Dr. Scott is a great doctor. He listens to your concerns and doesn’t hurry you thru your appointments. He was thorough in explaining the carpal tunnel procedure prior to and after surgery. He and his staff quickly followed up within a couple of days to see how I was faring.

Wasnt thrilled to have surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in my hand, but Dr. Scott and his staff were great. Professional and courteous. Im one week post-op and have already seen Dr. Scott for a follow-up. He was thorough and walked me through the plan going forward. Im so happy with the doctor and his practice that I am going to see his OT practice rather than one that is closer to my home. I highly recommend Dr. Scott if your are looking for a hand surgeon.

Dr. Scott is an excellent orthopedic physician who has been treating my elbows. A physician who is confident in his expertise and experience which places a patient at ease during treatment. He is straight to point who does not beat around the bush like most doctors. Great physician who I strongly recommend!

I scheduled an appointment for shoulder/elbow/wrist pain at OrthoVirginia with Dr. Scott because his specialty is listed as hand, shoulder, wrist, elbow. His reviews were good however; my experience with him was not. The visit was rushed, poor bedside manner and blatantly unprofessional. He came in and almost seemed afraid to examine me, eventually he did and said, the problem is very common pointing to a poster on the wall. After looking at the poster I asked if the diagnosis was impingement of the rotator cuff, I had an idea due to my prior research on WebMD. He said that was the problem and if I needed a steroid injection to return, I came in with a pain level of 10, how much worse can it get? The visit was useless, the medical advice was to take an OTC anti-inflammatory, ice and heat - nothing that I havent been doing. He said if youre moving I can give you an injection; as a matter of fact I am moving and told him so. Irritated with my comment, he asked, moving across the street, across the country, where?. Frankly, whether moving across the street or across the world, Ill still need to lift boxes and aggravate the shoulder. Perhaps, I caught him on a bad day, in any case, this visit wasnt even worth the insurance co-pay and auto-diagnosing proved more effective than Dr. Scott.

Dr. Scott was an awesome doctor!!! He’s very kind and professional and Took time to explain every question my 8 yr. old daughter and I had.This was the first time at this practice, and we were so pleased with the whole experience!!! They were on time, the x-ray person, John was wonderful & Victor who put the cast on my daughter’s arm was so sweet too!We highly recommend this practice and Dr. Scott to anyone who is dealing with a fracture.

I made an appointment for mother she hurt her wrist and thumb, Dr. Scott did a great job explaining the issue my mom was having and what steps we needed to take, she will most likely need surgery because of the severity of the injury.Every one that helped us in the appointment from the X-RAY tech to the receptionist were all amazing. I would definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.

Dr Scott was in and out of the appointment in record time, I did not feel as if he really cared one way or the other about my problem, he was on to his next patient so quickly that I had to request that he come back in the exam room. When he returned, he was no more receptive to my questions than before. I felt like I was imposing on his time. I will never go there again.!

Thought I had experienced poor health care service before a horrible follow up appointment with Dr. Scott. Walked in and told us “2 weeks until you can use it again, wear this brace when you are out and about” (broken fingers). Left without saying goodbye or anything. I was issued a brace in which the technicians working at the time didn’t even know how to put it on for me.

Dr Scott again provided a laymens explanation of my trigger finger problem like he did 4 years ago when i had carpal tunnel inflammation.I particularly was enamored with his conservative non chemical first approach treatment with possible injections later if the prior is unsuccessful. 3 days later his conservative treatment approach has nearly completely resolved my problem.He is my go to ortho doc.

The care I received by the staff at OrthoVirginia was kind, prompt and professional. After the examination performed by Dr Scott, I felt confident that I understood the exact nature of my injury and what I would need to do to speed my recovery. Thank you.

I fully explained the pain level, and physical limitations, of my right and left knees to Dr. Scott. While my current occupational duties are associated with contributing to my condition ,I received expert medical advice, and treatment, to minimize these symptoms.A follow up appointment is scheduled,to review the treatment results ,and further diagnosis to remedy the condition appears likely.
