Stopped for an overnight on the way home town the Badlands. Very clean campground, had very clean bathrooms, paved circle around the campsites, on a lake, and had a very nice playground and mini golf and volleyball court for the kids. The fire pits had the flip grates, which we really like. Would stay here again absolutely. Came in around 8p and still had an escort to our pull through site. The whole experience was so pleasant I had to take the minute to write the review. At $45/night for full hook ups, it was awesome. Class act.Only thing I didn’t get the chance to ask is - why no electric scooters?? Finally a campground with a paved road and the kids couldn’t use it - they were a little disappointed. I’d also like to see the store beefed up a little bit - mouthwash, yogurt, milk, butter, portable propane, gallons of water, etc. We stayed mid September to it could have been end of season, but the essentials would have been nice. Thanks Flying Goose for the hospitality!A&A from WI

If I were looking for a camp site I would drive past others to get to this one. By far the best maintained facility we have ever stayed at. Hospitality was second to none. Sites are large and spacious. Seasonal residents were welcoming and super helpful with a slide out we had trouble with. It’s a long way from home for us but we will be back for certain if we are ever in the area.

Such a wonderful place run by wonderful people! We stopped here for a two nighter on our cross country trip and had a great experience! The campground is spacious, on a lake and we loved kayaking, swimming, riding bikes, tackling laundry (okay, love is a bit strong here…but it was necessary!), and our kids had the best time with the playground/swings/mini-golf. Facilities are clean and above par. Highly recommend!

Found this little gem of an RV spot just by pure luck! We’ve been traveling in our RV for almost 3 weeks this summer and this was by far the nicest RV Campground we’ve been in! Big shady trees, easy pull thru spot. All the convenience you need. Big plus, its on a lake, with canoes and kayaks available. Can’t wait to come back!

Oh what a gem!!! We traveled from PA to Utah straight through & we are now heading home stopping to camp every night. This is our favorite stop so far!Beautiful camp seems like an oasis as you drive in, friendly people all around, lots to do, quiet, amazing lake, a great price too! We are definitely coming back to spend a few days here! The pull through rv site we had was perfectly level, wide spots & space between rv camps made it easy to pull in & out with our large vehicle & travel trailer. Tons of shade but no trees in the way of driving or damaging our rv. They had 2 dump sights on location as well.Clean facilities all around, a cute little shop with souvenirs & some retail items(a little of everything)Nice picnic table & they picked up your garbage daily from your site. Volleyball court, pontoon, kayak and canoe rental as well as a playground & mini golf. Didnt see a dog park area but we were too busy playing golf & checking out the lake to area. Thanks for the great night! We will be back!

First impression, looks nice but oh those sites up near the office are packed together like sardines. I sure wouldnt want to be in any of those. The campground appears to be mostly for seasonal people. When I walked in to the office, it was like walking in to Cheers. A table full of people in the office all stopped talking and stared at me. Who were they? I dont know. A staff member behind the desk said he would guide me to my site. There were seasonal residents darting all around on golf carts, so when a different staff person appeared in the road in a golf cart, I had no idea if I was supposed to follow him or not.Roadways through are TIGHT if you have a big rig. The pull through site is plenty long enough, and on this side, they are spaced well enough apart, unlike the other side, where they appear to be nearly touching each other. I dont know what those people did to deserve those sites...The price was fine for a full hook up pull through site.Wifi doesnt work on any of our 6 devices. There is no cable connection. No electric scooters, hoverboards, drones, and fireworks, but plenty of electric golf carts darting around. Im not sure why the rules against scooters and hoverboards, except this place gives off a kids arent really welcome vibe. Those darn kids and their rock and roll and their hoverboards, rrrraaaahhhh! The tetherball is flat, no kids are playing on the playground, the beach is a far walk away.It feels like there is a club here, and the folks passing through are not members. As if putting your RV in one place for the season somehow makes you cooler than driving it places. Supposedly there is a camp store somewhere, but Im not going back in to Cheers to look for it. The place gives off a pretentious vibe, one that it hasnt earned.

After traveling across the country for the last 5 weeks and staying in a variety of RV parks, our night in the Flying Goose campground was a wonderful experience. Due to a long travel day, we arrived very late - long after check-in hours - but staff was able to send us an online invoice which could be easily paid by Apple Pay. Even nicer, they set out orange cones to guide us to our site, which would have been hard to find in the dark. Nicest of all, the site is right on a lake with lots of trees - even between the RV sites! Such a nice change from so many of the barren RV parks we have stayed at.

The campground was very clean and well manicured. The buildings were kept up and also clean. The owner was super friendly and we spoke to him numerous times while we sat him around the campground. The beach was clean and nice, there was a separate area for the dogs to swim and play. Overall, a great experience. We will go back and recommend to friends.

We stayed here on our way from Ohio to a South Dakota vacation in a Class C. We liked it so much we stayed here also on our way back home. Its the best campground in all aspects that we stayed at over the course of many trips/years. Fun Fact: Its about 30 miles west of the Jolly Green Giant statue located at Blue Earth, Mn.

My family and I would NEVER camp there ever again! Theyre rude people that run that campground and everyone there are treated like children on a fieldtrip! I would recommend RJs campground instead and it is located only 7 miles away from Fairmont Minnesota. Also, RJs has a swimming pool and hot tub. Also their attitudes are much better. Need I say more?

Fantastic campground and friendly, helpful staff! Laura was awesome. Kids & dogs would LOVE this place ... and adults, of course.) They have everything you need and more: swings by the lake, swimming, mini golf, tetherball, little shop (in the office,) full hookups or water & electric for RVs, clean bathrooms, showers (w/ HOT water) and laundry. The grounds were meticulously landscaped. This place was one of the best campgrounds Ive ever stayed at ... and Ive been camping for decades. I highly recommend it!

This place is awesome! The owners are extremly friendly, helpful and welcoming. That was our first night with our RV and they helped us figuring out some questions we had about the RV. The campground is clean, nice and quiet and with many amenities. They have a late check-in policy which allows you to pull in late, that was really helpful too as we made it there after 9pm.I would definitely recommend going there and will go back if I have the opportunity to.

We stayed here for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. This is probably the most manicured campground we have stayed at. Lots of recent improvements and beautiful grounds. Great staff too. The interior roads are paved as is the entrance from the highway, so no dust. The only thing that was annoying was the constant cruising around of electric golf carts from the many seasonal people that are there. And I mean constant.....and many are speeding. They seem to be all electric, so when you are out walking, they sort of creep up on you. It puzzles me that people cant seem to still when they camp.

Accidentally drove into here looking for a park with a good shade to eat something I purchased at Arbys. Had no idea it was private property but a young man approached and informed me that it was and was also nice enough to offer directions and recommendations to some parks near by that I could visit. Gotta admit I was a little embarrassed cause I was asked to leave but I have to say he was pretty nice about the situation and I even got the chance to get a selfie before heading out. Also got the chance to see some of the site and saw enough to be able to say it was indeed beautiful and clean as other ratings indicated. Also the people in Minnesota seem to be very nice, happy and welcoming so thats always a plus. Of course at that moment I didnt feel welcomed because I was not a camper nor a paying customer but that is totally understandable being that it was my mistake for driving into private property. Also the fact that I was approached is a good thing because that says alot and shows that keeping their facilities safe for the campers is important to them.Like I said in the beginning, I accidentally drove into this place therefore with all honesty I have to say I didnt see the whole facilities nor stayed there but from what I saw I have to rate it 5 stars and would highly recommend this place. Maybe on my next visit to Minnesota Ill make reservations.Just wanted to share my experience.God Bless.
