Dr. Hodges is amazing! Hes a very sweet provider who takes the time to sit and listen to me. He may be busy, but he never lets it show. My care with him has been amazing. The office visits are usually very fast and I get called back quickly. Front office staff are also very sweet. This practice is a breath of fresh air compared to other providers Ive seen in the past.

I was warmly greeted as always when I entered. The nurse was ready for me right then! She is a delight! With her warm smile and kind demeanor she explained the procedure. She was quick, professional, knowledgeable and kind. It was completed and the doctor soon arrived. She too is warm and friendly. The entire visit could have been scary, but it was not. This is the place to go!

Cape Fear Cardiology is superb from check-in to checkout! I had two fantastic experiences so far and look forward to a third. Dr Bhandari is a really nice doctor who was helpful to me in many ways due to his advice about meds to take and meds to hold (in my situation). I will most definitely stick with this doctor. He is very cordial and friendly.

Dr. HODGES, has been my heart Dr. For over 3 years. During these 3 years he has went out of his way as Dr and Friend to help me with my CAD and other Heart Problems. He has done a wonderful job. He worked with my meds and got them as perfect as he could get them. While encouraging me to lose weight, which worked. Lost 52 pounds and I feel better then I have in years. This after 3 Heart Attacks, 4 stents and multiple small strokes. I would highly recommend Dr. Hodges to anyone, looking for a Dr. Who really cares. Has a great personality and knows how to get the right point across. I regretfully have to give Dr. Hodges up and find another Dr. Only. Because we came down on orders to move from Fort Bragg to another base. I also came to think a lot of the Fayetteville Area and will miss it. Take care everyone and stay Healthy. Awesome cardiology clinic! Everyone is extremely nice and efficient. I see Dr. Klang and in my opinion, he is the very best cardiologist you can get!

I have been seeing Dr Klang since my heart attack in 2010! He has given me the best care!! I had triple by pass when I had heart attack because of the blockages he found. Have not had no problems with heart since!

Very quick as far as seeing the doctor. He spent quite a bit of time with me and seemed to get a quick handle on things. All testing done was handled very professionally and thoroughly. Would definitely highly recommend.

This was an outpatient diagnostic echocardiogram at CFVH that required IV sedation as Dr. Bhandari had to insert the sensor down my throat. I was asleep 2-3 seconds after propafol was delivered into the IV port so there was zero gagging. All involved were attentive, knew what they were doing, and made sure I had minimal discomfort. I cant say enough good things about the outstanding care I received.

My appointment was for the purpose of picking up a heart monitor. I arrived early and was seen on time and I was quickly given the necessary instructions along with the monitor. I am always treated extremely well here and while I was seen by a different person, the experience was again all positive.

From check-in to finishing my appointment was the best experience I could have had at a specialists office. The best part was Dr. Bhandari and his attention and willingness to answer all my questions.

First visit. Checking in and then seeing the medical assistant and then Dr. Ginn and finally checking out was flawless. Great staff and doctor.

Dr Bhandari and his staff have been so responsive to my needs. They were instrumental in saving my life and in making sure my recovery went well which it has. Dr Bhandari is a great listener and explains medical terms, issues, conditions and treatment in an easy to understand explanation. I can’t recommend them more.

It was a great experience. Check-in was quick and orderly and was taken to an exam room minutes after arriving.

Michael Hodges M.D. has been my Cardiologist about ten years and I have been very comfortable with all my interactions with Dr. Hodges. Something came up and I called his office on a Friday, he saw me the following Monday morning and ordered a routine blood test, an echocardiogram, and a stress test. I have an appointment soon to see him and discuss those results and get his recommendations with regard to any intervention.

You only have one life to live. I do the things I can to stay healthy. The things I can’t, I trust Cape Fear and Dr. Hodges to care of. It gives me peace of mind to work with people who are competent and who care.

Fourth appointment with Dr.. Hodges...I was really upset when I arrived. Unexpectedly, Murphys Law was crammed into an hour prior to my appointment. Staff members were receptive, listened as I vented, and were reassuring and calming.No long wait in the waiting room.Triage went smoothly and I continued to calm myself as reflected in my BP & HR and even the scale was calibrated. I lost 8 lbs.No long wait in the exam room... No white coat for Dr. Hodges. Hes the first cardiologist (in 25 years) to treat me who doesnt look as if he needs a cardiologist. He looks healthy and seems to be practicing what many doctors preach...PMS: Physical, Mental, Social awareness for a balanced life....Therefore, I perceive that my care isnt just reliance on medications and procedures.Dr. Hodges presents himself as medically, scientifically, and technically adept and thorough; as an effective communicator; and as a physician not just interested in the process, but also interested in me as a person...and the relationship between my PMS attributes and their effect on me cardiologically. Body, mind, spirit need to be in sync in order for one to be as healthy as possible.Dr. Hodges is attentive and does not bury himself in a computer. He establishes eye contact, asks questions and notes my responses. He encourages my questions, comments, and concerns. Dr.Hodges even carefully observed me as I demonstrated what I was doing when I experienced a multi-systemic episode that resulted in a hospitalization.My father was 53 when he had cardiac arrest, was revived, had significant oxygen deprivation, and consequently lived for 10 years equivalent to a ten month old baby.My brother was also 53 when he had cardiac arrest. When he was discovered during a police wellness check, he had been dead for 9 hours.Common denominators? Genetics, lack of appropriate medical intervention, smoking, acute Atherosclerosis, and two different doctors-- one a cardiologist for my Dad and my brothers DO--who both attributed their patients angina to anxiety.Im 66. After much consideration, I got weary of the inconsistency of care I received from my previous cardiologist and the turnover of PAs. One PA, in particular, generally attributed my cardiac complaints or med side effects to anxiety. After 2 heart attacks and a collection of 7 stents, I dont think anxiety was the sole cause of my symptoms. I didnt like the fact that the PA dismissed my concerns. I didnt like the fact that having expressed my concerns to the office manager (of the prior practice) that the issues could not be resolved.Last year, my husband was referred to Dr. Hodges. I was impressed with their ease of interaction. My husbands care he received from Dr. Hodges, while in the clinic, after angioplasty,, and during a follow-up appointment was never hasty.. After each encounter, we felt that my husbands needs had been met.I have no regrets that I changed physicians. I brought all my baggage with me to Dr. Hodges. He is aware of my global picture. I am confident that I will continue to receive effective care from Dr. Hodges and therefore, live as long as possible with as much quality as possible.

Ive been very satisfied with Cape Fear Cardiology and especially Dr. Klang and Mr. Miller. Recently I had a new problem and they worked me in the next day.

Dr. Ginn is an excellent physician. You know how you go to the doctor, youve filled out the form with what is wrong, youve told the nurse what is wrong, and then the doctor comes in and asks, because he truly has no idea, Why are you here? That isnt Dr. Ginn.I have seen him about four times over the last five or six years. He remembers everything or reads your chart thoroughly before coming into your room. He wants everything to be ok for you and for you to have peace of mind. He is empathic, reassuring, caring, and concerned. His bedside manner is excellent.Dr. Ginn tells you about all the options, in case you become Dr. Google, but tells you what his opinion is. And frankly, you dont have to be Dr. Google because he is just really smart, but VERY down-to-Earth. My dad is a physician and my mother is a nurse practitioner, so I am almost always Dr. Google, but I really trust he knows what he is doing. I am really glad I found him. Out of all the options, I feel I really found an excellent cardiologist.

Fast courteous service

My wife & I saw NP Miller for our routine follow up appointments. We received professional care and support from NP Miller, our nurses and the administrative staff.

Staff and Dr.Bacon were very professional ,listen to my concerns .

Appointment was on time and care was professional.

The situation that happen is very sneaky to get people to have to pay for services they will feel obligated to pay due to them getting services approved after the visit and machines are given to clients with out knowing the cost of rental of it. The insurance companies are not called until the cardiology presdure is done what if people don’t have the funds to get it? It poor services and I will pass it along to anyone I come across.

Ive been coming to Cape Fear Cardiology since 2009 since Ive moved here from New York. At first I was skeptical about the level of care I would be given, however, that fear was soon alleviated. My first doctor had actually studied under my original doctor in New York! Very small world. Although he moved on from the practice, and another doctor (Dr. Kalra) has come and gone, I have received excellent care here with professional people. Jennifer, Stephanie, and everyone elses name I cannot even begin to remember (Im sorry) have been amazing to me. Im a lucky guy!

When I first started going to see Dr. Depaola I had my hopes up. She seemed to care at first about my health care. After seeing her for about 6 months every appt she seem to care less and less. She likes to use big words and not explain stuff so you can understand. After a stress test (and I had to pay again to get the results) she said not much has changed so come back in 6 months I asked her about the symptoms I was having and that was still there her response was you should go to your family doctor! I stated to her I did and she sent me to my cardiologist. She said well maybe you should go back to your family doctor. So I then asked her if there wasnt something totally obvious then instead of trying to find the problem she just refers me to another doctor? She looked at me and said I will show you the exit and come back in 6 months. So if you have an obvious problem she might help but if she has to find out the problem she will refer you elsewhere. I do not recommend her.

I went in to talk to the doctor about a condition I have had my whole life. She was kind and to the point and helpful and prescribed me medication to try. After trying the medication for several weeks I knew it was not helping and called asking for a new prescription the doctor advised sticking to the same medication. The medication continued to not be helpful and I had two unfortunate episodes because of my condition while on this medication. Each time I called back and was not able to speak to my doctor or her nurse, only to the call service or to the receptionist who would relay the doctors messages. Very disappointing. I asked to be put on a new prescription and the advice and direction I was given by the doctor via the receptionist made me feel as if they had not even bothered opening my file before making offhanded suggestions. The advice given was not even applicable to my condition and either they seriously messed up some paperwork or they did not bother to take the time to care for me as they should. I will be seeking out a new cardiologist.
