I had never been to a chiropractor prior to my experience with Dr Ben. I actually had no idea I was in need of one until I pinched my sciatic nerve and realized I had a lower disc issue in my back. I came to Dr Ben in desperation to help with the pain as I was unable to sit at my desk and work without excruciating pain. I had 0 hope I would be able to fully recover… until I was able to finally resume life with no pain and feel stronger than before. Very thankful for the service and I hope others read this and consider going if they are in a similar situation.

Dr. Ben is a superb and wonderfully kind doctor. Ive seen various chiropractors and physical therapists over the years, and hes the best. He seeks to understand the whole persons health, not just the spine. As someone with fibromyalgia and scoliosis, his understanding of autoimmune issues and specialized training in neurology make him the perfect fit. Highly recommend.

I do NOT recommend going here! The doctor charged me more than he was supposed to according to my Explanation of Benefits and my insurance provider attempted to work with the doctor to have a refund issued. After numerous attempts and several voicemails, the insurance provider was unable to resolve the situation. Since then I have sent multiple emails to Dr. Ben regarding the refund and I have yet to receive a response despite having being asking him about this for over a month. Most recently I threatened to write a negative review if I did not receive a response and here I am.. Next stop is the BBB and any other platform that I can add a negative review for this unethical business. Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor that will treat you with respect and conduct business in an ethical manner.

I visited Dr Ben after a recommendation from a friend for my knee injury. This was my first time getting a treatment from a chiropractor. After couple of months I am healed and so thankful that I can go back to my running. The facility is nice and kept clean, I had no concerns visiting during Covid -19 months. I highly recommend.

I have been coming here for 6 months and couldnt be happier. Dr. Ben and the staff are super friendly and so welcoming. Ive feel completely different from when I initially started coming here. Since I have been consistent with my appointments, I feel so much better. I have also learned some valuable stretches and exercises to use on my own between visits. Ive had a lot of bad experiences with doctors and medical professionals so I was very skeptical when I first went to Dr. Ben. Its now been several years and I still go to him. He actually cares if his patients improve, and its such a relaxing and caring environment. As an ex dancer I have lots of old injuries but for the first time in my life Im seeing improvements and Im able to live my life without constant pain. Seriously, this man is amazing. 💯

I have been a patient at the Chiropractic and Physical Therapy Center for several years. I go for bi-weekly adjustments and care to keep my back in shape and to keep it from going out. I used to have back episodes at least once a year that would have me on the floor for multiple days and out of work. As long as Im consistent with my appointments and see Dr. Ben, I rarely have back episodes now. Dr. Ben and the entire staff are great and have created a friendly and family like environment. They get to know you and are vested in ensuring that you stay as healthy and as pain free as possible. Dr. Ben really cares about making sure you are getting the treatments that help for your existing issues and helping with any new aches and pains you might develop.We get our teeth checked twice a year and a physical yearly, we should take care of our backs and joints just as well, by treating them to routine care by a caring professional like Dr. Ben and his team.

I first came here looking for physical therapy for my shoulder, but I ended up getting a lot more help than I expected. They had to take some x-rays of my spine and they noticed some lower back damage and a little bit my neck. About a week after I started going there three times a week and getting adjustments I didnt realize how much pain I was in and just dealing with it.Dr. Ben has great bedside manner, which is great he makes you feel comfortable because hes basically going to twist you up into a pretzel and jump on you to release the tension in your back. It sounds weird but feels great. Ive been going for a month now and have seen a bunch of differences I no longer have headaches I dont have back pain at all anymore Im overall a lot happier because I dont have pain anymore. Pain I didnt even realize I had.For the physical therapy you really have to keep doing it they show you how to do it but you have to do it every day and it takes a commitment but if you do it you will get better fast. Paulina and Jordan The physical therapists are Great to work with. Paulina always takes her time making sure that my position is good for the moves and if I cant do it there are other things that she could help me with or move down the difficulty with different exercises.Overall of had a terrific experience ever someone who had a sports injury like me, they really help me get back to where I was as fast as they could. Im going to continually see them, because of my back issues, because I dont want to relapse and I know they will keep me continuously in good shape.

Ive known Ben for years, but never needed the help of a chiropractor until a few months ago when I began having back spasms. But in talking to him about my aches and pains, I came to realize that my back issues were not my biggest problem. My left shoulder was. He treated my shoulder first and within weeks it felt markedly better! Then he he moved on to treating my back spasms. 2 months later and both shoulder and back feel great.

Finding this place was a life changer for me. I have been suffering from plantar fasciitis for almost 2 years now and after countless visits to podiatrists, foot doctors, specialists, getting cortisone shots, only Dr Ben was able to help and heal me. What I enjoy the most is his genuine interest in his customers developments towards getting better. He is flexible, knowledgeable and always willing to help however he can. His staff is also very kind and tentative and make you feel very comfortable and appreciated.

Dr. Ben is very knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. The facility itself is a little small and it can get somewhat cozy there but its a minor thing. The staff is professional, courteous and is fairly friendly in general. The only reason why its not a 5 is because appointments dont start right on time and there is usually some wait in the lobby. The wait time is not horrible but there is definitely some room for improvement. This said, one of the biggest strengths of this place is their flexibility to accommodate pretty specific time slots and last minute cancellations.

The doctor has been very conscientious and attentive to my chiropractic needs, even calling to follow up with me after visits as necessary. I feel we’ve made excellent progress.

I have been seeing Dr. K & A since early this year for back aches, spasms and trying to get my new knee to work properly. I would have pain, sitting, walking and doing just everything days. NOW I can say that I get out of bed most mornings and am able to do everything that I need to do for the day without warming things up. I am no longer in constant pain and even feel a little taller.My husband, Steve has been going to Dr. K for a couple of years now to deal with constant pain all over his body (due to a broken back in a skydiving accident in the early 80s) and he is now able to work again (he is a contractor) and able to do household chores on a regular basis. He still gets regular adjustments and it has given him his life back.I have also recommended Dr. K and Dr. A to my parents that are in their mid-70s and they both go there now. My mother was told that she would have to deal with her frozen shoulder until time came to replace the shoulder! I am happy to say that she now has about 3/4s of her range of motion back and working on full range of motion in just a couple of months under the Drs Care.Maryann and the staff are awesome! Even though this is an extremely busy office they all work together like a well-oiled machine and make sure that they do it with a smile and a kind word. Dr. Ben is fantastic. I was stiff and did not have that much range of motion when I came to the practice. Dr. A. is the best! Very laid back and easy going personality, expert chiropractor. As a child I was in 2 different school bus crashes, and when I was in my early 20s I was rear-ended by a speeding 16 yr old. I also used to have a very slumped posture. Thank you, Dr. K. Earlier this week I walked at a fast pace pulling a suitcase through Dulles Airport to the furthest gate, shopped more than an hour at a large grocery store and biked more than half an hour at medium resistance on my recumbent bike. Before seeing Dr. K. for the first time about two months ago I could have done none of the above. I had seen a neurologist, an acupuncturist, two physical therapists, a pain specialist and a dry needling specialist. Dr. K.took the slow, patient route, bringing me along slowly and restoring movement to a jammed SI joint, then adding baby exercises to strengthen a very weak hip. Dont go to him expecting instant cure. Go for the long haul (you didnt get this way in two weeks and I cant set you right in two weeks, he told me). Be proactive and involved and do the exercises you are assigned faithfully. If anyone can help you, I think Dr. K can. Just so you dont think Im his wife or daughter writing a glowing review, I will tell you that his office is often over-booked, slow and disorganized. Its because so many people like me keep coming back and, foolishly (tongue-in-cheek), writing positive reviews like this!

Within the first couple of sessions, the numbness in my feet showed a marked improvement. Doctors are extremely knowledgeable and spend time to know how you are doing at each session. Therapists and office staff are friendly and caring!

I came to the Chiropractic & Physical Therapy Center with internal chest pain. After being sent home from the ER twice (I thought I was having a heart attack) I decided to try chiropractic. They were not only able identify areas of weakness in my neck and tensions I was holding in my upper back, but they also worked diligently and gently to adjust me and help me get stronger. After three weeks of care I feel brand new and have much greater range of motion. Not to mention that all of my symptoms are gone.The doctors take their time identifying the problems and educating their clients along with the care they provided. I strongly suggest coming in to see Dr.Ben, Dr. K and Dr.A. They were each so kind and genuinely concerned.

Avoid this business!!!They charged my daughter at the time of service (January), then got paid IN FULL by my insurance company (February). When I found out, I contacted them to get a reimbursement, but they refuse to address the problem. The office manager will not even take my calls. It is now May! Theyve been holding my money for a long time...I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and the VA State Police Stamp Out Fraud programs so that this type of scam will be stopped!

I cant thank Dr. Ben and his staff enough. Ive had severe migraines since what seems like forever, at least since high school. Nothing ever worked, I did medication, botox, even acupuncture, with only mild results. Dr. Ben spent time with me to explain how the brain works, how my neck and spine can affect my headaches, and put together a complete plan (including diet!) on how to improve them. After a month, my headaches went from almost every day to none at all!! Its been 3 months, and Ive only had one headache, which was mild at best. I cannot believe how my life has changed. I can sleep better, I have more energy, I feel like an entirely different person. I am truly grateful for finding this place. The staff is super friendly, they explained their fees and my insurance benefits up front, before starting a tailor made plan that was specific for my issues. I felt like I was the only one there because of the amount of attention I received. I also learned how to better my diet and avoid food and habits that could make my symptoms worse. Now I have a plan for home, and I feel in control. I still check in once a month to be preventive and keep my nerves, spine, and overall health at their best. Ive learned a lot and have referred family members. If youre suffering from headaches or neck pain, and want to avoid drugs and short term solutions, youve got to see Dr. Ben. He took his time, and helped me get my life back. Thank you very much.

Update: Look at YELP reviews too about other peoples bad experiences similar to mine.BE CAREFUL! I asked the cost for office visit/ adjustment BEFORE I went in and they charged me something completely different! I was visiting Fairfax from AZ July of 2016. I needed to see a chiropractor because of some awful pain I was having and I wasnt sure if i could wait until I got home. I called the office and asked what the cost would be to see the doctor and get adjusted. I explained I was from out of state and just needed to see if I could get some temporary relief until I got home and could see my regular chiropractor. They knew I was not from the area and they would never see me again. They agreed to help and made me an appointment. They gave me the price, I saw the doctor, I checked out and paid the agreed fee. Four months later, at the end of October, I received a bill in the mail requesting additional money. I assumed this had to be a mistake. I called the office and the lady I spoke with told me this was the cost and did not care that I was told a different fee. I was completely shocked. I thought I would reach out to Dr. Glassman because I thought he would understand and correct the problem for me. He also stood by the additional fee they decided to charge me (4 months after the fact). I let him know I could not pay a fee that was not presented up front, especially when I directly asked what fees I would be required to pay before services and paid them before I left the office. In February of 2017, I received a letter from a collection agency. I responded to them explaining the shady business practice and disputed the fee. I had not heard anything more about it until today, September 1st, 2017. I received a call from Danielle at their office. She told me I was going to be sent to collections if I didnt pay the fee. I told her that I was already sent to collections and received a letter from them over 6 months ago. She did not have any record of it and seemed very confused. I let her know that I had responded to them and disputed the fee. She wasnt sure what to say. This office needs to get their act together. I had not written a bad review yet because that is not something I generally do. I feel like I am being hassled. They obviously told me it would cost one thing, but then charged me another. They should honor the price they quoted me when I called before any services were received. Needless to say, the doctor did not provide any relief to me on that day and I am being hassled over $60. I am a person who pays my bills, but I cannot pay this because it is wrong on so many levels.Think about this...If you know you will never see someone again and you think they owe you $500, why would you only collect half of that upon their departure? This does not make any sense unless you decide they owe more 4 months later.So disappointing that this offce took advantage of someone who was in a lot of pain.BEWARE OF THIS PRACTICE AND GET THE COST IN WRITING BEFORE RECEIVING SERVICES IF YOU CHOOSE TO GO HERE.

I started going because I was experiencing neck and back pain. I have been going for a couple of months and feel a major difference. Dr K and his staff are all very wonderful caring people who take the time to get to know you and remember things about you. My schedule is often very hectic and they are always accomidating! I would highly recommend Dr K, he truley cares about fixing the problems to improve your health!

I have been going to Dr. Glassman and the Chiropractic & Physical Therapy center for over 10 years. I started going to the Chiropractic & Physical Therapy center after herniating several disks in my back which put me in the hospital and with an orthopedist who prescribed a minimal therapy supplemented with drugs, which I refused to take the drugs. When insurance ran out and therapy stopped, the pain returned very quickly and I sought out Chiropractic & Physical Therapy Center based on a recommendation of my daughter who had received treatment there. Dr. Glassman evaluated and explained my condition in a manner that I could understand. Dr. Glassman and the staff set up a treatment and conditioning program for me that has taken the pain out of my life. Subsequently Dr. Glassman has assisted me with overcoming several sprains of my ankles and shoulders as has also assisted me with dietary suggestions including choosing vitamin supplements. For maintenance purposes I seek treatment from Dr. Glassman monthly and enjoy his always positive outlook and his thoughts on preserving my overall health. I highly recommend Dr. Glassman and his great staff at the Chiropractic & Physical Therapy Center.

Unreal. I met Dr. Glasman at the gym when he was offering a free check up if you have pain and I told him about my shoulder pain/rotator cuff. He told me that hes familiar with this and that I should come in and see him to get a full evaluation. After coming in for an evaluation ($25 fee) and getting xrays($45 fee) Dr. Glasman told me that they need a day to go over the info to come up with a plan. I came in again and Dr. Glasman told me that he recommends 25 sessions, and proceeded to give me treatment by cracking by back/neck,etc. He then walked me over to the therapy part of the office where I found out THERE IS NO PHYSICAL THERAPIST AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT?!!?!?! I was given stim and roller bed by an amateur nurse, who then showed me a variety of stretches that she read off a piece of paper. After that my treatment was done. The office admin told me that Id be only charged for the chiropractor copay since THEY DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL THERAPIST?? WHY DID THEY WAIT THIS LONG TO TELL ME THAT?! They told me that Id only pay the chiropractor copay until they hire a physical therapist, at which point Id have to pay both the copay for a session of physical therapy AND chiropractor?? Good way to lure in clients, but I left feeling scammed for sure. Im sure Dr. Glasman is good at what he does, but man is this place misleading!! Dont go here for physical therapy BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE A PHYSICAL THERAPIST.

Ive been under Dr. Ks care for years and, quite simply, it makes my life better. When I hurt my back the first time I went to my MD and he prescribed rest and pain meds. I tried that for a couple weeks and it did nothing for me. My back didnt get better and the pain meds stoppedworking. A friend told me about Chiropractic and Dr. K so I decided to give it a try. Within two weeks I started to feel better and after a month I was back to normal. Over the years whenever I have any sort of trouble I head in to Dr. K and Dr. A and get the problem fixed. The experience I’ve had with Dr. Ben has truly been life changing. I rarely write reviews so when I do, it’s for good reason.I’ve had chronic knee pain in both knees the past three years now. It’s bothered me when I golf, get in and out of my car, and even just getting out of bed in the morning. My medical doctor would just give me pain medications and the occasional Cortizone shot every few months and I would feel better maybe for a week until the pain came back. I was also referred to supposedly, “the best orthopedist,” in the area at Ortho Virginia. The specialist there spent maybe ten minutes assessing me, and said I need arthroscopic surgery and told the nurse to set a date. I felt uncomfortable and unsatisfied with the diagnosis and push for surgery. Needless to say I got the heck out of there, still in pain. Another month goes by and my symptoms haven’t changed. After spending time doing a lot of searching, I came across Dr. Glasman’s practice and figured another opinion couldn’t hurt. I was skeptical at first because of some mixed reviews, but gave it a chance since I had never seen a Chiropractor before. I’m so thankful I made that call!On the first day, Dr. Ben spent an entire hour assessing, not only my knee, but my ankle, hip and entire alignment and gait. He performed an extensive orthopedic exam, neuro exam, and tests no other doctor checked, to assess my balance, strength, and stability. I was impressed and came for a follow up to go over my results. He did agree with the other docs that there is some arthritis in the knees, but he believed with conservative therapy, we would be able to avoid surgery. I also found out that the problems in my hip mobility was actually placing added stress to my knees, which no one else even looked at. I gave therapy a chance and within two months I was walking, waking, and exercising without any pain! It was incredible. In addition to my knees, the doctor worked on the entire body, and helped my hip and back mobility so much that I feel better playing golf, and can get more power behind my swing. This is the best I’ve felt in years and would highly, highly recommend those with back and knee issues to come to this office. The doctor definitely makes me work, giving me exercises to do in addition to the therapy in the office. I also really enjoyed the free lectures and education, so I know how to prevent future injuries. This place is one in a million and hope others get the help they are looking for here.

For the last 3 years I had been dealing with a aching pain in my left hip. I thought it would go away eventually. I saw 3 different orthopedic surgeons who talked about surgery, and a couple of physical therapists. The pain continued. I was given cortizone shots, therapy treatment, drugs. Nothing helped. I was in constant pain and unable to sleep or walk. A friend of mine told me about Dr. K and how he had helped her. I made an appointment. After the first visit my walking improved. Dr. K prescribed different types of exercises that could help me. I visited his office for a few months, learning various exercises and therapy. It was well worth taking the time to keep my appointments with him because I started noticing the difference and the pain was going away. Because of the special attention Dr. K gave to my specific condition, I no longer have the excrutiating pain I had. Dr. K treated me without drugs. He taught me exercises and provided therapy treatments that would help my body heal itself. Thanks to Dr. K, Im doing remarkably well. Prior to visiting Dr. K, I thought Id never be able to hike or walk long distances again. I can now do all the activities I could do prior to the condition. Dr. K cares so much about helping me improve the quality of my life. He is the best doctor Ive ever had. Through the treatment, I have learned so much about my body and how to improve the quality of my life. I cant say enough about how Dr. K has helped me. My name is Starr Sharif, Dr. Bens patient. I was referred by one of my friends who was getting treatment at Fairfax Chiropractor.My symptoms were I couldnt walk, lower back pain and neck pains. I was feeling that my leg were pulled back while I was walking. In the mornings I had to crawl like a baby in the morning.After they took the X-ray, Doctor Ben advised me that I have (Degenerative disc in the middle and lower back and Sclerosis in my neck) which is I he can treat and fix the problems for me. He advised me to receive treatment three times a week and I came for 18 days to Fairfax chiropractor clinic and do some exercises at home given to me by Dr. Ben I was feeling better each time I received the therapy, exercises, and evaluation from Dr. Ben. When I came to Dr. Kowarski, I had some back pain from years of sports and working in the fitness industry on my feet. I also had a nagging, three year- old shoulder injury that I was too stubborn to take care of. Being a personal trainer in the health and fitness industry, my expectations were high. From the very beginning, I was impressed. My first visit was for X-Rays. Most doctors’ offices you wait days for an X-Ray review and then several days to see the doctor. I did that all in ONE day. After working on my back for several weeks, Dr. K did some more intensive work on my shoulder.After several weeks, he was able to get it back to the way it was before I was injured...I NEVER thought that was possible. I competed in my 6th triathlon in September of 2012 (My first one with a healthy shoulder), and I hit a personal record for completing it in the fastest that I have ever done. I went into Dr. Kowarskis office in late February of this year. My symptom; it felt like I was being punched in the kidney with every step I took. I have received treatment at the Chiropractic & Physical Therapy Center in Fairfax for my neck pain and a hip flexor strain. I have had great success with the treatments and am now nearly pain free!The front office staff are friendly and very efficient and the assistants are also wonderful with the therapy treatments. As a licensed physical therapist and massage therapist myself, I understand what it takes to provide patient care. They do an excellent job! I would definitely recommend Drs. Kowarski and Glasman.

As a 51-year old weekend soccer warrior, I was on a crash course with a hip replacement until I happened upon Dr. Kowarski. I would limp home after every game with hip flexor, joint, and hamstring pain. Now, after seeing Dr. Kowarski once every other week for about two and a half months, I am essentially pain-free after even two soccer games in consecutive days. Though I may eventually need a hip replacement (my dad had two), I feel that day has at least been delayed. And being pain-free alone is well-worth the surprisingly low cost of treatment (low even though my insurance will not cover it).The other day I walked into his office and could barely raise my arm. I had hurt it by, of all things, raising my referee flag too vigorously in two soccer games. Dr. Kowarski layed me down, manipulated the muscles in my shoulder somehow, and I was immediately able to raise my arm with more strength and less pain. Though not an instant cure -- he recommended some rehab exercises -- it felt better, which is a necessary precondition for rehab.Note: I am endorsing Dr. Kowarski in particular, not chiropractic in general, because I have not made a study of the practice. In different hands, who knows? But I know what my body tells me so far.

This place has really gone downhill. Dr. K used to care about his patients. The new owner just wants money. I have going to them for years. Never again.

We brought my son here twice. Horrible service. Lots of waiting, both in the waiting room and in the exam room. Whats the point of making an appointment if they blow that time by 30 - 45 minutes.
