Well kept club with ample room. Tennis courts could use resurfacing.

Pool is well kept, well loved, and supports a good community of people. Recent investments in landscaping, redecorating and remodeling of the clubhouse, and in the outdoor furniture make this a low key but solid place to spend a summer. The youth sport leagues offered are excellent, incredibly well supported by volunteers, and provide an excellent alternative to traditional summer camps.

Went to visit for a dive meet. No chairs. If I had been told there were none, I would have brought my own. Reeks of mildew. The pool was full and 2 of the 3 lifeguard stands were empty and they were allowing all pools to be used. Not safe. Wont be back.

This neighborhood pool and tennis club is a very family oriented fun place. There is an abundance of activities available to entertain kids off all ages (from 1 to 101). The minnows swim team (under 6) is the best investment in strengthening your little ones swim skills you can make... bar none.

I’ve been a member of SHRA off and on over the years and it’s been ok. But this year they have the laziest guards. They have REPEATEDLY closed the pool for “thunder” that miraculously only they hear. They just called the pool closed for thunder and the pool next door, Sleepy Hollow Bath & Raquet still had people in their pool. Weird how thunder is only “heard” at SHRA. Also, in years past, SBRH has stayed open past Labor Day if the temps are still high. SHRA never takes that kind of courtesy for their patrons. You get what you pay for so looks like I’ll be paying more at SHBR to actually be able to use the pool.
