I highly recommend Farmington Manor. My father was there only a short time, but they showed him abundant care and were kind to the whole family. Their care was professional, thorough, and respectful of the patient. I really appreciated their service from the up front staff to the medical, nursing, and physical therapy staff who directly took care of my father.

Horrible facility. Rude staff threatened my 82 year old mother. After 2 days horrible service, I brought mom home with the lefy side of het body bruised snd purple. Mom cried begging to get out. What a frightening experience.I would not recommend sending a DOG here for rehab.

I have no idea what place Pure Leaf visited but it was NOT the Manor of Farmington Hills. My Mother in Law has been in this facility for the past 4 years. We go there DAILY and NEVER have experienced anything like the fantasy Pure Leaf described. There are no drug dealers or prostitutes any where near the Manor! Its in a neighborhood setting right next door to a Church in Farmington Hills. Is the building old? Yep. Is it unsafe? Nope.My Mother in Law has been in several facilities due to medical issues and this has been the BEST facility so far. They have exceeded my expectations in providing quality care for my Mother in law. They are attentive and know not only who my Mother in law is but what her medical issues are and are always ready to address any issues that come up up to and including rushing her to the hospital then calling us when the need arose. Patient care is first and foremost in their daily activities. The physical therapists are some of the most caring and hard working people Ive ever met. My Mother in law can be a challenge and not once have they lost patience with her. They have always been caring and compassionate.I have recommended other people place their loved ones who need 24/7 care and rehabilitation here and every single person thanks me for the recommendation. I have not and would not have hesitation about continuing to recommend this facility.

EXCELLENT FACILITY! As an employee, I cannot say enough good things. The Administrator and Director of Nursing set the tone and example for top notch quality, knowledge and care. Although, the building itself may be older...the compassion and VIP treatment to each and every resident, is worth far more than an extravagant building. This is the kind of place to allow your loved one or those you care about to stay, short or long term. I have seen many great acts of kindness here in this facility. They truly make each resident feel like family. Even Medicare recognizes this facility as being one of the best in Michigan.

Certain staff members are very rude! My relative there doesnt like the food and hardly eats. The rooms are very small and shared between two people. Four people share a tiny bathroom. Some rooms have no air conditioning. I would not put my loved one there under any circumstances!

Their all running around with each other. Not noticing the patients. Fire trap: patients sitting all around doorways in halls. Halls are very small not big enough for two wheel chairs at once. Floors are always wet. Very dangerous. Needs major repairs.

Crappy place to send your family members. Building is very drafty due to the fact that the windows are old. Nurses are incompetent and have bad attitudes. Building is old and dirty. Hard to find the driveway to the building when it is dark. The building is underlit. The workers are thieves. They steal from each other as well like as the residents. They still do prehistoric paper checks, which you have to pick up, ABSOLUTELY NO DIRECT DEPOSIT. Nurses and cnas do triple doubles, the are overworked. So when you ask them somebody for assistance they are grumpy because they worked 16 hours. Lunch room is the size of a walk in closet. Call offs happen every single day.
