Show us your papers or ELSE!Heads up: Katie the receptionist (an exceptional gaslighter/blame shifter) has a mega hard-on for control, stemming from an obvious inability to grapple with personal issues. The manager and I had a talk previously after Katie behaved in a condescending and defiant manner months ago (which I did not tolerate). Oh well, everyone has rough patches. But youll want to avoid dealing with this one, as it seems to be an ongoing issue that wont be resolved.This morning, I get a call from Katie (joy of joys!) telling me I must SHOW MY MEDICAL RECORD (aka proof of vax status) or wear a mask for my appointment that was a mere 2 hours away. That was not a part of the contract I signed (nor is this current policy across all ME locations). Considering that this is privileged information, it is a breech of contract to demand it or punitive masking as a retroactive condition of service. My background is as a licensed medical provider, and I find lectures from disgruntled secretaries rather ludicrous on this subject.Ive been with them for 8 years and always tipped excellently because I care about my therapist and am grateful for the care and effort they provide. So any rebuff in the owners reply assailing my character wont hold water. If Im an unreasonable individual, I wouldnt have been a coveted client for all these years and tipped consistently in the top tier.This franchise is owned independently of other local ones, with the absentee owner being located in Nashville. Im sorry for my therapists sake, but these people are not worth giving your money.There are plenty of places to get massage work that dont require a slave mentality upon arrival or interacting with toxic people.

ME is nation wide. Membership has advantages. As I age and cannot take PKs. Massage therapy is best thing.

I have been trying to have my membership transferred from my previous clinic to this one since December 2020. It is now April 2021. I have NEVER talked to the clinic administrator, Danielle, despite calling repeatedly and being told that multiple notes had been left for her to call me. I have now called corporate to complain as I feel that this is my only unexplored course of action. This is completely unacceptable.

I signed up for a 6 month membership at the beginning of 2020. Then covid happened, and was unable to use most of my massages due to the governmental shutdown. I was told on my last massage that since I had a 6 month membership they would not charge me anymore. Since I moved out of state and far from a location, I wouldnt have the ability to use my credits. Well, months later (after a cancellation request and speaking to the manager) Im still getting charged. Not to mention the 3 months that they charged at one time because my debit card was replaced. Not sure how they even got the new debit card number.Sadly, I really enjoyed the massages I got from Zach. However, this is an unprofessional business practice. I will no longer sign up for a membership with them, and once my credits are used, return and give them my business again.

I was really unsure what to expect getting a massage for the first time and because of my experience this wont be my last! The girls up front made me feel right at home and the hour massage made me feel like a king. I cannot describe how much I love this location! The manager even checked on my experience herself. Easiest membership they ever sold 😂

Its the massage therapist that makes this place. I like deep tissue massages and Diana delivers. If that is what you like then ask for her.

These people have literally been stealing 60/month from us since August. When we called in August to say, Hey, we dont have a membership with you. Give is our money back. We got an apology and a it wont happen again. When it happened again in September they said we needed to fill out a letter to cancel our month to month plan (that we never had) which we got back to them on the same day. Then yesterday, I drove to the store to talk to them about it happening again. I was told the manager would call me in the morning. I tried to call the store at around 2PM and the manager still has done nothing to fix it. Do NOT give these people your CC info. Very shady business practices.

Absolutely will never recommend Massage Envy to anyone. The last two appointments I made, the therapist didnt show up. I received complimentary massages for the trouble of driving 14 miles one way for nothing, but when I try to use them, they want to charge a massage to my membership before I can use the complimentary massages. Essentially they have created a no-win feedback loop where if you have unused massages, you can never actually get those massages.The clinic manager there when I get her on the phone will not take a moment to list to my concerns before she begins telling me what I will and will not do at Massage Envy. She then criticized me for not understanding that I have a membership. I know I have a membership.I also know that I have three unused massages that I want to use before I never return to Massage Envy ever again.As I looked for a place to put a review, I found whole websites dedicated to negative reviews of this business. Wow. Im feeling silly for not looking at reviews before I got myself into this mess.

If I could give this place a ZERO I would. The receptionist was snotty and rude. Went in on Sun for my appointment and they didnt even have me on the schedule! So I left came back on Monday and they have me a card for an 1130am appnmnt and then tried to say I was late my appnmnt was for 11am when it was NOT. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE me for 60.00 for 22mins instead of an hour. They said they would charge me anyway BUT they canrt I cancelled my card. I am reporting them to corporate!! How dare they treat me like trash when I was paying them 60.00 an hour!

I asked Rob for special attention to my back as I have had three spinal surgeries which has caused a muscle in my upper back, in between my scapula and spine, to be in a constant spasm. WOW! Did he ever do a great job in following my request. When I exited the treatment room, I telephoned my wife, who was shopping, that I was finished and she could pick me up. Robs massage was so relaxing that I fell asleep three times in the reception area while waiting for my wife.Everyone there was deeply concerned about customer service and I can say that without fear of retraction as I used to teach and preach good customer service (exceeding the customers expectations) as I was a store manager and traveling supervisor for Wal-Mart.Great job, Massage Envy because I will be a customer for life and I will be one of many who will spread the word about the wonderful job that you provide your customers.

My husband had booked an appointment for this weekend that he was surprising me with. Your staff called to reschedule. Staff on the phone was rude so much so that I canceled the appointment. Will never go here and will never recommend this place. What is so hard about being kind? You get further in life with a decent attitude. Place has zero regard for customer service.

My husband and I have been going here for almost two years. We have only once had an appointment get lost as another person described, but they rectified the issue promptly and gave us free extras for the inconvenience. They are friendly, professional, and always a GREAT massage. I highly recommend them!

So today I booked my first appointment from the membership that I purchased. When I got there this morning the girl behind the counter was the rudest individual I’ve ever spoke to in my life. She informed me that the person could make it in today. That she called this morning at 8 AM to confirm that he would not make it in. They didn’t even call my number I called somebody else’s number. Then she said oh well you Must have gave us the wrong number. Massage envy might consider hiring people with customer service skills. I will be canceling or transferring my membership from this location

I made an appointment for 1:00pm with Rob. Arriving 15 min. early, I was told I had no appointment. I was massaged by Sue. 20 min. into the massage there was a knock at the door telling her she was with the wrong client. Her specialty is migraine treatment, I was there for deep tissue. Sue did the best she could, yet for the money, I felt ripped off. Is this the type of treatment I have to expect after signing a year long contract? I called the Turkey Creek site and was told the owner will call me. Interesting...buyer beware of this disorganized business that only wants your money.

My BFF took me for a massage on my birthday this year. It was a great experience and I have nothing negative to say!

I am a massage envy member in another state. When I knew I was coming to tenn for a business trip I scheduled an appt for a massage. The front desk clerk, michelle, was clueless and frankly an idiot. She could not find my memebership, was not clear about appt and didnt even ask for my phone number for confirmation. I arrived for my massage and she was not helpful, did not offer to show me to the waiting area. She appeared clueluess. Vince, my massage therapist, was wonderful. He listened to the information I provided and gave a really good massage. The check out was once again with michelle. She ignored 2 of us, argued with another client in the lobby, proceedEd to gosssip about the same client to another staff member in front of two of us waiting to check out, then checked out the gentlemen next to me even though I had been waiting longer and argued with him about how he was going to pay. Honestly, should I decide to relocate to tenn, this will lot be my location of choice and will seriously consider cancelling my membership. This location needs tons of work!
