The staff at south everyday family dental are very proficient, friendly, and thorough. I have been with them longer than any other dental practice. They are very easy to deal with when dealing with insurance issues as well. I give them 5 stars.

Visited the dentist 3 different times, once for a cleaning and check-up and twice for fillings. I hadnt been to a dentist in about 4 years, so I wasnt sure if I really had a terrible experience or if I just didnt remember how bad the dentist was. Ive since been to another dentist, and the difference is night and day - the staff at South Everett Family Dentistry did a terrible job on my teeth, and with their customer service as well.For the first fillings, it felt like they used a much huger needle than I remember ever being used before - it instantly made me cry, almost felt like they had went into the jaw muscle or something, and I usually have a high pain tolerance (piercings and tattoos, etc). After the filling, my face was swollen for an entire month, and I was unable to chew on that side. I called them 2 weeks out and asked if that was normal, and they said yes. I went back for the second filling a month after the first ones, and said my face still hurt. We decided to use laughing gas rather than the huge needle this time, and I think they messed that part up. They were tinkering with it for at least 30 minutes trying to adjust it, and then they gave me way too much. I remember feeling terrible, and asked if I could use the bathroom, and then suddenly vomited everywhere. We had to continue the fillings without any numbing, and they were extremely rude and condescending about why I vomited, etc. Im not sure if its from the laughing gas or from them messing it up, but they were entirely shifting the blame on me for eating that day, etc. They said theyd call and check up on me, and they never did.Ive since been to a different dentist (Gentle Dental in Lynnwood), and theyre amazing. So much smaller needles, much faster and easier procedures, and my face feels perfectly fine just a week after 2 fillings. The difference is insane.Id never recommend this dentist.

Dr. Shin is a fantastic dentist. She does everything she can to make you feel comfortable. During my crown, fillings and even cleanings she always stopped to ask how I was doing and if I was feeling any pain. Truly excellent care from all the staff. The dentist is skilled at troubleshooting problems. I’ve had no problems after treatments done here. I’ve moved but I still travel back here for oral care.

I was offered what they consider their own insurance which made my cost cheaper on my first visit and will be considerably cheaper on any subsequent visit. Extremely good dental skills, I felt no pain with the shot and she informed me of her procedure prior to performing them keeping this a low-stress procedure

I have been a long-time client, and noted that the transition of the practice was seamless. In diagnosing my first case of tooth pain, Dr. Shin did not jump to conclusions, but instead adjusted my night guard, which resolved the pain. In the case of my second tooth pain issue, Dr. Shin made a stepwise plan so that we would eliminate other possibilities before concluding that I had a cracked tooth under a crown. When, after some time passed and the pain remained, she decided there was no option but to cut off the crown, it was true that there was a cracked tooth underneath, which she successful restored. During a routine filling replacement, it was discovered that a root canal was needed, and Dr. Shin was able to successfully perform that on the spot. I have the utmost confidence in this dentists diagnostic abilities and skill level. Her hygienists, dental assistant, and front-desk administrator are also top-notch. I feel very fortunate to be in such capable hands.

Wasnt able to work thing out with them, lady on phone didnt seem to want to be there. I have good dental coverage.they seem to have a great Dr i wish the phon3 service was better. I have a have a good ability to pay. So I. Not sure.
