Most of the time its a great experience. Had a few what seemed like newer people perform some uncomfortable sticks (been donating for years) but you gotta learn somehow. Last visit left me a bit unhappy as the person was unwilling to let me sit for a few minutes after battling rush hour traffic to let my heart rate drop. Standard procedure is to let patient wait at least 5 minutes after activity to take heart rate which I did not get. For being in such a crucial need of my blood type youd figure theyd be more accommodating...

This was my first experience donating, and my body didnt react well. The ladies there took great care of me until I felt well enough to be on my way. Great experience with this facility.

I adore the staff at this Red Cross. They are friendly and efficient. They remember the regulars even if you are only once a month. It is a beautiful building. With lots of sunshine and windows, it make donation even more pleasant
