This business is open right now and they sent me away without being able to see out of my left eye. The lady said theyre not taking customers today even though it says open. So now I have to drive somewhere else with my damaged eye to have somebody look at it. These people are not medical professionals theyre terrible people.

Ridiculous long wait time. Every time I came for the annual check up, I have to wait like an hour for the doctor, last year was the same; I thought this year they will getting better. If you cannot accommodate patients, don’t schedule appointments with them. Don’t let them come in and sit in the room for hours, such a wait of time. I had to leave because I couldn’t bear with this ridiculous wait. Have to find another primary doctor that value patient’s time.

I was glad that this urgent care provides the Covid vaccine. I filled out their online form 2 weeks ago, then came in today and got the pfizer shot. The clinic is clean. The staff screens all patients at the door prior to entry. The staff was very helpful and friendly and got the shot done quickly. I waited about 15 min after the shot and was sent on way. I highly recommend this clinic. Sorry this review is for their office in Annandale, not Pan Am.

This is my first time going to an urgent care center ever and was super impressed. The office feels brand new, clean and the front desk was very efficient in processing all my new patient forms processed. I did not wait long at all before I was seen by the nurse practitioner. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The front desk was quick to check me out and I was on my way. I highly recommend this place if you require immediate medical attention (not emergency room worthy).

I have always had good experience at the office. Last time I saw nurse practitioner Terra for me annual physical, and she was very thorough and attentive. I got appointments fairly quickly, and did not have to wait too long. I like the office is open till late and can go there after working hours.

I needed vaccinations for travel and had urgency since I needed them in order to apply for a visa. Another place had offered to give me an appointment one week away from the day I called. When I called Pan Am Urgent Care, they told me that I could go on the same day, which was great. I was received and attended with high professionalism. The personnel took the time to explain all the required and recommended vaccines for the country that I was traveling. Overall I had a very good experience.

As a diplomat I have learned to be patient, but when you bring an injured child in to be seen, you expect to be seen by medical staff somewhat quickly. When we arrived, there was one car in the parking lot and no one in the waiting room. I was extremely disappointed with the front desk staff. We brought our son to be evaluated for a possible concussion and head injury. The first thing we were told was we dont have Ct equipment. After asking if he could be evaluated, we were told yes and given paperwork to complete. The girls at front desk were not compassionate, friendly or helpful. They were more concerned with discussing their after work plans and social life then helping us or our child. I was happy with the medical staff as they were helpful, caring and did a very good job of explaining to our son what they were doing. Overall, while happy with the treatment, Im very uncertain if Ill ever return due to the poor service by the front desk staff

This is the first time I visited an Urgent Care facility and I was very impressed. The staff was caring and knowledgeable; the office itself was lovely. My son has no insurance and I felt the charges were quite reasonable. The doctor spent more time with my son than most Family Practitioners. This was an amazingly positive experience!

I accompany my elderly father on each and every appointment. I am always impressed with Dr. Van-Anh Nguyens attentiveness. She is very busy but always takes the time to examine my father thoroughly. She shows genuine concern for the well-being of her patients. The nurses and staff are always helpful, friendly, and polite. Prescriptions are transmitted to pharmacy promptly and accurately. Dr. Nguyen also speaks Vietnamese (albeit with a light American accent). Patients who can only communicate in Vietnamese will find her language skill very helpful. Impressed with Dr. Nguyens care for my father, I recommended her as a the family doctor for both my elderly aunt and her husband. They are also very happy with her care. I would recommend Pan Am Medical & Urgent Care for anyone who is seeking the service of a primary care physician.

I first went here on a whim since it’s close by. I must say I was pleasantly surprised how fast I was seen and the great level of care I was given. I’ve been here several times and always receive excellent treatment. I would highly recommend seeing Family Nurse Practitioner Guerette or Tucker. They both truly care about their patients and you’ll never feel like you’re being rushed out the door like at other places.

My wife and I are patients of Dr. Van/Anh Nguyen. She is the most thorough physician I have ever experienced. She reviews all previous issues, allows for all questions, explains in detail all options for care and suggests a comprehensive plan for care. If further care is required she provides a lists of physicians or labs that makes the patient feel at ease . Beyond her medical knowledge she is a very caring physician. We feel very fortunate that Dr. Nguyen is our primary care physician.

The staff at Pan AM Medical and Urgent Care, specifically Ruth Madden are what I consider to be top-notch. After 30 years of military medical practitioners, these folks are a breath of fresh-air. I love being able to make a phone call and then almost instantly see a provider I know and trust. During a recent physical, I was made to feel comfortable with entire process. In specific, I did not feel rushed. Ruth took considerable time to discuss several health related issues and cross-walked several things which are impacting my well being. Five Star+.

I have been Dr. Nguyens patient for 10 years, and her passion for medicine, thoroughness as a clinician, and friendly, upbeat personality have helped me stay healthy and also to weather some health problems. The AEHS clinic and urgent care facility on Nutley Street is staffed by friendly, competent staff who deliver care in a clean, well-organized facility. Highly recommended for both primary care and for urgent needs.

I had a pretty negative experience here.First, when I arrived and checked in, the receptionist took my name and DOB on a post-it note. Presumably, she was planning to enter the information into the system when she wasnt busy. But, it turns out she never entered me in the system to officially check me in. As a result, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour -- and for about an half hour I was the only one in the waiting area. The only reason I was seen before the office closed is because someone else came out into the waiting area and asked me what I was doing there. When I said that I was waiting to be seen, she asked the receptionist if she had checked me in, and the receptionist denied that I had given her my information. Only when I started spelling my last name did she remember, and then check me in.At the end of the visit, I was given a visit summary, including my name, DOB, medical issue, and vital signs. When I got home I realized that I had been given someone elses visit summary, with all of that persons personal information! This seems like a serious breech of security.As you can see, I would not recommend this office.

My experience in this place was not what I expected, my first time I saw the doctor I explained my symptoms with luxuries of detail and she prescribed me a medicine that did not work at all, blood tests three days later I went for the results and told me that everything was fine my symptoms continued, the funniest thing I told a friend how I felt and she gave me the best diagnosis and spent $ 265 dollars, in the medical consultation and what was affecting me, it was an allergy to pollen that never happened to me, and I bought medicine in cvs with $ 16 dollars my problem was solved, I wait a little medical knowledge is the reason why we are going to see the doctor.

Having learned from the practice manager that this practice has been getting many bogus negative reviews from nearby competitor, I felt compel to write this review. I have been a patient of this practice for more than 7 years seeing both the primary care providers and Dr. Do as a specialist. The practice has been in Annandale since 2005 and just relocated to its new location next to Safeway last year. There is a second location in Fairfax which I had visited on a few of occasions. The clinics are spacious, modern, clean and have very comfortable sitting areas. The only complaint I may have is the choice of the overhead classical music. Staff are generally very well trained, caring, often going out of their ways asking me and other patients how everyone is doing and if anyone is needing assistance. The urgent care services by the providers whom I had seen (both the docs and nurse practitioners) are top notch. They listen to their patients, and provide meticulous care, not doc in a box type of service. The location is very convenient (next to Safeway at both locations where I can just walk over and pick up my prescriptions after the visit) with ample parking space just outside the front doors. I have not used the online appointment request so cannot comment. In regards to reviews complaining about the long wait, there probably aren’t many good clinics, doctor offices, or urgent cares that don’t have a long wait now and then. Even so, it is very seldom that I have to wait long. When I do have to wait, the receptionist keeps me informed and I am reassured that the staff are working diligently and not rushing people out the door. These are by far some of the best clinics in the area and I recommend them highly.

No wait time, quick follow up with the appointment request, and fair standard of care for the convenience. Rating is actually 4.5 stars out of 5:The purpose of my visit was for my annual physical. This was my first visit to this office and Dr. Van-Anh Nguyen was my doctor for the visit. Dr. Nguyen did a very good job explaining everything occurring during the exam and I didnt feel like she was negative about anything that we discussed. She had a very positive attitude. The office is nice with wifi and I had minimal wait. The only reason that I didnt give it 5 stars is I had to hand fill out the forms for my first visit when I arrived. If I could have done those online and submitted electronically or printed them out and filled them out before arriving then I would have given the visit 5 stars.

My appointment is on Wednesday morning and someone called me on Monday while I was in a meeting. Later I received an email saying if you are unable to make the appointment, please call us. So I knew I could make the appointment and didnt call back. On Wednesday when I got there, they said your appointment canceled because you called us on Tuesday saying you had work and couldnt make it. But no, I didnt call them at all and absolutely didnt say I would have to work because I told my manager last Friday and Monday that I was going to see my doctor on Wednesday morning. I dont know why this miscommunication and the fake reason of cancellation could happen and the receptionist was quite rude. This is my third time here, quite disappointed.

This is by far one of the most pleasant experiences at the doctors office. Ive been to many different offices over the years and usually its a combination of long wait times, outdated administrative practices, and short interactions where you are just another patient number next on their appointment books. This, however, was far from my past experiences. When I walked in as a new patient for an annual physical exam, the receptionist (I feel bad that I didnt ask for her name) welcomed me and was very receptive when I had questions. She wasnt short with me and was happy to explain her answers.After a short wait and right on my scheduled appointment time, I was seen by the medical assistant, Angie. She was very friendly and didnt hesitate to strike conversation to make me feel at ease and valued as a patient. Ruth came into the room afterwards and was very professional and also very friendly as she examined me. Again, she also was a breath of fresh air for being open and human in her approach. I did not feel like a number at this office and everyone there seemed like they love what they do and like working together.

This practice has really convenient locations and very caring staff that going out of their ways to help me and my family!

Doctors are fine, but im switching cause of the front desk. I was trying to reschedule my appointment, she put me on hold for 5 minutes just to tell me they were closed then put me on hold again.

Ive been here before and the care is good but I had an appointment and after 30 minutes of waiting had to reschedule.UPDATE: Since originally posting this I feel they have made an effort to improve and I’m willing to chalk the original issues up to growing pains.

Vietnamese doctor Van Anh and her staffs try to take advantage of vietnamese community. She will order every test for you to make money from your insurance.

To be a health care facility, you must first be able to care for the health of your patients. We sat waiting for 30 mins for referral papers to get an ultrasound. After asking what was taking so long, they notified us that their printer was broken and they tried to send us out with emailed referral papers close to closing time. No other place will accept you with out physical papers. Thank goodness I called the hospital and found that out. The person at Reston hospital told them what they needed to do and told them to fax it over. My fiancé would not have been seen that night had it not been for her. After the results were in and sent back to AEHS, they failed to get back to my fiancé after he talked to someone twice, they said the doctor would not have time to look at the results. Not one ounce of concern at all. This is a person, a father, one loved by many, and one of the best people I have ever met and he is being treated like a piece of garbage. Maybe we wont have time to pay the medical bill when it comes in either. Please do not go here if you care about yourself. Please do not recommend a friend to come here or listen to the adds on the radio about this place. You are much better off going to the clinic at Target.

I went to the 3085 Nutley St. SW, Fairfax VA facility yesterday and received outstanding care. I was feeling ill, fever, coughing etc and was able to see a doctor (Van-Anh T Nugyen) within 15 minutes and saw a nurse (Ayan) sooner than that. They efficiently took my history, vitals and a throat swab. The receptionist (Lan Mai) was a model of responsiveness and efficiency. Dr. Nugyen was knowledgeable, systematic, concerned and answered my questions, which I am sure wasnt the first time she heard them. She ordered other tests and an X-Ray and called in my prescriptions. She later took the time to explain how to proceed from there and scheduled a follow up appointment.Ive been to pharmacy walk in clinics and had good experiences with them. Still, PAN AM was a level above in on-site capabilities and patient focus. This is where I plan to go for my future urgent care needs. Im writing to share my good experience with others.

The doctor is good there. She is actually a sweet person. The management is horrible. Appointments mean nothing at this place. Had a 9:30 am appointment that I set 2 days ago. Waited until 10am still nothing while all the walk-in patients and people who walked in before were being seen. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF AN APPOINTMENT IF ITS MEANINGLESS AT YOUR PLACE. For gods sake, on your website you have a link for setting appointment... then why dont you honor it? I fasted that night so I can have blood drawn in the morning and rescheduled all my work according to this appt. Then to go through all this just really ticked me off !!!! Then you have a guy who walks in super sick to the point of dying and you dont have him put a face mask on or have him sent to a hospital.. he literally was about to roll over like you would see in the movies... You could have sent him to the hospital... two people that day walked out bc of this guy ... place doesnt seem to be following protocol in any regards.. sick breeding more sick patients.. im out of this place .. no more for me....
