absolutely love them. They are clean and the staff is nice and helpful. Both the basic and the super pedi are worth every penny. Highly recommend.

I was wanted to do a refill.I did my nail at this every same place. And it last for a week only . They said i have redo a full set. And they they take all my nail off. After they put on one of my nail they said they gonna change 5dollar for remove my nail. But i did my nails in the same store. They also made me to tip them 5 dollar. I think they are rude and i will never go back.

Went in and had my nails done. Full set +shellac. Not even 24 hours chipping and breaking. Went back the next day and they fixed them which means added more shellac on top of broken edges and chips. Again not even 24hours same thing happens. Gave up going to find someone else to do them. Sad cause Ive been going there for a little and the last handful of times havent been that great.

Very displeased with my visit at Nail Trix in Federal Way today. My cousin and I had called ahead of time to make an appointment for 1:30pm and then they told us to come at 2:00pm because the lady that we wanted to do our nails wouldn’t be available until that time. We arrived there and one of the ladies tried to basically say that we were late and then as I was doing my nails she continued to come up to me and try to prove that our appointment was for 1:30pm instead of 2:00pm when they told us to come at that time! She then accused us of not calling the right store, which then leaded me to show her the number on my phone just to have her say that it was the right number! She harassed me the entire time saying that I came late and that I didn’t call and then told me to have a nice day. Never will I ever return to this nail salon again. Tammy the one who always does my nails was great but the rest of the staff is really disrespectful and rude. I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON AT ALL.

Upon walking in I was greeted and treated kindly by one of the nail techs. I explain to her that I had an appointment and that I wanted a mani and pedi. The nail tech who was doing my pedicure never even looked at me let alone spoke to me once. Nonetheless, she was efficient and did a wonderful job. The nail tech who was doing my acrylic was very nice and we had a great chat. I showed her a pic of the nails that I wanted. She proceeded to quote the price but said the price would vary $5 or so based on the length of the nail. I told her I wanted all the designs minus the rhinestones. After we established the length she said the price of the acrylic would be $35. I agreed and she proceeded to do the service. As she shaping and filling I was impressed with her ability. My pedi was done and as I sat down the nail tech steps on my foot I have to go back and get my toes redone. Following that I paid and gave tips before the paint and she has the audacity to say if I wanted to additional paint on two fingers it would be $5 additional dollars. Mind you I had been showing this lady the pictures from the moment I walked in. Now she wants to charge more. I was livid! She begins to go back and forth with me until another nail tech tells her to just paint my nails it’s shouldn’t be an additional charge. I was upset because she was insinuating that I was ripping her off and I was a thief when we had agreed on the price of the service and I had already paid and tipped her. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will not ever go back. I’ve heard good things about them but I was treated like an animal. Oh and to add insult to injury my nail broke less than 24 hours.
