Ms. Meredith was great but since she left my daughter who was doing great in school the past year and a half, even virtually . Shes been transferred to a new doctor who has changed her medication. She is struggling now. Why change her medicine if she was doing awesome on it?!

Being denied service over THEIR mistakes. it has now happed too many times. Confirming appointments, then sending out letters my daughter no longer requires service. saying i haven’t paid when YOUR staff didn’t put my payments into the second system. this is a horrible business.

Well ienjoyed this practice until Meredith left and they dropped the ball! I call in 1 time respectively my medication refill 72 hours in advance SO THAT I DONT GO WITHOUT IT! I even spoke to a manager who apologized and assured me it would be called in....thanks for nothing definitely not this centers best day!

Everyone has been absolutely amazing that i’ve spoken to at this office. Eric especially, he’s so personable and goes above and beyond to get you the help and care you need. I 10/10 recommend them! Thank you guys so much!

I dont know why there are so many terrible reviews, Ive had nothing but nice encounters since going here. Granted it has all been virtual, but everyone I spoken to has been helpful and nice. I believe her name is Dr. Meredieth? Anyways, shes improved my life 100%. Ill admit, my first appointment we didnt connect but by the second and third I feel very comfortable talking to her about my needs. Id recommend this place, well at least Dr. Meredieth. But Im sure there are others who are great as well, just my only experience is with her.

They were ok before COVID, they now did quick sessions, missed virtual appointments (if clients miss it or too late it’s an issue), no call back, you’ll wait online way before your appointment and they’re still late. I understand things happen but when it becomes a habit and my daughter is disappointed in not making her scheduled appointment that she looks forward to... that’s an issue

This place essentially does nothing to help with mental health. Their psychiatrist and counselors just give you the run around and don’t actually give you any real advice or tools to go about the real world. Plus they’re always late for appointments, I’m not waiting around for people that do nothing. It’s given me more stress than if I never went to therapy at all. If this is the basic standard for mental health we’re all screwed. Also forget trying to call the front desk to cancel an appointment, they have like 5 clinic and it’s extremely difficult to speak to a human being. Mental health resources need to be better because this is just sad.

I had an appointment in February that was not honored. today March 7, I called for an appt with my doctor and the male answer the phone says someone will call me in 3 weeks. My mother has passed away I told him I need help to talk to my doctor , he said someone will call in a few weeks and I should go to thr hospital f. This is sick and lacking compassion

I dont even want to give them one star, but its the only way to write a review. They didnt call me for my virtual appointment, and when I finally got them on the phone, they said the doctor had an emergency and needed to reschedule me. They claimed they tried to call me, but I had my phone with me, and they never did. They didnt care about how I felt, and were very matter of factly about my feelings.

They dont even get back to you. Shows how much they care and how unprofessional they are. I was willing to give them a chance, despite all the horrible reviews, but when they didnt get back to me over a week after filling out the online intake form, I see the reviews speak for themselves. Dont waste your time.

Great providers. I’ve been a patient for a year now. Does have high turnover rate but this is a military town. Most people know that bad reviews s are generally left by patients who are unable to get what they want. These are a great group of caring providers who have the welfare of patients at heart. If you’re going to advise the doctor on your course of treatment because your sister is in healthcare, just have your sister treat you and move on already. I’ve seen other patients come out angry for not being prescribed their drug of choice. Tells me they’re not pushers. Some of the front desk and the manager could improve. However, they have very competent and caring clinicians. Also, check out the number of reviews these disgruntled people make for other establishments. If you’re complaining about everyone, perhaps you’re the problem.

Yes I have a son who is being treated there currently for anxiety and depression, he’s only 13, 14 next month. He’s been going for about a year now but instead of getting to the root of the problem, like his mother, they prescribed medication’s. The counselor has taken sides here and has been told lies from the start of all this. She doesn’t know my son like I know my son. In fact the counselor is trying to keep me from my son, which was documented, for no reason. I think your counselor is being unprofessional.

DO NOT TRY TO SCHEDULE WITH THIS DOCTOR!!!Been trying to get appointment since February, daughter died, really need help, no help here!!! Been on hold over hour, haven’t spoke with human yet!!! Save your time, schedule somewhere you can get help!!!!

Providers might be very good here. I wouldnt know, because none of the front office staff can be bothered to return a telephone call. I sent an email appointment request thru their website. No one called me back for about a week. Of course when they did decide to call I was busy; never fails. I tried to return their call less than 5 minutes later & no one picks up. Lovely. Imagine having this much trouble trying to get a prescription refill or ask a question. Not worth it. Ill make the drive to Raleigh rather than deal with this kind of indifference and incompetence.

I have had fairly pleasant encounters with Dr. Matlack over the 11 years in Fayetteville.

I’ve been a patient here for a number of years. I’ve seen Dr. Matlack for years. While an excellent doctor, he’s very fast which I understand as he has many patients. I was referred by Ms. Jackie Hudson, PA-C who was my provider at different clinic. Once she came aboard, I became her patient again. She’s very competent and empathetic. Being prior military, I prefer a more direct approach that I’m accustomed to. She has it! I’m very happy with the staff and providers. Great clinic.

Help has been hard to find for me - Fayetteville Psychiatric Associates has been so easy to work with and they work hard to ensure patients are taken care of. Yes they are busy but they handle it well. From scheduling as a new patient to the the first appointment....my fears and nerves were put at ease by the respectful and caring staff. Thanks a Million to Dr Matlack and his staff.

I have a regular therapist with this group and have been a patient for almost 6 years. Ive had no problems. I have met Dr matlack he is also very nice.

I have a daughter that seeks treatment with this facility. After reading the reviews I know that I am not alone. The nurse/receptionist/ office staff is very rude, she does not want to listen at what is being conveyed to her, instead she likes to hear own voice.My daughter has been experiencing her psychosis since childhood. She ran out of her medications and was needing to have some called in, and since we just previously seen Dr. Madlack thought that would not be a problem, because after all isnt the patient the first priority.If this was something new to me I would have followed his instructions, but this is something Ive dealt with all of my daughters life.The hospital is not going to do a thing but prescribe what the doctor should have in the first place. Thank GOD for favor.The patient does not seem to be the concern.

I’ve been seeing Mr. Downs for several months now and he’s not let me down once. He’s always had time for me, listened to me, worked with me and for me to help me manage my issues. When the Haymount Institute failed me, terribly, he did everything he could to help. I know everyone has their own experiences, but I would recommend him to anyone.

Doctors are great. Counselors are great. Office staff makes many mistakes in billing and message taking. Phones arent answered very well. If you want anything taken care of properly by office staff, your best bet is to speak with Kanica in the Green Clinic.Prescription refill voicemail is hit or miss.

I’ve been a patient for a few years. In my experience Dr. Matlack is good at what he does. Mr. Downs has been outstanding for me. Very professional and very easy to talk to. My 1 star is being given because of an interaction with Jacquelyn Hudson. I had to call on a weekend for an emergency medicine refill (something that I have done in the past do to my work schedule)and she happened to be the on call that day. She was extremely rude and condescending from the start. She tried to equate what I am dealing with to what her husband has dealt with which to me is extremely unprofessional. I’m hoping to get a response from Mr. Downs today to help with my current situation but I will definitely be calling to complain about the incompetency and rudeness of Mrs. Hudson. She has no business being in her career field with the emotional range she expressed to me on the phone.

Lynett Davis is the worst therapist there. She talked one of her patients in to believing that his parents fight when he goes to bed and that his mom is to blame for his anxiety. If youre going to be a therapist to help children then dont make the problem worse, putting issues that doesnt exist into a childs head when they are already having issues with the problems going on in real life. She needs to seriously reevaluate her ways of helping children , will not be going back and am very disappointed.

Horrible service they care nothing about their patients u would of thought my counselor needed the session and not me worse place ever and will never return plus it has a funny smell in both buildings need to lysol or call a cleaning crew and also needs to do better on their customer service ladies get it together

Dr. Matlack has treated my son for anxiety and depression for well over six years. My son is unable to work due to his medical issues. Dr. Matlock did not document my sons issues correctly but he gladly prescribed multiple medications that caused a ping pong effect and now my son is on the verge of a total meltdown. My son was employed and taking low dose medicine for his issues. However, with time this doctor kept increasing the dosage and then prescribing several different medications over a short period of time. This has caused severe damage to my sons psychiatric well being and has left him worse than before Dr. Matlack began treating him. During our sessions my son expressed how he struggled with anxiety and battled depression. Dr. Matlack agreed and said he understood exactly what was happening and prescribed so many medications (Benzodiazepines) that left my son a partial shell of his former being. The documentation (doctor notes) states that my son was fine with low to mild anxiety. This doctor has done more damage than hell ever know. Lastly, if my son exhibited low to mild anxiety and depression then why were so many medications prescribed, Dr. Matlack?If it were possible I would give this business a minus one!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS FACILITY.I posted prior on their former Business page of; Fayetteville Psychiatric Associates. This business has since changed names and I can surely understand why. This doctor has no business prescribing medication, what he is doing to people should be a criminal offense. He has no idea how to switch mind altering drugs and has no desire to learn. If I could give a worse rating, I would. Dr. Matlack is a glorified pill pusher. L. Davis lacks professionalism and is just outright rude. Youd receive better mental health care talking to the homeless you see on ride to this office.

Green clinic is terrible and I don’t recommend it at all. Red clinic is great. If your insurance is accepted anywhere else, please don’t go here!!!

Mrs. Morris is sexist, rude disrespectful and cares NOTHING about your children. Then likes to cause issues with employment ESPECIALLY Military. She needs to be fired or have a serious attitude adjustment

Difficult office staff. Rarely answer their phones. Doctors are nice but it is a pain to get through their office staff.

Dr. Rucker has been my therapist for several years. It was a challenge finding someone I could trust and connect with, but I am so grateful that I found him. I was stuck in a terribly dark place for years and years. He helped me navigate my traumas and unhealthy thinking patterns and I can truly say that this man probably saved my life. I appreciate him so much and highly, highly recommend him.
