I had S1L5 PLIF done with Dr Miller in July. I am very happy with his surgical skills and my scar is so small and pretty. He is a surgeon.. they are evaluating you from a mechanical view not a social emotional view. He is quick and to the point but my husband and I really enjoy talking with him. He truly does care just not going to coddle you.

Dr. Gallo did my neck fusion and it was a fine experience. However, the NeuroSpine office is a mess. I called it to see Dr. Gallo for neck pain (which Dr. Gallo has been managing for 20 years). They were not nice, they couldnt find my file and claimed that, since I havent seen Dr. for 3 years, I need a referral. MRI also needs to be ordered by another doctor. They insist its the office policy. My insurance doesnt require a referral. When I called my regular Dr. they (rightfully) told me its my surgeon who has to order the MRI. My other option was to go to ER, during the pandemic, and spend hours in line (and $$$, although covered by my insurance) to have the ER order an MRI for the doctor Ive been seeing for 20 years! If you want to deal with compassionate and understanding people, you better avoid this office.

I saw dr Miller the staff was friendly and my surgery was scheduled shortly after my consultation for a C4-5 disk replacement. Surgery went great extremely clean incision and heald nicely. I did find Dr. Miller to be a serious person not all jokes and takes his work very serious I did not find him to be all that warm but I was looking for a surgeon to fix my neck not a life coach to cheer me up or give me a pep talk.I recommend him 10/10Photos of my incision and healing after 3 weeks blends in with natural crease in neck minimal pain

Dr Miller didnt seem at all interested in trying to help me.I SUGGESTED possibly getting cortisone shots for my lower back. He agreed and would schedule appt . Waited 3 weeks no appt so called and very rude gal told me my insurance would not cover. She didnt even try because I would have received a response from my ins co. This place SUCKS

Dr gallo is too worried about her fake nails and high heels to really care about patients. Her staff are very unprofessional and unqualified to be i the positions they are. I would never trust my life with anyone dr gallo or her staff has any part in. She needs to go ballroom dance with her materialistic snobby self and give up the medical field.

All of the 5 star reviews are fake. If you’ve ever been here you know it. I had surgery there 6 months ago after waiting a year for surgery. I never saw the surgeon (Dr Miller) but once before surgery. After surgery I saw his PA who was rude, unhelpful and treated me like I was a drug addict. Never have I ever abused drugs. I’m in healthcare so I’m pretty forgiving for a lot that happens in clinics. Today they canceled my appointment on the 23rd (a week from now), told me to come in today at 3pm. The appointment was to go over the MRI I had done over a month ago. I came a half hour early. They called me back at 3pm and I waited in a room for an hour. Mind you the lobby was empty. No one said a word to me over this 90 minute wait. This is NEURO SURGERY. Find someplace else. This office is lazy and without empathy.

I wish I could give this place negative stars. They have mistreated my fiancé not just as a patient but as a human being. He has been going to Dr. Miller for over a year. The staff has always been rude, short, and just blatantly disrespectful. They treat him like he is a drug addict, mind you he is not even on pain medications or muscle relaxers of any sort. He has herniated disks and severe stenosis. His back injuries aren’t minor. He had an MRI completed 02/20/2021, and an appointment scheduled with NeuroSpine for the end of March to go over said MRI. They called him this morning 3/15/21 and asked that he come in today at 2:45. He showed up at 2:15, they took him back into the room at 2:45, he sat there in the room alone for over an hour. He called me as he was walking out at 3:59pm. He just decided to leave since not one person had come to check on him or say a single word about being behind. As he walked out, not a single staff me ever even acknowledged him. 100% would NOT recommend going here.

Dr. Christopher Miller and staff as well as Two Rivers were excellent! Very confident going into the process and that confidence was well placed. I came back to work two weeks after my C5 replacement and my coworkers couldnt believe I actually had surgery, the incision was placed in a wrinkle and you cant even tell. My pain and arm numbness were gone day one! (it does take a little time to adjust to the new normal and work out the surgery stiffness) now 4 weeks out, I feel better than I have in 2 years! My only regret is that I didnt do this sooner, Yoga and skateboarding, here I come!

I was referred to Dr. Gallo by the Roseburg VA. Dr. Gallos medical assistant Brandy is top notch and ensured that I was aware of all my appointments, and that I was prepared with the proper paperwork, which made the entire process go smoothly. Not only did I receive best treatment, but I got the best patient hospitality as well. Overall it was a great experience, and on top of all that, no more sciatic pain!

Well, to start with, Dr. Gallo has zero bedside manner and I say this because not only did she appear upset right before they took me into the OR, but she, nor did her staff have the courtesy to notify my wife that the surgery went good or bad after I was done! Not a phone call nothing! The hospital nurse had to call my wife as I was on my way upstairs to my room an hour and a half after the Doctor was done. By the way she had my wife’s phone number and knew she was in the waiting room. We had this conversation before surgery, Dr. Gallo and I.I had dropped my disability forms off at their office 3 times now, and have been told twice that they have been faxed to my companies HR, here we are on the third go around and it took yet another call to actually get the forms faxed! This is my paycheck we are talking about that supports my family of 5! I get the feeling I’m not liked by these people but that’s just me and how I feel, I hope I’m right because if this is how they do business I’m shocked that they are still in business. I will never use this doctor or institute again nor would I recommend them to someone else. Very poor customer service and bedside manner. I’ve read reviews about Dr.Gallo since my surgery and what I’m writing mimickes their reviews. As for the surgery I’m a week and a half out and feel a lot better than I did prior so hopefully the disc replacement is a success and she is from what I’ve heard a very good surgeon but that’s about it. No stars here. I guess I have to use 1 star or it won’t let me post it so disregard the one star.👎🏻

Dr Gallo looked at me with absolutely no empathy, with 4 bad discs in my neck and said theres nothing I can do for you. Ive been around these surgeon dealing with them for 17 years and my honest impression is Gallo looks for the straight forward cases, simple surgeries. One of the worst experiences as a patient is when you stand in front of a surgeon and they give you the impression your wasting their time. I regret being referred to this woman.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Phillips for over a year now, and we are blessed to be under his care. There couldnt be a more compassionate, caring, concerned physician. He listens carefully, explains in detail the procedures he is recommending, and takes time to understand our concerns. His office staff and physician assistant, Mark Wells, are also very knowledgable, polite, and caring. We live approximately three hours from Dr. Phillips, and the office staff always attempts to schedule us at a convenient time together. We have complete confidence in Dr. Phillips and his staff, and have referred several friends without reservation to NeuroSpine Institute.

It was a great visit starting with checking in. The lady was very nice which has been each time I was there. Dr. Phillips went over the ct scan I had had showing me different things on the scan. Now setting me up with another doctor to hopefully figure out what is going on. Over all it was a great visit.

I just had my third surgery through NeuroSpine . With Dr. Miller and his team. My neck first then mid back and the latest lower back. I have been blessed to have them. If there are problems they look into and work them out. If you have questions they take the time to answer and explain it to you. I have come a long way in improving my daily life because of them. I recommend and brag about them to everybody I run across that even hints about spine issues.. The office staff there are also very wonderful and helpful people. I had to travel 2 hours to the appointment and arrived 20 minutes early as requested then2 hours and 15 minutes later the doctor came in and spent 10 minutes telling me there was nothing more she could do referee me to a neurologist then a 2 hour ride back home could have easily expressed her opinion over the phone. Dr Angeles is an excellent surgeon and did a great job fixing my neck. Office procedures and post op could use a little tuning up.

Ive had over a dozen procedures and surgeries and it may sound funny, but I always look forward to see the best nurses and support staff every time Im there. They always go above and beyond and I truly feel loved and cared for. Especially Cat, Richard and Brooke. I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Moore, Devon and Michelle helping me with pain management in my spine, pelvis and legs. They are caring and compassionate and continually working with me without hesitation when I call their office. They immediately return calls and arrange for me to come in when I need to and have worked with me to find drug free solutions.

Phone system and front office is a bit unorganized or simply too busy. May need an extra hand. Older woman with blond hair is sweet and helpful. Dr. Gallo has a no nonsense approach. This is an amazing office! If Dr. Gregory Moore was a primary care physician I would sit on a waiting list as long as it took to have him as my primary physician. I would recommend him to anyone. His nurse is amaxing and remembers even the smallest details even about my personal life! I love her! The front desk is polite and I never wait very long. I truly believe Dr Gallo saved my life. I had broken my neck due to a fall and even after my first surgery I was still experiencing pain. I was feeling like my life was over and she never gave up on me. She fought for my insurance company to approve a disc replacement and it was a huge success. She is truly an amazing gifted surgeon. Dr. Moore is the best that I have ever had. He actually looks at you while you are speaking. If he thinks there is something wrong that might need a different Dr to help out he has no problem telling me that. His PA Devon Parks is really good as well. It is a great place. I can get x-rays, scans, etc all done right there. They also have a surgery center on site, as well as a physical therapy office. The surgeons are too notch as is the reception. They probably dont get enough recognition but being the first people that we see they are always polite, helpful and offer a positive greeting. Neurospine is top notch and I recommend it to everybody I know. Thank you all for the great job you do.

The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful & informative. Those that I had contact with are cooperating to meet my needs. The PA-C was very efficient in collecting the needed information and was very clear to tell us what the next step will be.

I came to the Spine Institute about ten years ago for surgery and it was a great experience. A very specific individual experience from the staff. I didnt feel like a nurse was juggling me with handful of other patients like in a hospital setting. Now I go for pain management with Greg Phillips and although the wait time is a bit long the attention and time he gives me is what I ask for and need. I know he is doing that for other people and that is why he may run a little late. So I can accommodate him since he does a great job accommodating my needs.

A new patient of Dr Phillips, at this time I still am in pain but hopefully something can be done eventually. What compelled me to give a review is my experience so far regarding staff, first of all the doctor has never been on time for me I always have to wait at least 45 minutes. His assistant never calls you back even though she gives you her phone number. When you call the main phone number its not unusual to wait 15 minutes before someone answers and twice I was given the wrong phone number for the different departments. If one has the patience and cant find anywhere else to go then you have no other choice but to go there, I know if had different insurance I would find a place that runs a little more smoothly.

Dr. Carmina F Angeles is truly a gifted surgeon! I had a severely herniated disk and would drop to the ground in agony when I tried to stand. I was bedridden for a month wondering if I would ever walk again. When Dr. Angeles saw me she was compassionate, capable, and got down to business. She admitted me immediately to the hospital and worked me into her surgery schedule the following day. The next morning I stood up and the nerve pain was completely gone. Within ten days the surgical pain was also gone. Dr. Angeles has given me my life back. I can never repay her for all shes done for me! I feel better than I have in 30 years!!!

Office was very professional & efficient. I had to wait 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment to get in due to emergencies they had fit in earlier. Dr. Phillips was very thorough & caring in his review of my health history. They did xrays on-site and met with me again to review immediately afterward. Everyone seemed to be very caring & concerned with making sure my questions were answered and concerns were addressed.

Im very pleased with the care I have received at NeuroSpine. Dr Phillips and the staff are always professional and friendly, they are open and willing to work with their patients to provide them with the care they need. I would recommend NeuroSpine to anyone that is dealing with pain issues.

What a Fantastic group of folks. Ive been struggling with neck pain for a few years now and have gotten the run around from a number of doctors, leaving me a tad frustrated. Id seen Dr. Gregory Phillips a few years back and at that time on his suggestion, went the rout of physical therapy. Three years later... time to try something a little more aggressive. With little to no notice, and after getting the cold shoulder from the wonderful people at Slocum.. he set an apt. to see me not only the same day... but immediately. The staff behind the counter were more than just friendly and put me at ease right off the bat. We set the Apt. for an MRI just a few days later and again, every one Ive come across has been great to work with. Ive gotten more answers and have been treated better in three visits to their office than I have in the last three years of dealing with this. Although Ive got another appoint in a couple of days to come up with a treatment plan, I feel confident and secure that these folks are on top of it and Im finally going to get this handled. There is a lot to be said about how the folks at the reception desk treat a patient. For me, It set the tone of how things go from here and I really cant say enough about my experience up to now... and as long as I dont pull to the left when were done... five stars doesnt seem enough. (even if I do end up pulling to the left...sill giving them a solid 3 1/2 stars..)

I have gone here for a few different issues. They have always been courteous and personable. Dr.Phillips has explained everything clearly so there haven’t been any surprises. I feel valued as a patient here.

Outstanding care, always there for me when Ive been in need! My nurses have all been terrific also. I cannot say enough about my Surgeon team, what they accomplished from the old injury, Im very thankful.

Actually, I would have rated it more of a 3.5. Except for my initial contact with office staff at the front desk, I would rate staff at 4. The main problem with the clinic was my wait time. I got to the clinic at 1: 30 for a 1:50 appointment with my paperwork already completed only to learn that they wanted x-rays, even though they had my MRI. X-ray took a good 45 min. to an hour. The rest of the time was waiting for the doctor. My consolation time with the doctor was only about 15 min. So, overall, I was there 135 mins. for a 15 minute consultation. I had a DC appointment set for 2 hr. after this appointment that I was 1/2 hr. late for.

Devon listens. There is no feeling of being rushed. Betsy at front desk is warm and helpful. I like having the convenience of xray and MRI in the same office.

My visit was very good. Hardly any waiting. And very thorough. Really nice. Cant wait to see what they can do for me.

I was referred to Dr. Gallo by a family member and have been very happy with my treatment. Although my back problems werent completely solved, my back was a real mess, I knew I was taking a gamble and hoped that it would be improved. Rating a 3 cause of the office staff, and the girls who answer the phone in the pain management dept. Anytime I have to deal with any office staff they act as though doing their job is inconvenient, they have an attitude if you ask too many questions or if you have to call before 5pm because you’ve been waiting all day for a call back regarding an important matter, and was told you’d get a call back soon ( early in the morning )I see Dana Rubin and I give her a 5 star rating!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ She’s been amazing with helping me get where I’ve needed to be. She always listens to any concerns and gives me advice when I’ve needed it. I highly recommend Dana if you get referred to pain management.

Its always so nerve racking when you have to make a decision to have someone operate on you. Im actually happy to say that I couldnt be happier with the entire experience. I was treated with respect and informed of the process so as to alleviate any stress and anxiety that would accompany such a procedure. The day of the surgery went well as did the post operative recovery. At my follow up appointment I was given the recovery outline and informed of the physical therapy prescription I would receive. All in all I feel blessed to have had such a wonderful group of people taking care of me. Thank you Dr Gallo.

Holy smokes this place is busy. One would think if they are busy they would be good. My appointment was at noon and I wasnt called back for 45 min and waited an additional 15 minutes to see Dr. Gallo. She came in and told me I need surgery and that was it. I called later asked about pain management later and she told me she would refer me but that it wouldnt do any good. I felt her personality is very abrasive. Ive since had a recommendation from a different neurosurgeon for pain management rather than surgery. He stated there wasnt a need for surgery at this time.

I felt well taken care of throughout my procedure. Office and medical stall were very professional.Granted, the office was slammed with patients. That being said, I feel the wait past appointment time was a bit long.

Dr. Phillips has helped me greatly. I have had injections and have had my pain controlled. He understands pain and believes his patients. I have received quality care from the doctors at Neurospine for many years. Dr. Miller in particular was willing to listen when I was desperate for help, and I appreciated his integrity to take on a difficult case when a colleague of his made a mistake. One of the greatest benefits to me is having a full service facility instead of needing to rely on referrals to multiple providers. I had my second major spinal surgery at the facility which was a significantly more positive experience than my first major spinal surgery at the hospital. I received more personal, direct one-on-one nursing care that lessened the emotional vulnerability and trauma I experienced from my first surgery. I also appreciate having the services through the pain management clinic as this has made the quality of my life considerably better. I always feel respected and heard by Dr. Phillips and his PA, Mark Wells.

The office staff is sweet and friendly. I typically see Marc and he is awesome. Facilities are always clean and tidy. I have never seen it otherwise.

Dr Miller and PA Sean are wonderful surgeons. I have had three surgeries and they give me the best care. I would highly recommend them.

Good job getting close to having my back in good shape with the Doctor. Dr. PHILIPS doing several burns my back is in better shape than it has been in 10 years.

Dr. Phillips is always kind and compassionate. He takes the time to listen to me and validates my concerns. He doesnt talk down to me like so many other doctors do with patients (especially women) that have invisible diseases and chronic pain. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a pain management specialist.

My visit to neurospine was pleasant. Treated warm and friendly by staff. Physician answered my questions and asked if I would like to have more studies at this time. We reached a treatment plan together.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Phillips and I am supremely impressed with his knowledge! Plus you have a terrific Radiology Technician Sascha Simmons! (Shes my daughter!) I experienced pain relief in minutes. After one hour my pain level had dropped from an 8 to a 3! I am presently in my 6th hour post procedure and Im truly feeling relief.Gratefully,Pamela Walsh

I would say that the front office staff is not the nicest, they seem to be always bothered by your call or visit. Kinda rude! But once we met our Dr. Angeles things went much smoother. I also have to say that Jazzy, the workers comp specialist was amazing as well. Very informative. Once the surgery was scheduled it all went pretty fast. Very organized surgical unit and very attentive! I am so glad that we were referred to this office, even though the front office staff is cranky!

I have to say out of all of the doctors offices that I have gone to I have never had one show me so much kindness and respect both bye the staff that works there and the doctors I feel lucky that I am able to be there patient I have complete trust in then and I also feel that I can be 100% honest about what I am doing and how I feel and they will understand it they do their best to help find Solutions for my pain they stand up to the insurance company when they feel that they are wrong and what theyre trying to do for me is the best for my medical care I would always recommend them knowing that anyone that goes there would be treated with kindness as long as they are 100% honest with the doctorsThanks Lorinds

Location is difficult to find. Addresses are not well marked when approaching from the west. But office staff are all so helpful and the system used to shuffle patients is so effective that no one has a long wait. I never feel rushed and all needs are met and questions answered.

As far as the surgery back in 2013 it still hurts in the upper back I guess it always will. As far as Dr. Mark Wells for pain management it was wonderful just wonderful helped us he did everything we needed as long as he could. But then when they change the opioid amounts that were possible to have it has left us with no life at all. We have maybe four hours a day that are decent but anyone knows you can’t get everything done in four hours. He quit his position Because as he said he could no longer help people. I’m sorry it turned out that way I don’t know what we’re going to do. It’s just awful.

Please listen to the reviews of people who say dont go here. It is the most unprofessional and worst bed side manner I have ever seen in my life. I do not know how they still have a business. My mom had a craniotomy by Dr. Angeles to which I am grateful for, but she was diagnosed with incurable brain cancer. As for the staff, doctors and their attitudes, they treat you like scum. Even though they know you are dealing with pain and grief. I dont know how they sleep at night. Dont go here.

I can still work now, says it all, thank you Dr Moore and your staff. I have had bad arthritis that hat made me get 3 joint replacements which they made me able to work through without so much pain. I’ve had shots in the hips, back muscles and back. Finally just got low back nerves burn🙂 they said it might hurt some after surgery but not even, so far it’s been much better. I will be back🙂 can’t say enough they take care of you without the drama and you can trust them to improve your life. I did and will go back as what I have sucks and they help me get through it all.

I saw Dr. Liddy. What a refreshing bubbly personality he has. He answered all my questions and was very thorough.

I love my doctor at Neurospine Institute. I feel like they make every effort to try and give me some relief from The Chronic pain that I feel. I started with Doctor Phillips and now Im Doctor Wells. I like the fact that I feel like he knows me, and that makes me feel very comfortable. I highly recommend neurospine to anyone thats having any type of back neck, anything pain.

Ive been going here for years, and have had several back surgeries performed by the doctors here. The staff is caring and professional, and I would recommend anyone with back problems to go here. They seem to truly care about making you well again, and most importantly... The actually listen to you!

Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my back. And any other part of my structural health dr Moore and Devon are very helpful and kind. I have been going there a long time have met a lot of the staff. They are all nice. But for my structural health it’s Devon and dr Moore all the way!!!

Great staff, from reception to nurses aids to nurses to docs. Treated with with respect, compassion and smiles. Dr. Philips listens and provides options in best care scenarios.

My experience was tops. I had an insurance mess up and one of the staff made the calls to resolve the issue so I could get the much needed back surgery approval. I react badly to anesthesia and this was the first place that took steps to make the nausea better. Kathleen was incredibly patient with me. I took 3 times longer than everyone else to recover but she stuck with me throughout. She was kind but firm getting me on my feet. Thank you Dr. Gallo for completing the surgery.
