To sum this up some what briefly… My mother has tested positive for COVID and is experiencing symptoms. She called her doctor to explain her symptoms and ask for therapeutics to help fight the virus and recover. Her doctor told her there is no science supporting any therapeutics out there and if she needed help to go to urgent care essentially telling her she is on her own and get help elsewhere when they are her PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER. Needless to say she will be finding a new primary care provider and I am writing this on her behalf because she is too nice. I would never allow anyone in my family to let this place “provide care” for them. Be aware.

Being in the medical field, I understand that mistakes happen and in general am very understanding. I have never written a bad review but due to the level at which my situation has been mishandled, I feel the need to relay what happened here. I had to switch insurance providers which caused me to have to change practices mid-pregnancy which is not ideal to begin with having loved my previous practice. I decided to go with Truesdale thinking they would be next best and it was a terrible decision. I had my records sent over and was told they would call me to schedule an appointment once they received them which they never did. Knowing that Covid has slowed everything down and having just been seen by my previous practice, I didnt stress too much about not hearing from them and called a couple weeks later, but I was told they were not able to see me for almost 4 weeks which at 27 weeks pregnant is not ideal. Though I was unhappy, I agreed and rearranged my entire work schedule to accommodate the appointment due to their limited availability. When I arrived at the appointment I was then told it was canceled and they did not notify me because, despite having spoken with them several times and having confirmation that four years worth of medical records were sent to them, they claimed not to have my phone number. I was very upset but I rescheduled regardless, giving them the benefit of the doubt. After leaving, I called to ensure they did in fact have my medical records which they did not even though I had confirmation that they were sent over from my previous practice weeks earlier. So I then called my prior practice and had them resend the records, and made sure to confirm with Trueadale that they did in fact receive them. After that confirmation, I received a phone call to get a brief history before my appintment that was in several days. The person taking my history was shocked to learn that I was 32 weeks pregnant even though I had just left the office very obviously pregnant and had spoken with 3+ people within the office about my situation when scheduling my initial appointment weeks earlier and rescheduling my appointment that same day. The person taking my history then asked for my records, which at that point had been sent over multiple times. So this practice scheduled my initial appointment without any regard or heads up to anyone about what the appintment was for, which would have left the provider I was supposed to see in the dark. I have not even seen a doctor within this practice but due to all the mistakes on the front end, I do not trust this practice with the health of myself and my developing child. Hopefully this review will help to warn others and alert this practice that there are clearly issues that need to be addressed. I am disappointed because while working at Charlton Memorial I heard wonderful things about Dr.Lee and other providers in the practice.

The receptionist was rude and needs a new job, she seemed very carless and miserable, working in the health care community you need to be professional and have compassion/love what you do. On the other hand the lady that gives the covid screening before the flu vaccine was also rude my father asked where we were supposed to get the vaccine and she answered with a here but said it as if we were dumb.
