A lot of things need to change there to provide an effective and fair treatment to the patients. Starting with the staff at the front desk, they need to stop playing around, wasting time and laughing at the patients (you can go there and see it anytime for yourself) and go through a training to learn about receiving and serving people properly in an ER. It should continue with hiring more physicians and making sure that they are working to solve the needs of the patients as soon as they arrive. If not, what is the point of going to EMERGENCY ?? Patients dont go there to keep waiting in pain.

This Mercy hospital emergency is hell . Don’t go in this hospital emergency department. Don’t wast your time and money in this hell hospital.They don’t have proper protocol to treat the Emergency 🆘 conditions or Emergent people. Very unexperienced staff they are very rude. This hell hospital don’t deserve anything.they are playing with innocent people.If you have Something emergency don’t go in Mercy They will not attend you whether youre dying.they don’t care about your pain . They don’t feel your pain . 😡😡

The worst ER ever! Staff is rude and uncaring. My son was throwing up blood and passing out and waited for over an hour and still wasnt seen. Other patients left without being seen as well. Terrible!

Urgencies at Mercy are very bad, starting with the people at the front desk; playing games , laughing and making the people wait unnecessarily in horrible pain.

Please listen to the reviews if you have any emergent issues I would recommend you not go here as you will die waiting to be seen think of it more as an overpriced physicians llc

Called to see about getting a cyst removed from my arm, was told to contact someone else, I thought this was a hospital. Do your secretaries always turn away people looking for help?

This hospital needs to change the way they do their job. I came here with second degree burn. Instead of giving me a pain reliever they were checking my pressure like what is that suppose to do. I waited hours just for a Tylenol which they could’ve gave me in the first place. I had no idea what was going on for 3 hours. They don’t inform you or check on you which they should every 20 or so min or what is the point of coming to ER. They need to focus on healing a patient before they do any other bs. We don’t come here just to wait for the pain to go away.

I am currently sitting in the wating room for the ER.. Its bean 3 hours of wait time.. I have kidney stones and bad pain.. And they have had me wating here for 3 hours.. I feel like i am in a third world country wating to go in to the Emergence room.. This is ridiculous never again i am coming here, this is my first and last time.. 3 hours of pain ...

If you have an emergency NEVER go here. This is the worst hospital I have ever experienced. They are slow And they are not slow because of business they are slow so they dont Have to be busy. They are rude. I would rather die than ever go to this emergency room ever again. I seen older people waiting there And they shouldve been back right away. They do NOT follow discharge procedure. This hospital either needs to be shut down or get a whole new staff. I waited for 3 and a half hours just to be seen. Never again!

If I could give this a place a zero I would. This place is absolutely horrible! I went there in severe pain and left in severe pain. I had to travel to another hospital to seek medical help. Since I was never seen by a actual doctor nor a nurse practitioner. The experience was terrible and I will never go to that emergency room again. I was placed in a hallway the whole time surrounded by dirt and blood.

Went there with a sickle cell pain after 3hrs of given some pain meds had to come back home went there the second time and I was admitted I must admit their care was superb, wonderful nursing and the doctors did their best till I felt better. Definitely recommending this for anyone else .

The ER bathroom was absolutely disgusting(the one in back by patients rooms), I kept looking for a place to sit a specimen cup down, a didnt feel comfortable setting it anywhere....The rooms are filthy, stained blankets...... They just renovated the ER and its already this way??? The wait is absurd!!! The SQUAD brought in an elderly woman all alone, and they(ER nurses) sat her in the waiting room, alone, and she was still sitting there 3 HOURS later!!! I love the care I get once admitted, i just dont know if going through hell to get it is worth it anymore.....All you hear is staff complaining about being short staffed, they see more patients on 2nd than 1st but first has twice as many staff... And believe me, it definitely shows in their attitudes.......

People are nice, but on a Saturday, I had to walk out after waiting for 4 hours because I was told I would have to wait 4 more. I figured I wasnt dying since I was made to wait that long. will have to find a better equipped or greater manned, emergency room.

Excellent care and service. The doctors, nurses and support staff were informative, caring and professional.

Worst emergency room I’ve ever been to in my entire life! Came in signs of strep throat can barley swallow my own spit, very painful! Got here at 8:30 pm and am still sitting here waiting to see a doctor almost 6 hrs later! Will never ever be back to this hospital ever again! And someone else just got to the back and is complaining and she’s been here 5 mins the nurse just told her that and I’m sure the doctor will go in and see her first!

This is stupid I have been sitting here for an hour and a half with my 18 weeks pregnant girlfriend, she has a fever of 103 ( which can be deadly for the baby if not treated right away btw) and they keep pulling other patients ahead of us...if I lose my child I am sueing this place
