After several searches for a skin esthetician in the Portland area, I am happy to have visited Saving Faces for my first professional facial by an esthetician. Jacquelyn was amazing! Two weeks after my first facial and following her advice on a skin care routine and products she suggested to use. I have noticed visible differences with my skin, my breakouts have reduced and my some my acne scares as well. It was over all a pleasant experience and I cannot wait for my next facial treatment. WARNING: About a week after my facial and extracts with her I developed a serious staph infection on my face that required hospitalization. My dermatologist said it’s highly likely that she didn’t sanitize her tools properly between clients (disgusting) because this sort of thing isn’t common without acquiring it somewhere. I was referred to jacquelyn by a friend who is one of her regulars and unfortunately had a really really bad experience. After what happened I would never go back and tell everyone considering seeing her to stay far far away.
