My child and I have recently started therapy at compass point. Each seeing a different therapist. We have both been to multiple therapists in the past. We have only been seeing them for a short period of time. They have both been by far the most amazing therapists we have ever encountered. They both seem to really care about us in this time of need and helping us get the treatment/tools that we need to help cope. Just AMAZING!!!!

I starting seeing Kasandra (Kassey) David November 2020 after suffering with trichotillomania and OCD. She has helped me trememdously with exposure therapy, habit reversal and cognitive behavioral therapy. I have gone 60 days without pulling thanks to her help (and obviously my willingness too). Her mindfulness skills she has taught me has changed my life forever. I cannot reccomend Kassey or Compass point enough to my friends and family. If youre hesitant, take this as a sign to sign up for your first virtual call. I promise your life will change forever!

Received counseling through myEAP thru my employer. I used 3 of the 6 counseling sessions offered and stopped attending because the counselor was no help, then a couple of months later received a bill for $300. Contacted MyEap and myEAP resolved the issue with the billing department. A few months later, I received another bill from this facility for now $405 dollars and I left a msg explaining that I shouldnt have to pay for this bill and I never received a callback. Now, I receive a letter that my account is now sold to a collections agency! I need answers as to why I have to pay for a service that was offered for free through myEAP. I provided my authorization number and was told that I didnt have to pay. If this doesnt get resolved, then I will be taking legal action. Do not use Compass Point!!!!!!

I really liked Patty the DBT therapist but I just don’t feel like the program did much for me. Also, having a child and working full time made it very difficult to complete the homework assignments required to attend the class. I ended up dropping out of the program a week prior to my next session and was still slapped with a $50 late cancellation fee. I feel like I couldn’t speak about anything that triggers my anxiety without being told that I couldn’t discuss it because it may trigger the anxiety in others. I’ve been dealing with some real issues for a long time that attending these classes didn’t help at all with. There’s just too many restrictions. I feel like the programs offered here help people with mild to moderate anxiety and depression rather than more severe cases like myself.

All in all - would not recommend this place. I really enjoy my therapist, shes wonderful, but everyone other interaction Ive had has made me question going back. For people who work in a place that focuses on individuals struggling with their mental health, they certainly dont ease my anxiety or make me feel comfortable. From my first visit, I have had nothing but poor service from the staff at Compass Point (again, aside from my actual therapist). My first visit, there was no receptionist on site to assist at the Kenwood location, and my therapist was 15 minutes late. When I called the main line, the receptionist was nothing short of rude and dismissive when I mentioned this. Every time Ive called in, the people who answer the phones are less than helpful. I had a billing issue and called in several times between 5 PM - 7:30 PM (when they are supposed to be open), left a message and never received a call back. When I finally got through to the billing department, they were not at all helpful. I figured out the problem with my insurance company, and when I asked the person in the billing department if I could send over the updated information, she said you can email it to me, but they are probably not going to cover it since it was in August which caused me to reach out to my insurance company again to verify if they would cover it. Overall just a frustrating situation that couldve easily been handled with we will get this updated and let you know when we hear from your insurance company.

I have never been so disappointed. We have been advised to seek family counseling with our daughter. At our first appointment the paperwork was tossed aside by the therapist, never looked at it to learn a thing about her. We were in a smoke infested, very dirty room and the therapist had his eyes closed over half of the hour. He did not ask one thing about my daughters history and was even rude at one point. I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone. What a waste of my time and I can t believe our insurance will be charged for this visit. In response to your reply about our visit at Compass Point....we were given the Compass Point phone number and Compass Point paperwork. I find this very misleading. We were never informed that he wasnt with your facility until your reply.

Really wanted to see someone so I could have a professional monitor my mental health since Im not a very good judge of it. Ive been in denial for 22 years of my problems and I assumed many issues that keep coming would have been handled much sooner. Maybe my opinion can be changed, but so far the office appears off setting.

I filled out extensive paperwork prior to my visit and brought it with me. It was tossed aside and I was asked the same questions that were on the form. This took the counselor the entire hour and I was charged $160 when she could have read my answers in less than 5 minutes and had time to counsel me. I did not receive any counseling, but had to pay as if I did! What a racket! This hour was a waste of my time and money. The counselor was extremely rude and the office staff was unprofessional. I absolutely would not recommend this place based on my experience.

The best therapists are here! They are the most validating therapists Ive met! You can tell they truly want to help you. Their DBT program is taught by the book and they are one of the only facilities to do the around here. The office staff knows me by name, well face actually! I dont even have to go up to the desk. They just see me and sign me in. I have also had a mix up with being billed when I should not have and they fixed it right away.

The therapists here are phenomenal. Prior to coming to Compass Point, I had a history of bad past experiences over the years. I was terrified to give therapy another chance. The therapist I was paired up with was a perfect match and has helped me immensely. I also took part in the dbt program and the skills you learn are essential to mental health. I highly recommend this place to anyone struggling and especially to those who are nervous to give therapy a try. Everyone is so patient, nice, and understanding!

Attempted to make an appoint using EAP benefits and was told no one there was accepting the benefits however I could pay out of pocket. Scheduled the appointment anyway, however when I went in to pay for an appointment they took a copy of my credit card and charged it. When I made the call to attempt to get the receipt, I was met with a very rude individual who wasnt providing good customer support at all. She ended up putting me on indefinite hold.It really makes you wonder if you who hired the office staff. I like the therapist but it seems to be a hassle to do anything else.

My MBSR attendance was the first MBSR group to start. I went into the group because I have been dealing with a lot of traumas and grief that kept me from having more enjoyable days than not.Finishing the group gave me the inner knowledge to cope with my depression and anxieties that I felt stemmed from my grief. It gave me more food for thought than I anticipated and I feel like I have the skills to manage my thoughts better, to “mindfully worry” versus spiraling like I used to, to think further before taking action like I used to.I can live more in the moment now and enjoy today and dwell less on the past and not be so anxious about the future.I definitely feel like the MBSR group helped me learn more about myself and how to sit, breath and regulate my thoughts.

Blonde receptionist that checked me in was very cold, and unfriedly. As soon as I gave her my name, she interrupted me speaking to tell me my copay and then hurried to say thank you to end conversation. People would like to know they are more than a credit card.
