So, I have a loan through capital credit union. The process of getting the loan was quick, easy and awesome. However, Andrea, who is the president at the Veterans location isnt the best loan officer. She acts great when she wants to get your money! But, whenever I stop into the branch, she literally dodges me. I think its because she is embarrassed of how many times tellers have left messages for her to contact me in regards to my loan, and voicemails I left, or emails and SHE NEVER RETURNS THEM! She always tells me that she didnt get my email. I verify if its the correct email. It is. She literally is not a great addition to CCU. Im sorry, but this lady probably has a lot of on her plate and i understand that, but when my loan is due in the middle of the month and I call you to ask questions in regards to before the month even happens, or days before my loan is due, you never return my call. Its absolutely ridiculous. Some family members also have loans through Andrea too and claim she does the exact same thing. They even had a meeting with her and she forgot about it. If you forget you have meetings, or forget to call your members back, or youre so busy, then maybe you shouldnt be in the position. Most times I walk in, she is getting a coffee and talking to co-workers. Yes, you certainly must be busy. Thank god for Sabrina at the other location. I called at 9 am and she returned my phone call by that afternoon, and she isnt even my loan officer. I will be dealing with Sabrina going forward, but if higher management could read this, please honestly understand the frustration she had caused over the past several months. I wont get any lower interest, and I appreciate everything people have done here, but maybe hire a new loan officer that communicates with clients. Its unprofessional and doesnt leave a good taste in my mouth for future business. If I do refer people to CCU, I tell them to work with Sabrina, and literally say dont work with Andrea. Hope this review helps others to go to Sabrina.

I had a wonderful experience at the branch. Taylor Lugert was incredibly helpful and friendly. He had superior knowledge of the credit union’s products. I will be coming back for sure!

Banker and Branch Manager Corrine Hager lied to me. We were forced to open a savings account in order to get a car loan. I asked if this savings account would have any sort of monthly fee, annual fee, low balance fee, or any other sort of automatic fee. I was told no. After we paid off the auto loan, we started getting charged $5 low balance fees. I was never told that would happen, and I had asked. I lost the full $25 balance to these undisclosed fees. Its my own fault that I wasnt watching the statements more carefully, but I expected Corrine to be honest. Putting a single paper that discusses fees inside a massive info packet is not an excuse to verbally lie to me about potential fees. She didnt tell us about the $75 loan application fee either, not until we were signing the loan documents. I feel deceived and personally offended. This credit union is dishonest. I regret doing business with them, and will never do so again.

Love banking with CCU! They helped my husband and I get our credit eatablished 5 years ago and now getting a loan is quick and easy! We work primarily with Jim who has always been more than helpful and available to answer our questions. When we go to the branch for whatever reason we get greeted by name which is always the best feeling. We wouldnt ever think about banking anywhere else!

Jim is a huge help with getting me setup with a consolidation loan. Was very good at explaining my options and the best way going forward.
