It is very rare that I get this upset to write a post like this. On Tuesday I found out that Milynn had a very serious injury to her shoulder from wrestling. Our Doctor immediately referred her to an orthopedic doctor in an urgent status. When I called to make an appointment the secretary asked me what kind of insurance she had and then her tone of voice changed and she said she would return my call later. The following day I hadnt heard from them so I called again. The secretary asked me again what type of insurance she had and said that even though they accepted that medical plan, she would have to give the referral to the doctor and he would decide if it was worth his time to take her on as a patient. They would return my call in a week. Those were her exact words. I even repeated back to make sure I heard her correctly and she confirmed. I am absolutely disgusted by this uncompassionate Doctor and staff. Even if they did decide to take her on as a patient, they do not deserve to put hands on my daughter and care for her. They made it clear that their reimbursement from her medical superseded the care that she deserved. I would not recommend this surgeon to anyone. I would also recommend for anyone who decides to go through this facility to read other reviews prior.
