I was very impressed at how the staff in this store reacted to my mini meltdown over a missing product. They went above and beyond to try to locate what I was looking for and helped us throughout the store. We ended up spending twice what we were going to and walked out extremely happy. Ill be back, sans the meltdowns. Thanks so much!

I must have been mistaken for a celebrity. While I was being helped by two ladies in the store. I was approached by another lady asking if I need help. I cant think that they are that kind, so Im going to have to say the profiling needs some work. The woman that helped me was kind, I did buy the product we discussed. I spent over a $100.00. My intentions was not to buy, but to review the store. Overall I was asked to be helped by five store associates within 15 minutes of being in the store. That 15 minutes included check out. The store is clean and seemingly sanitized. A new store policy prohibits you from touching items. Yes, they dont want you to touch anythin. Which is odd for such a store. Bath and Body Works sanitizes items after being touched. Customer service needs improvement, however pricing and selection are respectable to other stores.

My wife and my girls love this store. They come here at least once a month to buy their make up. The attention is good and the staff is always ready to help and always very friendly. My girls are always happy every time they visit this store.

My trip to Ulta wasnt exceptional. I knew what I wanted and a salesperson helped me find it. I was taken somewhat aback when she handed me the item instead of allowing me to get it for myself. In these days of COVID-19, one cant be too careful. At the register, I was about to purchase a blusher set and the cashier talked me out of it by saying it didnt look good on her. Id tried the product before and it looked good on me. But that negative vibe played right up on my hesitancy to make an impulse purchase. Its interesting to be in a store where the salespeople discourage customers from buying. After I thought of it, this happened after I declined to purchase her suggestion of the buy 2 get one free item. I found it bizarre that she did that. I got the item I wanted, but didnt come out with a good feeling because of that weird interaction. Ill probably go back and get the blusher tomorrow. I hope I get a cashier with a better attitude then.

Dont like employees cashiers are slow and rude. Never accepts the coupons they mail out. No reason to join the ulta program. Its the worst never get any rewards. Overpriced. Do not recommend

Im not sure if its slow shipping times or what, but there were so many things that were just totally sold out. :/ Availability in-store didnt match what the website showed. They still had a decent amount of brands and a few sales.

Eyebrow wax and tint. Savannah is fabulous! Highly recommend her! Friendly, knowledgeable and very customer centered. She helped me with brow products and other items. LOVE HER! Everyone was friendly. Got a bunch of goodies with my purchase-maybe because I got spend happy ;)

The employees at this store and rude and disrespectful to say the least. I have had more than one bad encounter at this specific store. Im just now wondering if all their employees hate their job. Let me begin, I went there 1.5 months ago looking for a pretty popular item that ive seen all over the internet. When a worker approached me asking if i needed help she took me over to the ulta store phone to find the product. Before looking it up she changed her mind and proceeded to tell me that i can look it up myself on the ulta app. Wow what great customer service. I then went to go check out and heard the same lady and her co-worker talking bad and laughing at me. Wow even better customer service. I confronted them but they seemed to not have a care in the world. The original girl that told me to help myself insisted said that she had to report our incident. Ok, weird I must say. Today, I placed a curbside order and had 2 items I wanted to exchange.. I went in and had 3 workers trying to return these items because apparently I needed to sign into my rewards account when placing my order online. Funny, seems like theyre making up their own rules because I didnt see a required spot for this online. They all then told me id have to receive a store credit for my items I paid for on my credit card. THEN they told me i had to wait 24hours if I wanted a refund. Wow what a terrible system. I had my receipt and order number but you guys failed to return my items literally 30 minutes after purchasing??Never the less, I will NEVER be returning to this terrible ulta store. Worst customer service ive ever encountered! I cant believe these workers are allowed to even be on the floor ... They might be better suited stocking shelves!

If I could 0 stars, I would. I was getting color matched for a wedding, and the sales clerk straight up grabbed a Caucasian concealer from Juvia’s Place. I had asked about seeing a Nars concealer, but she insisted I try Juvia’s Place. Ulta has no concept on helping dark skin and people of color. I also over heard the staff gossiping about a customer who wasn’t wearing a mask and calling her “Karen”. Complete lack of professionalism. Go to this Ulta if you wanna look ashy.

Okay I have to update my star rating since they started carrying the ordinary. Still dont know if theyve gotten any better answering their phones. I havent tried since the last time seven months ago.

Huge selection of makeup, hair dryers, curling irons, perfume, you name it. I do really like this place. You can get lowered end makeup or go expensive. They offer a lot of skin care products too. My only issue is every time I recall being there, the line is long and I have to wait 3-6 minutes to check out, which is annoying.

Has just about everything you would imagine. Priced right. Easy returns. And always a coupon available online. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I had an appointment at 4:30p today. When I showed up, a stylist who I found out was my stylist was finishing up on a client and stated isnt your appointment at 5? She then confirmed it was at 4:30p by checking the computer. She stated she was just finishing up and left it at that. (She did not invite me to sit down or say anything else after.) She took 20 minutes to finish this customer and began socializing with other customers and another employee while I sat there waiting. She never once said Sorry about the wait or Thank you for your patience. If this was me and I knew someone was waiting on me I would have hustled to get my area cleaned so I could assist the next customer. Since I was nervous about someone new cutting my hair, I decided to take this as a bad sign and to save my money. If anyone knows of any good salons in the area... I stopped coming in because of continuous horrible customer services experiences, I decided it had been a while so Id give it another chance. Once again I was repeatedly dismissed whenever I asked for help. One women refused to help me find a product, she just gave me a card for free shipping and told me just to buy it online. Every trip just ends in so much frustration.

This place is huge! The associates are helpful and friendly, and the store is clean, well-organized and always fully stocked.

Went in for a specific mascara today and was immediately greeted and pointed in the right direction. One of the employees also suggested a dupe for my favorite perfume and i am absolutely pleased with my time there today. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

The cashier Alicia was really nice but the store didnt have some items that it claimed it did online. We ordered the items and it took 3 iPhones to get the order to process. The third try was the last one because they only have three iPhones so Im glad it did work. Im also glad the cashier and my kids were patient.

Overall I like this store and can usually find everything I need. Some employees are nice and helpful and others are kinda rude. Gina in particular was extremely unprofessional and treated us like we were an inconvenience to her. She seems like she’s rushing to get you out the store as soon as she can and comes off like she’s not very interested with her job. It also gets frustrating when your constantly asked if you need help, and are followed around the store because they suspect you of stealing just cause your dressed more comfortably then other days. I’ve definitely stopped shopping in store a lot less because it gets exhausting feeling like your being watched from every corner. There have been times where I’ve had a bag full of stuff to purchase and then end up returning everything because of these reasons. I like this store I just wish employees were a bit nicer with customers and more approachable.

I had an appointment at the salon for a blowout and the stylist did not show up. It was my wedding shower day and I wasted over 45mins driving to the salon, waiting to be helped for them to look for the stylist, and then driving home because there was no backup stylist. Had to then wash and do my own hair (in 20mins) before going to my wedding shower. I understand there are emergencies, but if the stylist wasnt to work on time and had scheduled clients, a call from the manager or someone would have not inconvenienced me - I could have stayed home and had time to do my hair.

Absolutley my favorite location! The workers there are so helpful and the store is very well organized. I dont even bother going to the other locations.

The store and the staff are both amazing (95% of the time). There was a time where an employee just did not acknowledge that I was there. When I was about to go up to her for help, she decided to pay attention to the lady that walked in the door. Still, definitely worth 4 stars.

They have a large selection. It is somewhat organized, definitely could be cleaned up a bit though. Have never been to another ulta to compare it to but I have to guess with there reputation they can not all be like this.

Refused to accept my coupon which was a valid coupon. Associate was rude.

Friendly staff - good customer service, clean and well arranged store. I asked for one hour facial skin treatment and they made it clear that provide only 45 minutes of service where previously I have had the same thing on Telegraph road and they provided full 60 minutes service, so that was only disappointment. Overall skin treatment was very good.

I love Ulta, its my absolute favorite place to be, but there is a lady there which I think shes a manger with short hair, has the worst attitude and rude answers when asked certain questions and I see her there a lot and always try to avoid asking her because her altitude bother me and shes not willing to work in a make up place because her altitude is not welcoming. Make up store employee must be friendly and welcoming to attract customers to buy more make up not being rude and make you want to leave. I gave 4 stars because I love ulta not the employee.

I love ultra! They had a great clearance sale so I got me a exactly what I needed then when I went to pay I got an additional 50% of the already clearanced items!! It was great.

Sometimes I enjoy shopping at this store when Im in a bind or need something ASAP before traveling. This Ulta location carries some notable, higher-end brands that are usually available only in department stores or Sephora. Staff (Ulta) are not always helpful, and consistantly lack proper knowledge about the brands theyre supposed to sell.My most recent visit at this Ulta location was surprisingly pleasant. I purchased over $500 worth of cosmetics by IT, but only after I was approached by a seasoned and knowledgeable sales representative from IT Cosmetics. She was so nice! She offered to help me find (and, discover!) Soulutions for my skin concerns using samples of their new It products on my face. I was like, Wow! I bought 2 of everything!Great customer service really makes a difference in sales, and Ulta could use some extra help in this area, especially on the sales floor. Ulta Sales staff dont acknowledge the valued customers who shop in their store, and often times turn their heads away or continue the chit-chat convos with other sales staff. This store also has loss prevention officers who make the entire shopping experience feel intrusive and stalkerish. No thanks.IF Im in Ulta its usually due to the fact that its close by to where I live and theres no time to drive to Sephora. Unless Im in a bind for time and need a product ASAP you wont usually find me shopping at Ulta.

Staff here on my trip were very friendly, I was only in the store 20 minutes and I was ask very politely st least 5 times if I was finding everything ok, or if I needed any help finding anything. My check out experience was great also, the lady (girl to me) yold me how many buty points I had, when they expire. At my local store I have NEVER had them do this. Great job ladies, keep up the A+ service

I had bought myself some new lipstick. They have good quality lipstick.

The store seems generally well kept and clean but Ive noticed theyve lacked in inventory several times I was looking for something they carried. Staff and service is hit or miss-- some are very friendly, helpful and willing and others seem complacent with the fact that they dont know and therefore cannot help.Otherwise, I like the location and will continue to shop here.

Dont go here unless you want to be put in a bad mood or defeated by lack of character. I went here a couple weeks ago and was treated horribly. It all started when I asked for help and an employee was saying her shift was up and walked away. I totally get that its time for you to go, but you could be a lot nicer and direct me to someone that could help me.I talked to another girl who was really nice, but mislead me with the Redken promo. I was told that free item was not available in store, but they can ship it to my house when I talk to the cashier.Third round of confusion starts now... The cashier said she couldnt do that. Ok, why was I told that then? The manager was plain rude. So honestly, I felt like it wasnt meant to be to purchase there.I went to the Westland store. I was treated fantastic from the get go like anyone should be treated. People should be treated like people not annoyances. They even told me that Redken was having a sale and it was Buy 2 Get 1 Free. Farminghton Hills didnt tell me that. Hmmmm...

Rude.I dont know how this location stays open. The girls are consistently rude and on top of their rudeness they have the nerve to be homely. What ever happened to smiling and greeting the customer? The checkout staff needs customer service training and makeovers. The floor staff is weak.
