In March of 2019 I had a brain tumor and I needed surgery and my father looked for the best doctor and god sent us an angel by the name of Dr. Leon E. Moore’s. There’s not enough word of kindness to say about him so I put everything in one name angel that’s what Dr. Moore’s is. My parents and I love you and your a hero in my family! My daughter had spinal surgery with Dr. Moores and I couldn’t have wished for a better surgeon. His bedside manner and overall attitude was just so helpful at such a stressful time. He made my daughter feel as relaxed as possible and even earned some smiles! His staff is excellent as well! I hope you don’t need a pediatric neurosurgeon, but if you do you can rest assured your child is in good hands!

Dr. Moores is very kind and caring. He explained everything to me and gave me comfort and peace of mind about my daughter. I wish all of the pediatric doctors were as passionate as him.

Dr. Moores did 2 of my childrens Arnold Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia surgeries 19 years ago at Walter Reed. I can not express how amazing he was. He explained everything and his bedside manner was awesome. He is definitely a hero in our family.

He did my daughter surgery yesterday ( craniosynostosis) before the surgery went trought everything with me and my husband very supportive and kind) and after the surgery he came outside to the waiting area and insured us that everything went well and spent some time explaining how the surgery was successful.My daughter is recovering just fine .amazing doctor

Dr. Moores performed my sons brain surgery in March of 2018. He was very supportive, informative, respectful, and most of all caring thru out the whole process. He was exceptional with my son as well, making sure to include him in every step of the process. He even went as far as to provide my son with pictures (due do not being able to give him a sample piece of his brain, lol). Dr. Moores went above and beyond his call of duty to save my son!! I am forever thankful to you sir!!
