They do not pick up their phones, ever. They cannot find a fax with the test requests from your doctor, ever. This is a deal breaker especially during covid when you see doctors on-line and they fax the lab orders in. Even though my doctor has sent them faxes 2 times during last month, I’ve confirmed with my doc’s office. You cannot see anyone at this Quest location without an appointment. You have to take a day off for your scheduled appointment. You come, still wait in line, and when you see a nurse, she tells you she cannot find your doctor’s faxes, and she will not spend extra time looking for them in their front desk because she is busy. They did finally find faxes for 2 on my tests (which were in a wrong fax pile they said), but not the faxes for the other 3 blood tests. The nurse yells at you right from the start. They told me to schedule another appointment (it’s available only in a week on their on-line system, you cannot schedule it in person) to do the rest IF, and only IF they find my doctor’s faxes. I wasted two PTO days on each appointment, and a month after I saw my doc, my blood tests are still not done because of Quest’s unprofessionalism and pure chaos at the front office here. I will never come back to this Quest location again.

I had a fanstic experience at this location. From the time I checked in til I left, it took 15 minutes. Ava was great! Im not sure why the reviews are poor.

My phlebotomist, Mo, was absolutely fabulous! She was extremely kind and fun to talk to. As someone who has bad anxiety about getting blood drawn, I really appreciated her ability to keep me laughing until she was done collecting samples. I barely even felt the needle! Highly recommend this location, and Mo, if you are lucky enough to have an appointment with her!

The people that work behind the door are phenomenal. However, you have to get past the receptionist who doesnt even do reception work. Waited for over an hour for her to even show her face, and that was after some lady yelled to the back asking if anybody worked there. Then she came out and rude is an understatement. This would be a great place if it wasnt for the fact that the first person you have to deal with is her. I recommend finding another office if you are able.

There is NO WAY to speak with ANYONE at this office. So Im going to have to physically go there. All to get verification that a fax order was sent there. I will not be happy when I get there. This is absurd. I think youve forgotten that we are customers requesting a service. Other facilities draw blood, and Im sure they would be more than happy to get paid by my insurance company.

Look let’s be real this institution provides an essential service that is vital to society and medicine whether it’s drug screening for jobs or for various medical practices for patients everywhere. The demand for the services that this institution renders will always be necessary regardless of its competitors. Even in writing this I still plan on using Quest Diagnostics services.I say all that to say this specific location is the worst QD I’ve encountered. I can deal with blunders, mistakes and mishaps… that’s fine no ones perfect. The last thing someone needs to deal with is to be ridiculed and condescended. I know nowadays it’s hard to conduct oneself with minimal decency and treat people with dignity and respect. Please don’t respond and ask how we can make it up and talk. You know how to already just do better.

I have used this place for many years and it has always been great. I understand that people that has the ability to make appointments will go first and walk ins will wait. But is hard to get early in the day appointments so I take my chances and I’m ok waiting if I have to. But second time I’ve been lectured about having to have an appointment even though it clearly says that the accept walk-ins. Both times no one seemed to have been waiting to be seen that had an appointment. Apparently they are hanging their policies and will only see people by appointments. But I’m the meantime walk-ins are welcome. I don’t appreciate being lecture and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. I guess I will have to either make random appointments 6 months ahead or find another location where ImNot made feel very uncomfortable.

If you have a question or need to contact Quest staff you CAN NOT get through on the phone. My wife had to drive to Quest office to give them FAX number and ask them to FAX test results to doctor. This phone automation is run amok!

Weve been here for an HOUR. we walked outside because the sign said ONLY 4 people are allowed in there and there were 6!!! We went back in because people were leaving and signed in again and she came out and said youll have to make an appointment because its lunch time and shes behind. THERES ONLY 2 PEOPLE IN THERE NOW.Ill NEVER come here again.

They called me to the waiting area then literally forgot about me for over an hour. How does that even happen? I ended up walking out, the level of patient care here is shameful and should be illegal.

They are careful about COVID using a free standing tablet to check in patients. I did not have to wait long. Mai took my blood and she was friendly and pain free. I got my results in a couple of days on the MyQuest phone app, which is terrific. The app graphs out test results from previous years, explains each test and gives a range for healthy readings. The only reason I did not give five stars is that my wife also had tests there, and she found the bathroom in poor condition.

Past reviews are kinda harsh. Everything was quick and professional at my visit. Maybe they did some restructuring. Either way I can recommend this office. I was in and out in 30 minutes or less. I did have an appointment.

I go here every few months for routine bloodwork and always have a great experience. Professional staff, and there is one phlebotomist in particular (I didnt catch her name but she has a middle eastern accent I believe) who has the best bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. I would give more than five stars if I could

These people are incompetent and disrespectful. I was there yesterday as a walk-in *with* an electronic order from my new employer as part of their BCI process. Not only did they make me wait OVER 30 minutes because I didnt have an appointment but once they finally saw me, the associate could not properly identify the company account number. They then refused to process the order because the company account number showed as inactive.I spent yesterday afternoon contacting the hiring company about this. After they finally chased down the appropriate people, it turns out that their account with Quest was ACTIVE. The representative from HireRight stated, and I quote: Thank you for contacting HireRight...I have spoke with Quest Diagnostics and they stated that your account shows as active in their system. This level of incompetence is reprehensible. I will be back tomorrow, with an appointment, and Quest better not screw this up again.

Never in my almost 40 years have I had a painless lab draw until today. I literally didnt even feel it pierce the skin. Cheyene was so careful and kind. She made certain I was laying down since she had to draw a large volume, and brought me a cup of water afterwards to make sure I was hydrated before I left.

I’ve now gone twice during the pandemic. They have great procedures in place making a bear touch-less experience with great distancing. I would recommend appointments, but the check in process was fast and the techs that work their are very kind and professional. This most recent visit being the best blood draw experience i’ve experienced.

I went to this location at the end of of June. While there were screening procedures and social distancing measures in the waiting room, staff allowed a woman in to the waiting area and front desk area that was not wearing a mask (she also came in with her dog and was openly carrying a gun in a leg holster). This was concerning for many reasons, but in particular as there were also elderly people in the waiting area who should not have been exposed. However, overall the staff were polite and efficient, and my tests were quick and painless. If you make an appointment in advance the waiting time seemed to be about 5-10mins, but over 45mins without an appointment.

This place is awesome! My mother who is 89 years old had blood work done there today. We had an appointment for 9:30 but got there super early at 8:30am. They were nice enough to let her in right away. The pace is very clean and practicing safe distancing procedures. Helen and Julitza (Julie) were extremely careful and very kind with my mother. Thank you for your great proffesionalism and care. Please stay safe. 😷

This location deserves 0 stars. My kids had to have a blood work done, this location was seem good at the time and that was on January 4th, 2020. We walked in and there was a long line, the receptionist did not acknowledged, she did not greed patients, it took her 5 to 10 minutes to call me to the window for her just to say in a very rude tone that I had to use the table to check in my kids. She was unprofessional, rude, not friendly at all. After she finally called me back to verify insurance and all the information. She was very slow and had an attitude, did not listen what I have to say, while I stud at the window waiting for about 30 to 40 minutes until she slowly input the info into the system after providing everything she have asked. Therefor, I got a bill for both of my kids because of people like her not having a proper knowledge about insurance companies and how to verify the correct insurance info after providing the insurance cards. I want to speak with the supervisor of that location.

One hundred percent positive experience today at Quest Diagnostics! Was called back by my technician/ phlebotomist, Shahad, as soon as I checked in electronically. She was very personable and efficient at drawing my blood. I usually bruise but she did such a good job, I didnt this time. Also I didnt get my usual reaction to the tape because they use a special paper tape. I couldnt believe I was out of there so quickly, which I greatly appreciated as I was fasting.

I have been coming here regularly for the past year and when I dont have an appointment or when I do Im always seen very quick. The staff is very helpful, friendly and gentle. They over charged me and I didnt notice until I got home the next time I had to do blood they resolved it by calling quest billing and instead of me waiting they called me within 2 hours to let me know it was all resolved and gave me the confirmation. They have always been friendly. And the times I go I have never had a problem with waiting.

Visited for my 12 month old sons blood work yesterday and it was the worst experience ever in my whole life. When we walked into the office, there was nobody in the waiting area so we checked in via Kiosk and started waiting. While we were waiting, I could here talks and laughs coming from the lab area and even had eye contact with an older male with sunglasses who stepped out from one of the rooms behind the lab door but nobody seemed to care about our presence there. We waited few more minutes and I could still here people talking and laughing behind the lab door. I walked to the kiosk again to look through the window and see if anyones available, the same guy happened to stepped out again from the room and we had another eye contact and he went back into the room again. My son started to get cranky and we waited for few more minutes we left the office when it was evident that nobody from that office cares about us but to have fun in the office. We ended up going to Quest in Annandale office and received the 5 star service.I will never visit this office again and I strongly suggest others to avoid them at all cost and go to Annandale office if you have to go to Quest.

Very slow service due to understaffing. There were only two staff handling everything on a Saturday which is one of the busiest days.I came here for a drug testing via urine testing, and waited from 8:00am, when it opens, to few hours.Once again, their service is very slow. Expect to wait an average of 2 hours when you come here.

I generally don’t leave reviews unless they are good but for this place I’m going to make an exception. I called Prior to coming in to make sure someone would be there. When I got there no one was at the desk so I signed in. 20 minutes later after calling back a few times and knocking, still no one came up. I could hear them laughing from the waiting room. Which was extremedy frustrating. After trying and o call the offic without any response I decided to leave. Will not be going back to that location.

I have been to Quest at this location many times and they have always been professional and skilled at taking my blood - even though Im a hard stick. Although other locations have had issues taking my blood in the past, this Quest location has not. Rashad is the best phlebotomnist. He has never missed a vein. My only complaint is that they took in a patient without an appointment prior to my scheduled appointment because his brother was also going to be seen and the mother was a pest. The location is clean and the staff friendly.

Pace is super slow. My lady, Dulce, did not communicate well at all. This resulted in me having to wait an extra hour to re-test. After the wait, they did not retrieve me, I had to ask to get tested. She spoke to me with an attitude and her body language was not pleasant. I arrived at 1 and did not leave until 2:45 for simple urine testing. I would drive the extra miles to go somewhere else to avoid this office.

HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE!!! I took my two and a half year old daughter there to draw some blood for the routine blood test. These people have no clue how to deal with kids. The staff did not even say hello or smile to a child. Obviously 2.5 year old child would be scared of needles and crying, however the staff should have some techniques to make this procedure quick and effective. Instead we got uninterested and rude personnel, whom after unsuccesssfuly sticking my child once, stated that they could not draw any blood because the child was wiggling. I want to emphisize that my daughter is 2.5 years old and just like any 2.5 year old on the planet she will not sit perfectly still (even with both of us holding her) for this kind of procedure. It is on the office staff to have the required skills to get the job done. Otherwise they should tell people upfront that they cannot deal with children.
