I had the absolute best experience with Dr. McCollum! She is an excellent physician. She cares deeply about her patients and is very dedicated to her work! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for both my prenatal care and the delivery of my first baby! I highly recommend Dr. McCollum for any and all prenatal care and/or gynecological needs!

Ive never had such a comfortable and amazing experience in a hospital. Willow Creek hospital is very clean and very comfortable. All of the nurses that tended to me during my 2 1/2 day stay were just incredible. They were so friendly and personable. Learned my familys names that were with me right away. They treated me like an actual person rather than a patient. I weirdly loved being there and would have stayed much longer if Id been able to! Just a really great environment, Id go back and live there if that were a thing😄

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. McCollum! She performed my Paragard IUD insertion (I’m not a regular patient of hers) & I was so pleased with how she interacted with me throughout the appointment. Dr. McCollum’s first words to me after introducing herself were, “I see that we’re putting in a Paragard for you today—what questions can I answer for you?” I asked her to walk me through the procedure and she did so patiently, thoroughly, and confidently. Dr. McCollum was kind and didn’t rush me through the appointment, giving me time when I felt pain and communicating with me throughout the procedure. Though the appointment was brief, my experience with Dr. McCollum was one of the best healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. She respected all of my wishes, was clearly knowledgeable and skilled, and demonstrated genuine interest in my well being. Would highly recommend!!

I met with Dr. McCollum once after my awesome OB/GYN had abruptly left the clinic. Id just started infertility treatment for the 1st time in my life (Im in great health) and needed to continue with the medications and plan my original DR had drawn up for me. Dr. McCollum was 30 mins late, cranky, extremely unsympathetic, and left me feeling like a number. She did not welcome my questions which is really unfair to me as a patient. For example, I asked why she wanted me to take Clomid after a skipped period. Dont I need a period to ovulate? Her response was incredible. While rolling her eyes and tensing her jaw she responded: NO! You ovulate to have a period, not the other way around!! Really?!? Im a little smarter than that. She then told me to get my AMH levels tested. If the AMH is low then Im just wasting my money because I probably wont get pregnant. I felt she was giving up after knowing me for 3 minutes. When choosing infertility medical attention, I need a doctor who will ride this wave with me and not give up so soon. The outcome will be what it will be, but at least TRY!! I left Dr. McCollums office and immediately switched over to Parkhill Clinic.

Dr McCollum is a great physician. She was willing to see my out-of-state college student and coordinate care without any problems. It was a great relief to this Mama who was unable to be there. My daughters and I love Dr McCollum.

Alexis McCollum delivered my son at 37 weeks 9-27-2018. I am not happy with the early C-section delivery or the hospital staff at this hospital. When Parkhill left, so did the excellent doctors and nurses! The staff thats here now dont have a clue of whats going on! I would not recommend this hospital for anyone. It definitely needs to be permanently closed!!My son had a 11 percent weight loss by the time we checked out. The nurses pressured me the whole time to breast feed when it was clear that my son wasnt getting enough milk from my breast. I requested a bottle for 2 days, and finally got one on the 3rd Day! My husband and I were very pissed! This was a nightmare from the time we checked in until we left. Now I see why they have no patients and the parking lot is always empty. Im glad that my son and I made it out okay. Mercy or Parkhill is your best bet. Dont make the mistake I did by choosing this hospital to have a child. Had my 1st child here when it was Parkhill and it was excellent, but not anymore!! Very bad experience.
