For years Ive used a dentist that my family used and he was absolutely terrible. There were issues with my teeth and gums that were never addressed and after moving to Fairfax, I decided to search for a new location. East Market Dental is absolutely the best. The staff are friendly, the office is clean and the services are out of this world. They addressed everything that was wrong with my teeth and gums and within 4 months theyve been able to help me. Highly recommend this location.

Had x-rays and cleaning today at East Market Dental. I am highly nervous about dentists; they took that seriously and both the dentist and hygienist were very thoughtful and careful. Highly recommend!

I found East Market Dental when the dental practice I was using told me they no longer accepted my insurance. I see Dr. Sareen and I think she is fantastic! My husband sees Dr. Mayer, and he thinks shes fantastic! My husband and I both are so happy with our new dental home! We couldnt more pleased with the quality of care we are receiving. I need sedation for some procedures and Im very happy with the level of comfort achieved and I feel very safe with Dr. Sareen.The office is clean and comfortable. It has been easy working with Jay on scheduling and payments. He is just great. All the assistants are polite and efficient. This really is an exceptional practice. I highly recommend!

I went there about 3 weeks ago to get my wisdom teeth out (they were impacted) and the procedure went very smooth. The doctor and her team made sure I was comfortable at all times and kept asking if I was okay during the surgery. I would definetely recommend them!

I d like to share this story with people who are trying to take their business to this Dentistry, i ve been with them for four years i ve done my Invisalign (which i had another story with them still not satisfied with results), cleaning..etcI ve had issue with my tooth ,it was painful and so sensitive i went to have it checked and she did quick test and said your tooth is cracked you need the root canal and crown i said okay and how much? they gave me estimate that i took with me , they said your insurance covers only %50 of Root canal and it doesnt cover the crown so the total was around $1010after one week or so i called my insurance to double check and i found out that it covers %80 of root canal and %50 of crowing and She is my insurance preferred dentist which means they should apply the right coverage.I called back to double check with Dentistry to tell them thats what insurance actually covers the guy there was like okay i will email you the new quote then and Guess what the price went up way around $1300 more than the original quote, I called back again to get explanation why you change all of sudden prices ? he got nervous and he goes Oh last time u came in and we recommended the crown first then root canal and because u stayed longer to decide to do it, the prices changes I was like WHAAAAT its doesnt make any sense to me how come my insurance changes the coverage because i decided to do the work one week or two weeks after my visit ????? he got so nervous and said I dont want to spend 15 minutes explaining to you Oh how nice!!! is this your great customer service ??? Anyways I went to see another dentist to get another opinion , and here the surprise, the new dentist found out whats the pain and the issue is coming from it was from another tooth thats its not even the one Dr Sareen said its cracked that tooth was totally fine( IMAGINE If i let her did the work, i could have spend a lot of money and ended up fixing the wrong tooth). the new Dentist provided me with the right pricing and right coverage and I ended up fixing the right tooth and paying only $175 for root canal plus $366 for Crowning Instead of $1250 and i feel much better now.all over the years i ve been with them and paying way more than it should be cuz I trusted them and never wondered why but it looks like you should keep an eye on your coverage and right pricing if you decide to go to this Dentistry.Thanks

East Market Dental is the only dental office who will work on my teeth. I am a commercial and print model in New York City and my smile is important. The staff is professional and personable. They take pride in their work!I have been a patient of East Market Dental approaching two years. The entire staff is kind and professionals.The work recently done continues to add to my smile. Several strangers have stopped me to compliment me on my smile. I still have more work to have done on my teeth and cant wait to see my new and improve smile!

Everyone at East Market dental was extremely professional and kind. They were up-front and clear with pricing and helped me work through my nerves while I got my wisdom teeth removed. I definitely recommend them to anyone who is apprehensive to visit the dentist!

I had two wisdom teeth extracted here two weeks ago.I found them by looking up wisdom tooth removal on Google, and East Market Dental showed up on the ad banners at the top. They were running a promotion for new patients that do not have dental insurance. I was able to get all of the information I needed and make the appointment by email, never having to pick up the phone or go in person. The receptionist was prompt and kind in our email threads - she replied to all of my emails within minutes. For perspective, I reached out to five places and East Market Dental was the first to get back to me and the only ones that didnt ask me to come in or call to give me more information or discuss prices. I like the pricing to be open, honest, and up front without hidden fees, and that is what I got; what I was told by email matched what I was charged. My final bill for the entire process (including every consultation, post-consultation medicine, etc.) for the two wisdom tooth extractions in one session was around $940 (your fees may differ because I did this taking advantage of the promotion). I asked to do the initial consultation/X-ray and extraction all in one go and the process took a bit under two hours in total.The office is located in a really great/calm area in Fairfax. Inside, the place is clean, new/modern, and organized. During all of my time at the office, I was surrounded by two or three people giving me full attention and listening carefully to my concerns/background. When I got to the surgery room, I was told the seat I was on had settings for heating and massage. They offered me juice since I had not had breakfast in the morning. It seemed that they had communicated all of my information and preferences in between themselves while I was not around and were already prepared when I arrived.The surgeon that did the extractions was knowledgeable, confident, and professional, so throughout the surgery I felt safe that she knew exactly what she was doing. During surgery, under Nitrous Oxide gas sedation (laughing gas), I felt relaxed - the gas makes you feel comfortable, and it wares off soon after the gas mask is removed, so I was able to drive back home. I was concerned about my gagging reflex since I tend to do this a lot when dentists reach the back of my mouth, but that actually never happened. I kept my eyes closed throughout most of the procedure, so I never saw any blood or teeth, and the extraction was gentle.After the surgery I was getting worried about the bleeding not stopping because it starts being a concern after 24 hours at which point you should call the office - but it ceased within ~20 hours. I was able to stop taking the pain medication (Ibuprofen) within 3 days because I did not feel any pain. Some stitches on my more troubling wisdom tooth side limited my jaw movement because they pulled my inner cheek, but my jaw movement returned within the week.They schedule a short follow-up appointment two weeks after the surgery to make sure that everything went well (it is included in the price of the removal so there were no surprises there, and since the appointment is short, they give you plenty of freedom to choose the exact scheduling time). Once again, I was treated with kindness, respect, and given lots of attention by multiple staff members trying to address every one of my concerns before I even asked anything. They will probably give you a syringe to spray/clean the stitches (note that the stitches will accumulate food and will start to give off smell should you not clean them - so make sure to do the salt water rinses they recommend and you will notice lots of leftover food coming out).Today, 16 days later, I am eating any foods I want to and having no problems at all, I am just about back to normal. Between the professional and caring/kind staff, the great amount of attention they gave me, the fact that I basically did not feel any pain at all, and the really great atmosphere, I cannot say enough nice things about this place.

I just recently visited East Market Dental. It was a great experience from the start. The receptionist was friendly and made sure she had all the information she needed from me so that check-in the day of my appointment was seamless and easy. Nikki the hygienist was fantastic and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I was able to meet with Dr. Julija and Dr. Sareen, but were great and explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable to whole time. I highly recommend this place!

East Market Dental is tops in about every way. Professional care, that is caring, Dr. Sareen explains everything so well and takes the time to make sure i understand. The office staff also very pleasant and helpful, Jay stays on top of everything with the schedule and insurance--makes a big difference. Last the office itself is beautiful with relaxing music, and videos and even massage dental chairs. Fully recommend!

I have been here a few times now and plan to be back. They provide great dental care and are transparent about the pricing of specialty treatments. The comfy adjustable seats and TVs in each exam room are a nice perk as well.

I am very nervous when it comes to getting work done on my teeth. Ive had some bad experiences in the past. But I have been going to East Market Dental for the past 3 years and have been very pleased with my experiences there. The front desk staff is friendly and understanding. The dentists have done great work on my cavities and even when needing a crown. The dental assistants are all kind and caring. They are good with checking in on me because they know Im nervous about dental work. Each chair has its own tv where you can choose shows from Netflix or youtube or just listen to music or watch beautiful scenery. I am thankful for this office!!

First off let me say since the jump the doctor has been great. I needed to find someone who was going to be affordable & would be able to take me right away. Unfortunately in Virginia They don’t take my insurance so I was going to be paying out of pocket. I called the same day they gave me an estimate for my wisdom tooth & the estimate he gave me was the same one I paid for when I got there & got me in the same day. ALSO they will take an XRAY from any doctor so you won’t be charged to do one there. I drove 45 minutes to have a great experience.I was so nervous while waiting for the doctor. I waiting about 15 minutes for her to come in but she was dealing with another patient which was totally fine. The whole time her assistant was sitting with me & Talking. I couldn’t have my fiancé in the room so he made sure I was ok. As soon as she came in she diagnosed my tooth & gave me anesthesia. She started off with me giving me two injections then I waited 5 minutes. After the 5 minutes I still wasn’t numb enough so she gave me more. After that I was completely numb. Didn’t feel a thing. She talked me through the whole process & made sure I understood the consent form about the affects afterwards that could happen. I was completely nervous & she made sure I was relaxed before starting.During the process I didn’t feel a thing, all you feel is some pressure but no sharp pain. The only negative thing is when she cleaned around the inside because of the infection I had I did have some sharp pain in my nerve. She stopped right away & gave me more anesthesia she didn’t continue to touch the area until the anesthesia hit in.After I left she sent my prescriptions right over to the pharmacy I didn’t have to wait more then a hour to get my medications. Unfortunately the medications she proscribed me WEREN’T strong enough. I called the next morning to explain the pain I was having & to let her know it was getting hard to swallow because of my glands. She right away prescribed with new medication as well new antibiotics which I was having a weak reaction to.As of right now, a day & a half later or having the tooth pulled I do continue to have swelling but my pain is so much better. She gave me tips on how to make the swelling go down & didn’t hesitate to say if I needed anything to call. I didn’t understand the medications she gave me so I called & they walked me through what each one was.OVERALL, she is a great doctor. I’ve never been to her before & i’m not from here so I just had to go with my instinct & it was a great choice.If anyone has any questions in regards to have she works & my experience please reach out ...Thank you so much for making my process easier for me to get through (-:

I had an infection caused by a broken tooth, which was pulled out by East Market Dental. However, the dentist didnt clean up the infected tissues. Therefore, the infected tissues are simply covered inside after the wound healed. Antibiotics given by the dentist couldnt solve the problem. This infection is very hard to clean up now. I keep getting problems because of this.

Quite possibly the greatest dentist on the planet. If you or someone you know is apprehensive about having an extraction done. The professional staff will put you at ease and have you wondering what you were so worried about.

Wonderful atmosphere in the waiting room and in the procedure area. Employees are also very professional and sensitive to your needs. East Market Dental also grants the Groupon they have advertised. What was a little over $6,000 for invisalign came out only a little over $4,000 with the Groupon. I love this place! They also grant PPO insurance.
