I personally have gone here for the 12 week anatomy ultrasound and talk to doctor about the exam since this is where my regular obgyn sends us. Doctor is patient and explains everything exactly how it is and his Nurses are awesome . No bad experience here but if you do have any appointment arrive at least 15 minutes early so you don’t run into any issues with traffic or if any last min paperwork . They definitely try to accommodate everyone as much as they can and Yes NO CHILDREN are allowed like most obgyn prior to COVID-19 So please make arrangements, there is nothing they can do and waiting room is small so please be considerate.

Nothing but great experience during our several visits. Dr Mclaren always took his time to make sure all of our questions were answered.

This place was absolutely horrible my daughter was referred here by a doctor who has been in our family for 30 years. When they get there they tell us no children are allowed in there office I would have to take my three year outside and sit in the heat of my daughter could not be seen. We drove 1.5 hours to get here. There is no signs in the office saying no kids and we have never been told about this policy. This is my daughters first pregnancy I like beong with her. My three year old and I are now sitting out on heat waiting when asked to talk to a supervisor they refused to talk to us. I will be calling my insurance company.

To receptionist: Dont do mistake and dont use excuse me!

Arrived 5 minutes early for our appointment. We were told that this is considered late, and we would need to wait indefinitely to be seen. Judging by other reviews here, this seems to be a common trick at this practice. Why not schedule patients for their actual appointment time instead, and avoid issues?That being said, the technicians and physician were excellent.

Much improvement in communication! Dr. Mclaren has always been responsible and respectful. Change in staff has caused some confusion. Definitely recommend them, Dr. Has a lot of experience..

We were referred to this office by our doctor. The staff is very rude and lacks the basic understanding of customers service. I cant comment on the medical services we received, I am not a doctor.

[Timestamp: 07/10/2019 3:00 p.m.]Horrible customer service experience!!! I had a 1:30 p.m. appt.I live quite far from this location and this is the only place my OBGYN referred me to. I called and told them that I would be 15 minutes late because of construction going on along the way on their side of town. I asked the receptionist how long will I have to wait to get seen. She said, I dont know. Just know that it will be a really long time because you know you are really late. I was surprised by her unprofessional response. I told her that since we have come so far and we are only a few minutes away, we will come in anyway. When we get there the waiting room is completely EMPTY!!!!!! I am not a new patient and therefore I have no paperwork to fill out. One other receptionist, she wasnt the one I talked to on the phone, asked me to go empty my bladder and come back to the seating area. My family saw me in the hallway and walked with me back into the waiting room from the restroom. I told my husband what I was instructed to do. We waited FOR OVER AN HOUR WITH NO UPDATE ON A REAL TIME FRAME TO BE SEEN. There were no other families in the waiting room until 15 to 20 minutes after I showed up and they were NEW PATIENTS. They had to fill out paperwork and I did not have to. Several new patients were called back to be seen and one of them wasnt even done filling out paperwork! My husband got frustrated after waiting OVER an hour knowing my bladder is empty and I am PREGNANT AND THIRSTY AND HUNGRY! He asked them politely for an update they wouldnt give him one. Then the lady that I spoke to on the phone before I came had the nerve to throw in my husbands face that we called in and rescheduled from last week. I rescheduled because I did not want to get stuck in post Independence Day holiday traffic. What does my rescheduling have to do with what happened today!?!?!?!?!??! They could have easily seen me during the time that I was waiting with nothing to do and their were no patients in the waiting room. My husband took off work to go to this appointment with me and our 6 y.o and 3 y.o. children. They had the nerve to ask if we wanted to reschedule! As if we really feel like driving all the way from the Fredericksburg area to Fairfax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This awful place cannot be our only option to do my 20 week sonogram!!! I refuse to come back here.

Dr. MacLaren and his ultrasonographer are wonderful. I get cute pictures and they each take their time and are very patient. Always look forward to my appointments. Parking is convenient at their fairfax location.I highly recommend them.

We saw Dr. McLaren due to my fluid level being elevated. He has a great bedside manner and he made us feel very comfortable during each visit. We are happy to hear our baby is healthy and were good to go.Thank you to the friendly staff as well.

Very poor service over the phone. I was referred here by Centreville OBGYN for a routine anatomy scan. The woman answering the phone was not helpful and told me I was too late in calling to make an appointment since my referral was 2 weeks old. Ive never heard of a 2-week expiration on referrals. Called another local company (Thanks Fairfax Radiology!) and was able to make an appointment with no issue.

Horrible practice! Very insensitive nurse technician who refuses to send in the legally correct diagnostic codes to the insurance, but instead overcharges patients. She also doesnt think 24 hours is enough notice to call in a prescription for a sugar test kit after having threatened me that if i miss testing even once, they will drop me as a patient and that my baby will die. Terrible & rude bed side manners! Dont go here. Having a high-risk pregnancy is not easy to begin with and they dont make it any easier!

Very poor customer service. My appointment was at 9:30 am they asked me to come in at 9:15 to fill out paper work. They called my name at 9:40 when I was at the restroom as soon as I came back they took another patient and asked me to wait. I am very disappointed and will never recommend this place to anyone.
