Called to refill my son’s prescription on a Friday, and the receptionist refused to assist me. Said it was their policy not to refill on Fridays. I asked her if it was okay for him not to take his medication for three days while I wait until Monday to call back. She didn’t say it was okay; however, she said she would not relay the message to the doctor because it was their policy. Actions speak louder than words, so I guess she thinks it’s fine for my child to skip 3 doses of his meds. Very poor client services.

Dr. Schneider is a wonderful psychiatrist and kind person. He has helped me and several people in my family and friends I referred to him. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of psychiatry . He is warm, caring and takes his time listening and offering his support. He does not over prescribe medication at all. He truly cares about his patients and helps them recover until they are well again. Dr. Schneider is the best and I would refer him to anyone suffering!

Owen is a excellent Psychiatrist. I been working with him for about a year and I find him extremely friendly, intelligent and very funny. He strategically plans for long-term goals for treatment and short term care isn’t irgnoed either.I was a cancer patient who experienced extreme side effects from the treatment and never felt completely confident in my treatment until I worked with him. He always makes room for you if you need a appointment right away and calls you back if you have any concerns...

Talk to you for under 10 mins and prescribe 5+ medications with no official diagnosis. Multiple doctors have overprescribed young children and young adults who don’t know they have the right to question a doctors orders. Very minimal therapy or real testing done. This practice is all about making money with no regard to patients wellbeing.

Let just say, Doctor Schneider is one of the most unprofessional physicians I have ever encountered. He never diagnosed or took my issues serious. Just gave me Xanax, Klonopin, and other drugs if I asked for them.Visits waiting long in waiting area were a nightmare. He also made me feel uncomfortable several visits, saying how men must go crazy for me, and my issues were the least of the problem. Not to mention, he asked for cash directly paid to him, by me during one of our visits, even with my insurance covering me fully. I only have a co-pay, which they make you pay before you enter his room. When confronting the front desk about the issue, the receptionist jabbed back at me saying, You need to take it up with Doctor Schneider! its not my problem! The only reason why these receptionist are allowed to get away with being rude, is because they get paid pennies compared to what a real professional would get paid. Keeping your cost low, way to go Dr. Waynik! Dr. Waynik should address these problems that occur daily at his office, but I bet thats the least of his concern, since everyone is still getting paid. I feel terrible that this practice is still in business. SMH.

Very very knowledgeable...people say he doesnt look at them but i think its a more non controllable personal issue which is non of our concern, because hes still just a smart and effective psychiatrist...very very empathetic and willing to work with you and doesnt push pills on you like some docs! The Fairfield office is beautiful, idk where all you go to the doctors (dubai or inside the palace of Versailles lol) at the end of the day at the doctors office that has to accommodate a lot of hosts and its not always easy (esp. with a pain mngmnt and suboxone clients as well, which doubles the amount of people who just do psychiatry.... they have a great waiting room in the Fairfield office with more chairs than any other doctor Ive been to in the past 10 years. Like enough for 20 people! And the offices and lobby itself is very clean and nice ...the receptionist are very nice I think a lot of these crappy reviews are because people were mad they couldnt get their meds or they disagreed with the receptionist there for got A not so welcoming response but I would recommend this office to anybody even my own family!!!!

Dr. Schnieder is a very compassionate, considerate Dr. with a sense of humor. Hes helped me immensly manage my life much better since I started seeing him. My situations are much better. Through counseling and the right meds., hes helped me manage my life much better. What really disappointed me were some of these reviews I have read. One said He gave, me any medicine I wanted, said he hit on me, etc. etc. (I highly doubt it, hes a reputable guy). Psychiatrists are NOT Psychics!! They listen the symptoms we tell them, and use their knowledge, and tools they have to work with, and make a treatment plan......Obviously the review I read about him giving her all these meds. , is misusing or abusing their medications. And the one who replyed Turn him in....for WHAT?? People need to take responsibility for their actions....There are millions of us who depend on meds, to give us a higher quality of life, manage our, lives better. Its harder for us now to get our kegimate medications because of so many people abusing them!! SMH!

Had a bad experience when I called the Fairfield office close to 4:30pm...the phone was hung up. The person receiving calls refused to take the call after 4:20pm and continuously hang up the phone. Very unprofessional and an unsafe practice when dealing with patients with mental health issues.

4 to 6 week wait not great if therapy is needed right away in most cases is needed sooner. I was told I would get a call back came 2 days later to schedule appointment as I was looking for information to give front office woman got frustrated and hung up. I called back and told them I will be finding another provider. Don’t waste your time with this group.

Run as fast as you can!! My ex-husband had them all Conned into believing he attempted a suicide when my son was 3 1/2 years old only to find out he drank a capful of liquid plumber, he shouldve finished the job. He had my son put thru therapy by 3 different unprofessionals who never could get thru to him and then they suggested I seek counseling. Why, to just know it was eventually going to end in divorce because of his gambling habits that no one ever discovered? Great job doctors with PHDs.
