I have been going here since 2002 and I see all these negative reviews on here, but I want to let people know that this is one of the only doctors office where you see the same people every time you come in. The only new staff is either due to them being hired for extra help or front office but I have never been to an office and seen the same people for so many years so that to me shows how he treats his employees. If you dont know Dr. Lazarus he can seem intimidating but he also deals with a lot of people seeking narcotics and has to make sure they are there for correct reasons. Dr. Wallace is awesome and always makes you feel comfortable while speaking with you. Whenever u go to office for appointments it is a long wait because there are so many people there to see them but they spend time with each patient as long as needed never feel rushed when its your turn

I apparently didn’t read the reviews before scheduling an appointment at this location. Today is August 31, 2021. My appt was at 10:30 with Dr Lazarus. At 11:30 I was still waiting to see the dr when the power went out. They continued to call everyone back except me and I’m assuming it’s because I was a new patient and I could also assume that it was because of something else. At 12 noon I’d had it and decided to leave bc this type of treatment I don’t have to endure. I have great insurance and I can go just about anywhere but I chose this place because they had an available appointment in the very near future. As I was requesting to reschedule I looked over and saw the sign in log and at least three patients that was seen came in after me and were scheduled to see the same physician. I told them to reschedule but I wont be coming back there. They obviously didn’t value my time. Hopefully this helps someone else to be aware before making an appt with this medical group.

Absolutely the WORST! I spent almost 2 hours in their office. Most of my visit was with the Physician Assistant. She asked me the same questions over and over! When Dr. Lazarus FINALLY came into the room, he was there for all of 3 minutes. He asked me a few questions, looked in my eyes, said Hmmmm....and told me the PA would tell me the plan and then he walked out of the room. No diagnosis. No explanation of what he thought may be the issue or concerns. NOTHING! A waste of time and money! Dont go to this facility!

One of the best Neurology office that I have visited since moving here five years ago. The front line staff have excellent customer service skills, they are very pleasant respectful and it shows that they are about quality care.The nurse also has excellent skills very professional , pleasant , excellent interaction skills very thorough nurse ,she too cares about quality care for the patient.Last Dr. Lazarus very pleasant, experienced and Dresses to kill !When Dr Lazarus walked in the exam room I was looking down at my phone, I saw sharp shoes and green socks, lol ,I put my phone away and looked up, I and saw this tall man Dr Lazarus , he had on green socks, green pants green shirt and a light beige suit Jacket!He was dress to kill ,he a senior like myself!I was so impressed, to me that’s an indicator that he care about himself and his patience !Ive been through a lot finding good practices.I’m so happy that I found this practice, I’m about quality care , dignity and respect for others !Keep up the good work!This office deserves a GOLDEN SEAL

The doctor is great, but they are always running very late. Be prepared to wait an hour past your appointment time before you are seen. This includes telemed/virtual appointments. :(

Dr Lazarus’s Nurse (Gail ) is rude and unprofessional. Today she advised me to pay for a prescription out of my pocket because she doesn’t have time to do a preapproval . It’s sad that I have to find another doctor because of this nurse repeated unprofessionalism.

My husband had an afternoon appointment earlier this month. When we arrived at the office, all of the staff were wearing masks. There was a piece of plexiglass at the counter where patients could sign in for appointments, talk to staff, etc. However, it did not cover the entire counter. I was surprised by this. The wait was not long at all. At some point while I sitting in the waiting room, the staff member at the front of the counter, took off her mask. Then a man came in with someone who had an appointment and he was not wearing a mask. He started talking to this staff member. Neither of them were wearing masks, they were not talking thru the plexiglass and they were not 6 feet apart. I could not believe this since we were in a doctors office. It made me wonder if all of the staff are taking this pandemic seriously. I was disappointed.

My name is not Kenya Tomlinson. My name is Kenyata Tomlinson and have been for 37 years. I will not check for an appointment. Smart mouth show off!!!! Im offended by that. Then wrote it on my envelope for me to pick up!!! I know that between writing one of them she saw that my name was KENYATA correction: I figured that it wasnt intentional. You guys are very busy so I do apologize to the nurse.

I would give Zero stars if able to do so. Do Not take anybody that you care about to this office, they are inconsiderate and incompetent. You will spend 3hrs of your day waiting in the lobby for your scheduled appointment that lasts 5 minutes. If you ever need a copy of a file or a doctors signature they only do that one day a week as it must be very difficult for them to do on an everyday basis. There are other options locally that provide much better services.

Outstanding Dr and staff. Took wonderful care of me and listened to my needs attentively and accurately. Just be prepared to spend time there. Hes booked up and spends whatever time is necessary with each patient, so time runs over. Great Dr. Thank you all!

If l can give him less star i would. This man is a theif lair and crook. He has no idea what is going on with my health. I ask him whats wrong with my health..his answer(itscomplicated complicated. A title Dr is not for him..in fact l will call him by his first name..out of respect..l would call him something else. Do yourself a favor. DONT GO TO THIS NUT!!#

Dr. Lazarus was very kind and effective to my adult child who needed his care and clearance to have surgery. He is Duke trained, our family considers that a sign of a physician with quality training.

Horrible experience. Called in advance with new insurance a wk before appointment. Arrived to be told it was over a hundred dollars AFTER asking and not getting that information. Treated horribly by Lisa and Kelly. Very unprofessional. Very unimpressed. STAY AWAY.

I visited this office in May 2019 after being misdiagnosed by Henry Piedmont that I had a stroke! Dr.Lazarus ordered a carotid artery test. My PCP need results, doctor will not release results unless I come to Dr.Lazarus office and pay a 60$ copay! I have never been treated so horrible in my life. I’m filing a complaint with the medical board! Doctors are not about patients anymore it’s all about how they can drain your pocket dry and you still have no answers as to what is going on with you! The insurance companies are no better everyone down to the pharmaceutical companies have their hands out this is ridiculous healthcare is a JOKE! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Dr. Lazarus and Wallace (PA) are extremely caring and do their very best to get you relief. They also stay very up to date on the latest treatments.

Dr. Wallace Green is the best doctor I have ever seen. He has been here for me threw everything I have been threw seens I have quit my pain pills. He always has a smile on his face and has very good bedside manors.😊

His staff mgr is a d@#! Fool. They are so inconsiderate of people health. All they want is money. Then not to long ago..had a staff rep to call me for an appointment. I thought to myself they are stupid

Great doctor but the wait time is stupid long. Every visit I have to sit in the waiting room an hour or more after my scheduled appointment time before Im put in a room. I would give five stars for care, but my time should be valued just as I value their time.

From the beginning of my first appointment I noticed that the Staff was polite, professional, and attentive. During my appointment it was obvious that Dr. Lazarus cared about me as a Patient, because 1. He asked questions, 2. He really listened attentively to my responses, and when he needed more details, he asked even more questions.3. When he began the physical examination...he didnt rush through it as Ive experienced many times--with the Im moving quickly, then on the next Patient type of Exam. 4. Once the physical exam was completed, he discussed his plan for next steps with me, and patiently answered all of my questions.The result of this approach to Patient care is that Dr. Darlingtons care has resulted in a huge improvement and/or complete absence of my symptoms and concerns.

Very poor communication in office we called gave our insurance name they said didnt take it even though they had told blue cross they did and that is how we got this doctors name but then next day they call us and that they wanted to make our apt and I said you said you dont take our insurance and she said no we do so we make an apt the earliest apt was a month away so now 3 days before apt they call and say sorry we dont take the ins so we have to cancel so we waited a month and now have to find another doctor so very unprofessional if you have an apt double check and triple check they take your ins so u dont wait a month then have to start over specially if your an elderly person maybe a blessing not having this doctor since no one seems to know whats going on

Wouldnt recommend going to this practice for anything. Very arrogant doctor who doesnt listen to patients. He Wrote a prescription for medication 3 different pharmacies had never heard of let alone could fill tried calling the office to get corrected got answering service at 2:15 , 2:30, 2:45 & 3 PM. As a result I spent the entire weekend in terrible pain guess these guys dont live up to the hypocratic oath they swore to uphold. Terrible evperience will never go back

He is seeing my friend and I just wish I could find him another Alzheimers doctor, my friend is getting qirse and ut seems like he doesnt care.

Dr Lazarus and Wallace, with different styles, both listen to me and genuinely strive to restore me to the brain health I enjoyed in earlier years. The staff is 2nd to none. I have seen many doctors and have never been treated as well.

I absolutely love Wallace Green and Dr Lazarus, they both genuinely care about their patients from what I can tell, but I give three stars because the office staff NEVER answers the phone for patients, and they hardly ever call back about any issue. I pay a lot of money to this office and the least they could do is call back about a prior approval so I can get my mediation filled.

Dr. Lazarus didnt listen to me at all. He was sarcastic, arrogant, and hardly spent any time with me. I always felt rushed and I felt like he was just prescribing me meds without really listening to me. He also made me feel really stupid about side effects that I was feeling from Topamax - like it was just a placebo effect and it was just in my head. He also messed up one of my prescriptions so I wasnt taking a medicine I was suppose to be taking for like a month until I called wondering about it... The nurse on the phone also made me feel stupid until she realized what happened and I never got an apology or anything about their mistake. Its also very frustrating because EVERYTIME I call I get voicemail and have to leave a message even just to schedule an appointment. Plus im still having headaches after going to him for months. Very unhappy with their service and with Dr. Lazarus.

HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNERS. HE DOESN’T LISTEN TO HIS PATIENTS.. AVOID DR.LAZARUS HE’S THE WORST DR I’VE EVER BEEN TOO!!
