This salon has gone so far downhill. The girl dyed my hair bright red and I had to get it stripped and recolored. Horrible. Can’t believe they’re still open !

Called the salon during business hours, which I verified the day prior, and no answer. Then went in to ask a question and seen people just standing around chatting. Unprofessional in my opinion.

Scheduled appointments ahead of time telling them what we wanted. Got there and I told the lady what I wanted. The color didnt come out right. The highlights are not visible. My hair is brassy. We pay a lot of money for our hair and Ive got to have it fixed somewhere else. Im furious. I definitely will never go there again.

If the people hadn’t been so nice this would have been a 1 Star. I set an appointment for a balayage and cut. I set it online and it even gave me the option to put it on my calendar but when I showed up at noon they told me that the girl didn’t show up until 1. So if you include the hour I had to kill before the appt because of that error I was there 6.5 hours and I genuinely wish I never went. My hair looked better before. All I wanted was to look cute for my birthday and now I don’t even have the money to go somewhere else and see if it can be salvaged. It’s the first time I’ve been back since my favorite girl left and I honestly don’t think I will be back. I’m so disappointed and embarrassed to have to wear this hair in public.

It is sad how unprofessional these stylists and the Human Resources dept of JCP really. Apparently a lady named Shannon Kelly made a HUGE LARGE oopsie on a client and lied to HR about the said claim assuming she said “I did nothing wrong” a client paid for a bleach root touch up didn’t check said client. Client checked her own hair. Her hair later was coming out in clumps while another stylist was giving her a deep condition (of course stylist giving deep condition isn’t at fault) HR better get it together. As consumers we have rights to make claims about unsatisfactory service. As consumers we expect prompt, professional, and cleanly service and this JCP salon can’t even get it together. I have no idea if and who reads these reviews but you’d be better off at a fantastic sams.

Horrible experience! My 9 year old son was afraid to go to school with his haircut because of how bad it looked. Everyone we saw told us they didn’t like his haircut. The lady was extremely rude and asked my husband why he didn’t cut it himself! I am so upset I can cry!I think 1 star is considerably generous.

I have tried this salon twice. Once with my husband. He wanted a haircut an hour before they closed, scheduled it for twenty minutes later. When he came back the only available hairdresser decided she was done for the day and he would not be able to get it cut.The second time I took my two sons. Neither of their hairdressers did as the pictures indicated. And the one named Sandy didnt pay attention to anything I asked her to do when she asked for specifications. She was so concerned with what it would look like un-gelled she gave him a terrible 90s skater boy cut. Those were her own words. When I asked her to fix it she got annoyed and said, Well looks like youre getting your moneys worth today. Well, no I didnt, because the haircut still wasnt what I wanted! Its hard enough to get kids to agree to get their hair cut, then when they have their heart set on a style these ladies refuse to pay attention to, it just makes it that much harder. In the end I took them to The Hair Saloon where the bad cuts were fixed!

Made an online appointment for my son to get his hair cut. When we arrived and the stylist (Sandy? She was quite unhappy) was told she would be cutting his hair she yelled out I just did a kid....now mind you my son is 11 and is no trouble at all to cut. I asked if there was a problem and the reception girl replied no.... all the while the stylist is saying No the person Im cuttings name starts with an L... I said yeah Im Leanne and I made the online appoimtment for my son ...she said Oh, well you should have put his name. Again I asked Is there a problem because it seems like this is a big deal ....no response from the stylist...the reception girl had to answer no for her...Was never offered to wash his hair...just had him sit all the while her acting absolutely put out for having to cut his hair...I wouldnt suggest anyone get their hair cut by that lady...maybe she should retire and give the world a break from her terrible demeanor!!

Went to get a haircut 15 minutes before closing time and 5 employees were sitting around doing nothing. Asked for a haircut for my 4 year old son and got turned away because they were closing soon... Its terrible that they would turn down $15 to give a little boy a 5 minute haircut. We will not be coming back to this location.
