I was admitted to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital on Tue with a non passable kidney stone. Dr Sharp was my doctor. A temporary stent was put in till the stone could be removed. Wed I began having issues with the stent and it multiplied by Thu morning. We could not reach the office by phone so we went in. They made room for us to be seen and then redid the schedule to get me in for surgery in 6 days as opposed to the 2-3 weeks we were told before.

Very pleasant experience. Straight forward doctors and nurses that encourage people to view issues they are having as not shameful, but a medical issue that needs attention. Examinations are fast and discreet with immediate actions taken as needed. Would recommend for anyone needing help in any area of Urology.

Today was my 1st visit here. I was a patient of dr. Huffer’s. Unfortunately, he moved to Juneau. His office referred me to Fairbanks Urology. So I was nervous and skeptical as to what was in store for me. Well I saw a gentleman who came in and introduced himself as a P.A. Zachary Ritter. And I had explained what brought me in. And after bout 15 min. I realized that he was alright. He was honest with me. He answered my questions. And just to top that off, he had the best bedside manner that I’ve seen in a long span of years. I was definitely more at ease. I felt confident in his course of action and had a very good understanding of why and what to do until then. Extremely patient, people oriented and caring. Handled himself professionally. I learned he once was a paramedic and that said a lot. Especially as paramedics are very good with any kind of people. Definitely in good hands and in a good place. I recommend with no hesitation.

Very nice and organized facilities. Well equipped and lots of patients moving in and out. So far I like the treatment and will see what future will have in my health care...Note: little confusing driving into their facility ,they need a better markers or direction arrows ➡️⬇️ to their building .... not a big deal

It was my second appointment after the grand opening. No delays whatsoever, I was invited to the office perfectly on time. They have their own lab, which makes certain tests ready in half an hour and eliminates a need for the second visit. Great convenience. All my medical options were discussed in details. Now I am an established patient.

Dr. Tony Nimeh and his associate, Ashley Brouwer, are two oases of competency in the medical desert of Alaska when it comes to urology, and men and womens hormonal well-being. The community is very fortunate to have Dr. Nimehs practice in Fairbanks and I can make that statement on the combined experience of me and my family over the past several years. He is the best in this state and I have counterparts in Anchorage who would agree with me!

I have had several procedures done at Fairbanks Urology and they have been very successful. All of the folks I have dealt with there are knowledgeable and helpful. They have always done all they can to to make me me feel comfortable when I have had rather uncomfortable procedures done there and they explain what the procedure involves in a way a non-medical person can understand. My only complaint is that, even though I arrive for my appointments on-time or a little early, I always have long waits in the waiting room before I am called in.

Nice and courteous staff and doctors. I don’t look forward to going back ha ha, but if I do I would definitely go back to them for sure. And light up the parking lot 😃

Dr. Nimeh and his people are very through and treated me with care. All i can say is good vibes from them. I definitely recommend this team if you have issues that come up with kidneys.

After being in the ER twice discovering I had Kidney Stones then sent home with pain meds that didn’t work. I was finally referred to Dr. Niemh. He informed me that not only I had kidney stones on my right but also on my left. All too large to pass on my own and one so big it was stopping my kidney from draining risking me to become septic. He immediately scheduled me the NEXT day for the removal of the stone and to help me get through that day he gave me an injection for pain along with antibiotics and a steroid. After that he was able to get me in for a second procedure then a third to get the stones out of my left, all in one month. I’m so grateful for him to take care of me so quickly and carefully. That was by far the worst pain I’ve ever been in, and I’ve been through child birth. So happy it’s over. If you’re having urinary issues go see Dr. Nimeh. He and his staff are wonderful.

Dr. Nimeh is really good, all his staff too (enjoyed listening to some favorite music during procedure- which they provided).The Urolift has improved my urinary problems dramatically and made that function work like it did in my 20s. Recently cut my flomax dosage in 1/2 with success.I was building my cabin foundation, and stopped only a few days following the procedure. I was doing hard physical work shortly thereafter.St C

Ive been to Fairbanks Urology several times, even though the staff is very pleasant to work with I always end up waiting for an hour or more after my scheduled appointment. I sit here today waiting 1.5 hours so far and have not seen the Dr. Yet. If I schedule an appointment, I would expect it to be around that time, not an hour or two later. My last visit I spent almost 2.5 hours, just to receive my testosterone pellets. Time management is not their strongest trait.

Fairbanks Urology was very efficient and the procedure was taken care of by consumate professionals. I would recommend them to anyone requiring help in the urology realm.

The Front Desk reception staff are extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The medical assistants are professional and compassionate.
