II recently has Knee Arthroscopic Surgery and highly recommend Fayetteville Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. The Physical Therapist are all caring individuals that take your recovery serious and put your needs first. I have had nothing but great experiences every time I have had a PT Session there. Courtney Webb did my initial consult and has me on a road to recovery. I wont say it has been without pain, as I have learned to work to pain, not through pain... In my opinion the facility and staff offer the best recovery for anyone that is in need. I look forward to a positive outcome.

I am really pleased to go through therapy for the total hip replacement at Fay Ortho & Sport Med. I definitely have m favorite therapist because she is detailed and pays attention to my form (how I do the exercises) but also Jeff is very detailed and very detailed in his explanations. I have a mantra in my head heel to toe that one of the therapist told me ( I cannot remember her name but she is petite and carries a smile) and as I walk this mantra follows me hahaha! A great team overall.

This is my first time in physical therapy. I am very happy in this therapy team. The attention is first class, both the employees and the physiotherapists are very attentive and professional. Fayetteville Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is the BEST! All of the Physical Therapists were great but Ryan was by far my favorite! From the first day of physical therapy to graduation, he encouraged me to give my all and work hard to get back to my normal activities. Knowing that I love basketball, he took time to work on basketball drills with me outside to build my knee strength when I was ready. He shared strengthening activities for me to work on at home. I was able to graduate physical therapy 2 weeks early due to all of Ryans great work and gradually return to basketball. Thanks so much Ryan! Youre the best!

Fayetteville Orthopaedics is the best place in our area. The doctors and staff are very thorough, professional and friendly. Dr. Barrie performed my surgery and told me everything to be expect, which was right on point.I am now in occupational therapy and my therapist Brooke is amazing as well. She is very professional and friendly, she explains the what and why, she takes her time and is very gentle when having to manipulate my hand/fingers.I would definitely recommend Fayetteville Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.

This is one busy PT clinic! Everyone from the staff behind the desk to the physical therapists is friendly, courteous and encouraging. Every time I go to an appointment I see people everywhere smiling and having jovial conversation, including the patients.Conner is my physical therapist. He knows exactly what my shoulder needs to get better. He knows when to push me and when to let up a bit. He listens to my frustrations about my shoulder condition and has actual conversations with me about it. He helps keep me focused and encourages me when I feel frustrated and discouraged.I recommend this clinic over and over and over again!

Only been 2 times but so far very professional and caring. Ryan gives good instructions with each exercise and makes you feel you can do each exercise and motivates you to complete the exercise. By watching his interactions with other people shows he really cares.

The staff here is excellent. Great team of professionals. The services are superb, they are very quick in assisting the patients and are also very professional and thorough. Though in the PT department I’ve only had minimal interaction with the office staff, the little that I’ve experience thus far is that they do not hesitate in assisting and resolving any existing issue of the patients. Physical Therapist Mrs/Ms Brooks Burns is absolutely great! She is such a gem, very professional, warm, welcoming and caring. She’s seemingly such a gentle individual who appears to love what she does and is knowledgeable in the area as she should be. I have now been seen a few times in the PT clinic. All of the staff from the initial temperature check in, to the appointment check in, to the PT staff are all top notch. Lauren, Myrna and Gina are AMAZING! Gina is patient, kind and very knowledgeable about my injury. Lauren and Myrna were very helpful with getting my TriCare referral pushed through so I could begin my treatment process. I highly recommend!

This place is horrible. Have been trying to get a doctors note to go back to work for over a week and they just keep saying they will write a note and put it on the doctors desk.. AND NOTHING HAPPENS. They don’t try and help you at all! You can’t get any straight answers about anything. Can’t get anyone on the phone. Just so ready to be done with this place!!

As long as you continue with the exercises they give you to do at home you’re recovery improves substantially. The Therapists are very knowledgeable and helpful ensuring the stretching and exercises are done properly.

This is my 3rd time going to Fayetteviile Orthopaedics, and I have always had exceptional care. On this visit I met with Cody Ziegenfus in the Physical Therapy department. He was great! He took the time to explain all my exercises and answered all my questions. I would Highly recommend Fayetteville Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.

I was warned early on about this place by a former patient, but I believe in giving the benefit of the doubt. I regret not taking heed to that advice. I have been attempting to contact this place for 2 weeks. Today, after my fourth call for the day, I finally was able to connect with someone they had to hunt down. The receptionist ( I believe her name was Linda) was rude and unprofessional when I attempted to call to set up an appointment after being referred here by my physician. She advised me the person I needed to speak with was out sick and advised she wasn’t aware when they were going to return.(Someone by the name of Jackie.) She advised me Jackie was out sick only to turn around not even three minutes later after I took an opportunity when I could get a word in edgewise and explained my issue she placed me on hold so she could consult with Jackie (the same Jackie she advised me was out sick) about when I could be seen. She wouldn’t allow me to finish a sentence before she’d cut me off thinking she knew what I was going to ask and attempting to answer my questions, but because she wasn’t allowing me to finish my sentence she was answering a question I wasn’t asking. I never did get an answer to my question. If the receptionist are a reflection of the staff then I don’t think this is the place for me. Needless to say after trying to contact these people since the week before Thanksgiving, I won’t be visiting this establishment. At this point I will gladly start the process all over again and find another facility.

This facility has very personable and professional staff that are very efficient and competent...Connor did a great job working me through movements that helped loosen, stretch and strengthen my shoulder and prepared and provided a personalized, thorough set of exercises for me that have helped improve my mobility and lessen my pain. Dr. Barnes is the best surgeon EVER! He went over my x-rays with me and explained my injury in great detail. He was with me when I checked in for surgery and stayed with me throughout the entire pre-op procedure. He made me feel very comfortable, very special and very confident that he would take good care of me. After surgery, I got a personal call from Dr. Barnes to make sure I was okay and find out if I had questions. Connor Buck was my physical therapist and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He has the patience of a saint. When I told him that I couldn’t remember how to do my exercises when I got home, he gave me pictures and digital videos. He was always cautious not to cause me any excessive amount of pain. I am just finishing six months of therapy and I’ve loved every minute of physical therapy! Everyone there is amazing!!

This is by far the best doctors office we have ever been to. My son broke his arm twice this year and we chose to visit Fayetteville orthopedic this time and we have not been disappointed! Every staff member has been so kind. The nurses are amazing and Dr. McBrayer is absolutely outstanding! I am so thankful we chose this place.

I cut my hand and a tendon in June. I have never had a significant injury in the past. Dr. Berrie repaired the tendon and Matt was in charge of my recovery therapy (OT). Everything went well or better than expected. I am still getting better everyday and I am glad I listened to both of them. All the staff at the facility were great as well, from scheduling to reception to billing. My hand has given me enough trouble and I am thankful this facility made getting better as easy as possible. I will updated once OT is completed and my hand heals as much as it can.

I have had the pleasure of having wonderful physicians and interactions with many of the staff members both in the Ortho office and with Matthew Chase. I feel that my concerns and questions have been answered to where we work as a team in my health-care.

Called this morning many times. Left a message and even talked to a person to make an appointment. She said let her check the messages and she reassured me she would call back and set an appointment for my very urgent matter today. I told them not to worry about it that I would call someone else. The lady stated that since they were on the referral from the ER that I could not see anyone else but them. (LIE) I called Cape Fear Ortho, made an appointment, got seen at the appointment, scheduled surgery, and made it home. They were very good by the way. It was 5pm so I called Fayetteville Ortho to thank them for the call I never got back. Someone answered the phone laughing and joking with someone else and had to end that conversation to hear what I had began saying which was trying to address the fact I never got a call. I began by saying it wasnt very professional to answer the phone like that. The lady and I argued for quite some time and I told her well thats not even my issue I just want to talk to the office manager about not getting this call back. After being on hold for 10 minutes Ms. Lee answers the phone and I begin telling her about calling a few times and never getting a call back. Then how this lady answered the phone while she was in the middle of joking around and wasnt even listening to what I was trying to say. Ms. Lee never addressed the fact that I didnt get a call back, apparently that was fine in her book. However, she was a bit upset that I said the lady who answered the phone was unprofessional that is one of the happiest and best employees I have. Well, all thats fine but you still shouldnt answer the phone in the middle of joking around. But its okay I just wanted to inform the manager I didnt get a call back and that I found somewhere else. Ms. Lee said Im glad you found somewhere else and then she hung up. I didnt even get to address the LIE that I was told as to how i couldnt even visit anyone else. I wouldnt take my dog here for a broke tail bone. . . .I wouldnt know how to make an appointment obviously.

This place is awesome great care very knowledgeable and a very professional friendly staff. I never wait long for my appointment I really love going I’m always in and out on time and feeling better.

Horrible customer service. My mom went to the hospital on Tuesday and they were the physiciana on call. Ive been calling for two days and knowone will return my call. My mom is 70 and they have the paperwork but it hard to get someone go even schedule an appt with them.

Fayetteville Orthopedics has me on the path to a life better than I’ve had in years. I look forward to being able to walk, stand and move like I did years ago. I knew something was wrong with me, but never imagined both my hip joints needed to be completely replaced. Right one down, PT to go, next the left one.

Mary Margaret is very professional and makes you feel comfortable during the visits and doing the prescribed exercises. She is very helpful and willing to answer any questions. I do highly recommend her for any OT needs.

I was sent home from the hospital after an accident and a visit to the ER. I left with paperwork for a follow up appointment in 2 weeks with Dr Barnes at Fayetteville Orthopedics. Fortunately for me, Dr Barnes did not wait for the follow up appointment, he reviewed the medical records and thought it did not look right. The office called me immediately and asked me to come in the next day. The day after that I was in surgery. I very much appreciated the obvious professionalism of this practice and Dr Barnes. I benefitted greatly from their attention to detail and their concern for their patients.

Great Service and Environment

Dr. Dilelo is such a horrible orthopedic. He only comes in to “feel” my arm then I bring up any concerns or questions and he quickly answers him in a smart snarky way that is quick to shut me down he types up some information on the computer which only takes him less than a minute to do and then leaves with no explanation and no updates on my situation or x-rays. I also paid the consultation fee of $212 and on my second visit which was my follow up I had to pay an outstanding balance of $50 and I asked why they said it was because of some extra work done which I was not aware of. They directed me to the billing department which I have called plenty of times and no one answers. I have also had to call multiple times and leave multiple voicemails to reschedule an appointment. I am definitely going to look for another practice that will take care of me and dedicate their time instead of rushing out and having their nurses dealing with patients. I do not recommend this place at all they are very sneaky about how they deal with patients concerning your money and redirecting your questions and not answering you in person or on the phone.

Both of our daughters have now had Jennifer Narron to get them rehabilitated to get back to playing sports and she’s been awesome! As well as when we’ve had other therapist for their appointments! Our family highly recommends Fayetteville Orthopedics and Sports Medicine!

Ive seen Dr. Barrie and PA Dilello a couple times, and they are great. However, it is nearly impossible to get in touch with their scheduling assistants, particularly Dr. Barries. Of the ~30 times Ive called over the last six months, Ive gotten a hold of an assistant four times. And they never respond to voicemails, so dont bother. I ended up having to make a new patient appointment at a different orthopedists office for my most recent injury.

My 13 year old son was injured in a basketball game on a Saturday. Dr. Barnes and his staff were very quick to work us in on Monday and provided excellent care. Dr. Barnes was professional and caring, answering all of our questions. My son and I were very pleased with our experience here.

Had my left wrist repaired in 2015 and left thumb fused last Oct. Dr. Barrie did an excellent job on both, I have full use of both of them. Matt C. on the occupational therapy side is very professional and fin to work with. Everyone on both sides of the hall are very friendly and helpful. I had to have surgery on my rotator cuff once Dr. Mcbrayer started the surgery there was A lot more damage than we realized. The staff at Fayetteville Ambulatory was awesome the day of my surgery. I think they knew I was nervous. You see I have Congestive Heart Failure. My heart has a hard time beating. From beginning to end they were right there for me. Then I started my therapy. Miss Gina Cherico is my therapist she is a awesome lady. She helped me through my therapy exercises and was so kind and patient. Im 100% happy with their service and couldnt have ask for a better group of people to help me get through this. Thank you Fayetteville Orthopedic & Sports.

Courtney was pleasant, polite, precise and encouraging. Most attentive listening to my stories. No rush service here. Her explanation on my condition was fathomable and precise. She also provided me with additional computer knowledge which was not part of my testing. An enjoyable experience for a problematic situation.

I didn’t want to have to write this review. I have given the manager three weeks to get back to me and she still has not done so.I had a consultation at this office on November 4th for a broken hand that required surgery. At that time, I paid a consultation fee of over $200 for them to tell me that yes, they can do my surgery and that I needed to get it scheduled as soon as possible with Dr. Barrie. I called Dr. Barrie’s assistant the very next day, Thursday November 5th, to schedule the surgery and did not get a callback until the following Monday, November the 9th. When I spoke to Dr. Barrie‘s assistant, she let me know that they did not accept American Express (which I planned to pay with) and I told her I would need to figure something else out and call her back. I called her back the very next day on the 10th and left a voicemail. I didnt get a callback. So I call again on Wednesday the 11th and she answers telling me that they no longer have “time” to do my surgery. No explanation but that I would need to find another doctor. When I asked for my consultation fee back so I could take it to another surgeon, she told me I should’ve done the surgery sooner and it wasn’t their fault.Which clearly wasn’t possible because I couldn’t even get her on the phone. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She told me she would have a manager call me and hung up.(Come to find out, the reason they didn’t have time to do my surgery is because the surgery center where they do their surgeries was having air-conditioning issues. So they were having to reschedule multiple of their surgeries and basically just told me I was out of luck. THAT IS NOT YOUR PATIENTS FAULT.)No manager ever called me. So I emailed the manager explaining what had happened and asked for my consultation fee back at the very least.I received an automated email response saying she was out of the office but that she would be back the following Monday. It’s now been three weeks and I’ve still not heard from her. This office not only cost me a lot of money, (because I ended up having to do my surgery at a hospital instead of a surgery center) but they cost me a lot of time. My hand should have been fixed very quickly.With all of this being said, this review is specifically for Dr. Barrie’s assistant and the manager of this office. Everyone else that I came into contact with were wonderful. But it only takes a couple people to spoil an entire experience.I have now seen another surgeon that literally did my surgery the next day. If anyone is needing any kind of orthopedic surgery I highly suggest the Pinehurst Surgical Clinic. Specifically doctor Conti. He was compassionate, understanding, and most of all professional. Everything that you should be when you’re working in a doctors office.

My initial PT session went extremely well thanks to Cody. He provided very thorough explanations of my injury, my treatment and care plan. Cody answered all my questions and ensured I had a full understanding of the proper way to complete my excercised.

I have had the worst experience of my life with this place.PA Dillellos assistant especially.She gives me the run around when I call.Its been almost a month trying to get my medicine started for my osteoporosis started.My insurance has been approved it but she claims to never get their approval.I was told by my insurance that they sent it.I got mine and has all the info on it but she says they cant take that either.Got to find myself a better doctor.

My experience with Fayetteville orthopedic is one that I will remember for a lifetime. I was required by my job to attend therapy here due to breaking a finger at work. I was reluctant at first because I believed that I didnt need the therapy but looking back now I realize how important it was and I know that I would not have made a full recovery so soon if I didnt attend! The staff members are all very fun, friendly, positive, and willing to help you recover from whatever injury you have sustained. Thank you all for taking such good care of me and welcoming me into your family there, and thank you Brittany for all the hard work that you put into helping me get back to my regular duties! I have been coming here a long time an I had no problem whatsoever & now they switch me to a Dr name Dr Schaefer to talk about doing surgery on my knee and it’s the worst ever my appointment was at 2:30 why at 4:15 I haven’t seen the Dr yet & I have to be at work at 5:00 & make it worse I still have to go home to change into my work close. The office is 15 min from my house & my job is 25min form home if I only knew I should of walk with my work close. 😡😡😡

Chazzy is my physical therapist. She’s great! She puts you at ease and makes it so physical therapy isn’t quite so scary. Oh to be able to leave reviews in negative numbers....I would give this practice a -10. I am so upset about my experience today I don’t even want to address it. Looking over the other negative reviews I feel they have all honestly and accurately described my experience so no need to hash it out again. The older ones confirm that nothing has or will change with this practice. But I just had to post a review if only to say to any person thinking about making an appointment....believe the reviews and make it at another, better facility.

I have used FO&SM for rehabilitation several times in the past 10 years. I have always had good service and professional physical therapists who have gotten me back on my feet. I am currently rehabbing from a total knee replacement. The PT has pushed me and is not always comfortable, but the results are top notch. I am 9 days post op and I can get around my home without the aid of a walker or cane. They know what they are doing and they do it well.

Waited for almost two hours just to have an X-ray done on my daughters leg just to be stuck back in the same room to wait another hour to have the cast put on. This place is ridiculous.

My husband had complete shoulder replacement. Has had no pain. Staff is great.

This is my third time at Fayetteville Orthopedics and some how they have provided excellent professional treatment. I wouldnt go anywhere else they are hands down the very best!

Getting my range of motion is painful but Cody is very knowledgeable and assisting my with the treatment I require. Its only been six days since surgery I am happy with Fayetteville Orthopedic and Sports Medicine care.

Worst service ever. I went in to get a prescription for a knee brace I received from Dr. Barnes a few years ago. Since I lost my brace I need a new one. I explained this to them. I paid $99 and my insurance reimbursed me so I didn’t mind paying out of pocket. They made me wait 2 hours only to tell me it had been too long since Dr. Barnes saw me so I’ve got to schedule an appointment and come back in. And oh when you call no one answers the line or returns your calls. Oh and when I drove back up there to make the appointment his assistant still wasn’t in so no one else would schedule an appointment for me nor let me see another Orthopedic Dr. REALLY 😡

My appointment was at 4 pm, I arrived at 3 to be certain that I saw Dr. McBrayer on time. Why had I not been seen by 445 pm? This is ridiculous. The woman at the check in was RUDE. At 354 pm, I reminded her that my appointment was at four and I asked if I would be seen in the next 15 minutes. Her response “I don’t know when you will be seen, there are a lot of people ahead of you”.Obviously, patients and their time is not a consideration. This is an abomination. Patients matter. My time is valuable.

Mother is 88 years old. Came in early at 11:30am for a 12:00pm appt. 3 hours to be called back for x-ray, and still have not seen the doctor! My mom is falling asleep in her chair because she takes her nap this time, which is why we set the appt at 12:00pm. No customer service, no empathy, no explanation, other than yes, hes backed up. Backed up is maybe an hour, more than 3 hours is neglect. Last time we will be here. Lost customer, yet my guess is they will never notice. Shameful!

The operator was VERY rude when I called on behalf of my employer to confirm a billing request so we can PAY YOU. The billing voice mail provides two extensions therefore, I called back requesting the other extension with hopes to speak with someone. The operator which she stated her role a few times refused to transfer me & stated making multiple call wont get anything done faster. I explained the billing voice mail offered two separate extensions which means two individuals so I just wanted to see if the other person was available. She advised me rudely both lines were unavailable & hung up on me. This type of customer service is unnecessary for being treated so rudely for no reason. This happened today! I hope management read this feedback.
