I have not been a customer here before but I am part of the team that cleans the building every Wednesday and Sunday. This is a great place to come and relax, that provide pretty much anything thing you would want at a spa and have a beautiful garden you get to hangout in after. The staff are nice and friendly and keep the place tidy.

I had a facial at Peal Spa with Katie she was professional and gave a wonderful facial she knows her stuff. I love working with her and will definitely be back. And an added bonus the gentleman at the front desk was delightful.

I came in for a prenatal massage, with 2 weeks left of my pregnancy, feeling so uncomfortable and impatient!! But Sandy was amazing, putting my mind at ease from the very beginning. She communicated the process of the service with me and I felt relaxed and at ease from the moment she began to the very end! The day spa is beautiful, a real oasis in the heart of downtown Eugene. I cant wait to go back after my baby is born for some more relaxation after my Dr clears me for it.

I bought a massage for a friend and went with her and sipped tea in the lounge while we waited for the therapist to come out 20 minutes late. Then she cut the massage short so she could get back on schedule with a “VIP client who was going out of town.” So they offered a discount on another massage. The second massage was cut 15 minutes short as well. What a waste of money.

The young lady who did my pedicure was very friendly, pleasant and did a great job! When I first came in I was warmly greeted by the person at the front desk. I would definitely recommend!

Booked massage service couple weeks ago for my self, my partner and my mother in law (who is in town from the other side of the country). Explained this while booking and that this was going to be a special treat for all of us before she had to leave town. They called today, the day before services, to cancel ONE appt for my partner. Totally ruined the day and offered nothing except sorry. Wont be booking here again. So disappointing.

All of the massage therapists I’ve had at The Pearl have been great! I love how easy and simple it is to book with them as well.

Jade was super helpful and friendly. Logan did a fantastic massage and targeted problem areas appropriately. Both were professional and went above and beyond.

Jaclyn was great, super friendly and accommodating. It was my first facial and it was amazingly relaxing. It was such a great experience, I already booked a massage for next week!

My boyfriend and I had appointments at the same time with different therapists, and we both really enjoyed our experience. The process was efficient, comfortable, and very zen.

Though the massage was wonderful in itself, Cody did an amazing job! Reception needs work, I found her to be rude, and unwelcoming. I also dont believe a business should have advertising for political groups in their windows. If I didnt live 35 miles away, I would have canceled upon going in with my initial experience. They need to take controversial advertisements down. Also work on customer service with the front desk.

The front office person was so kind and polite, just all around, a lovely individual. My massage therapist listened and provided details on how to be aware of where my stress settles. I appreciate everyone there for their attentiveness.

Received my first ever massage here last week. Booking was smooth and painless- their insurance coordinator communicated with me directly via email, answered all my questions, and walked me through the booking process. The massage was phenomenal- Marina made me feel so comfortable and at ease and was communicative throughout. When I went to leave, another client had parked behind me, blocking me in. The staff apologized profusely (it wasn’t even their fault!) and insisted on giving me a gift card for the café next door so I could treat myself to some coffee while I waited briefly for the other client to finish their appointment. I’m so glad I made the Pearl my first massage experience and am looking forward to many future visits there!

After attending massage school, I felt I just couldnt find a massage therapist with the skill and technique that I was looking for and have had many mediocre massages along the way. That was, until I came to Pearl Day Spa. I had such a wonderful experience with Lily and she really knew how to address my specific needs in a way I had never experienced before. I will definitely be back!

Problems with the owner Susan Zahn in Jan 2004...Update: I just realized that Susan Zahn lied to Dave Weinkauf, GM at KVAL 13, about domain names, one of which I owned. She had my domain name, my website, posted at the end of a noon News show that I was on. I have a copy of it. Ms Zahn lied and got me fired in Jan 2004, and now Im not to happy about it.

I highly recommend the Pearl Day Spa! Its a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Kind front staff, and every masseuse Ive seen has been wonderful. I can typically get a reservation within a week of calling, although its best to plan ahead of you have a full schedule or want to see a specific person.The only issue I have is trying to park my suv in their petite parking area. If you have a large vehicle, or are bad at parking & reversing (me) try to park on the street.So far Ive seen Amanda, Sande, Hank, Gwen, and Marina and each has had a unique, yet wonderful way of massage and healing. I always leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and ready for a long nap. :)

From the moment you walk in the door, you are well taken care of. Very peaceful and relaxing. An hour massage was just not enough, it was so good! The nail specialists are wonderful as well, do the hour manicure it is worth it!

I received an excellent massage for an hour long relaxation session. However, I told them beforehand that I had a gift certificate for the session and that I wasnt sure if it ever expired. The lady told me that none of the certificates ever expire and not to worry, so I proceeded with the massage. When I returned to show them my certificate and pay for the remainder, the next lady told me it had expired and that I had to pay the full amount. I will never pay for a gift certificate from them again and will not be returning since they gave me mixed messages and did not honor what they had originally told me.

My massage therapist, Sande was wonderful. Even a day later, my chronic back pain is still nearly non-existent. She also was able to help with my ankle and foot pain as well. I will definitely be recommending the Pearl to everyone. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing.

From the moment I arrived it was peace and relaxation. Sipped a cup of tea before my massage. Barb was easy to talk to and adjusted treatment as I requested. **Update** 8/29. After saying they wanted to talk, the Pearl Day Spa has yet to contact me. So disappointed in the customer service!After spending a few days leaving a message and trying to get a hold of someone, I was finally able to book an appointment. I requested a deep tissue massage. The first disappointment was that the massage therapist wore gloves. I understand the need to protect yourself if you have a cut/or other skin issue, but I think that being massaged with plastic gloves does not add in any way to an experience. I would much rather have rescheduled my appointment than have that happen. At the beginning of the appointment I asked for the therapist to use more pressure. On some occasions, she was able to use a little more pressure, but it was not consistent. She also resorted to using her elbows a lot, especially on my calves. Using an elbow and using a hand on a calf are very different experiences. And I’ve had plenty of massages in my life, and this one seemed to be done by someone who did not have a lot of experience or a lot of strength. And I feel like if you have someone who doesn’t possess a lot of strength they shouldn’t be booked for deep tissue massage. I visited on Wednesday, August 7th at 6pm.

I Love the Pearl Day Spa! Its always a wonderful experience! I feel so relaxed and a feeling like a whole new person whenever I leave the spa. I love that they are open 7 days a week for those of us with very busy schedules, and they have so much to offer. Hands down the friendliest staff!!!! Tammy is amazing!! I had a spa pedicure and facial. I dont remember anything spectacular about the pedicure. It was great, but about average to other spa pedicure places. And the price range seemed higher at about $70. The facial was like nothing Ive experienced before though. I was put in a private, calm, quaint room with mellow music. Where I laid on a bed with a heat pad. The technician was very informative and would discuss what products she was using. The facials are easily $100, they make the perfect gift or treat yourself day. I would recommend the Pearl Day Spa.

My wife and I have been going here for massages for about 6 months. Weve had one big scheduling snaffoo, but they went above and beyond to make it up to us.Like any other spa, the quality of the experience depends on the practitioner you get that day. Ive had three massage therapists and Id say the average quality of experience is well above that of other spas Ive been to.Great atmosphere!

I had my first deep tissue today. It was incredible. The massage was relaxing yet helpful and my back feels great! It didnt stop at the massage though, the front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. I loved the waiting area. The entire place is relaxing, inviting and clean.

Poor customer service in scheduling and rescheduling. Business cancelled on my mom and sister 3 times, and made no attempts to comp a service or throw in an extra service. Instead kept offering 20% off next service, which they conveniently canceled each time.We already have appointments scheduled at Gervais salon near 5th street. Can’t wait!

I am visiting Eugene for only a few weeks and was lucky enough to get a massage appointment with Sara. She was excellent, her massage style was perfect for loosening up my chronic knot buildup and her knowledge about the bodys musculature was apparent throughout the session. I would certainly go back to Sara again and would also recommend her highly!

I really enjoyed my massage here. My price was amazing for how much care was given. I wish the room was a little warmer and more dark. Maybe try dark out curtains to make it darker but other than that it was an amazing experience. I will definitely be back!

My therapist, Shannon, is amazing! She allows me the freedom of silence OR conversation during my massages with her. She is very attentive to my needs and is always quick to ask if the pressure she is using is too much, if I jump or twitch during a movement. She is always bubbly and pleasant to be around. At the end of my massage, she offers stretches that will help with my problem spots, which is really helpful for me! I absolutely recommend The Pear Day Spa to anyone and everyone I talk to.

Ive been to this spa on many occasions from a brow wax to massage. My latest visit was an emergency. I slept wrong and woke up in such pain. Luckily I was able to get in for a massage. I was in so much pain I wasnt convinced a massage would help. Happily it did! I felt amazing afterward and the pain did not come back. I wish I could remember the young mans name. I was in such a state when I came in Im sad to say I was not very engaging. Thank you

My wife went to be a part of a bachelorette party at The Pearl Day Spa the other day for a spa day, and although the spa staff gave fine service to others in the party, they did not respect the fact that my wife had specifically requested a FEMALE masseuse. She has had trauma in the past and specifically requested a female because it is too uncomfortable to be massaged by a man. Well, when the group of girls got to the spa, it turns out that all the masseurs for each person in the group had gotten changed. Specifically they changed my wifes masseur to a man and didnt have any respect for her preference for a female. One of her friends volunteered to go with the man who had called her, so that was fine. The man who had called my wife back seemed put off by her not wanting to go back with him, but she shouldnt have to explain her trauma to anyone. As my wife continued to wait for her turn and got more anxious, both female and male masseurs called on others in the party without regard to my wifes preference. The bride-to-be in the party offered to cancel my wifes appointment and would pay any cancelation fees if necessary (which there shouldnt be any in the case since The Pearl made the changes). The Pearl told my wife she could wait another two hours to possibly get a massage by a female masseur, but when my wife said that that wouldnt work for her schedule and timing for the day, they merely offered an appointment which would still have to be paid for in full to have a facial the next day. Mind you, this appointment was already an hour and a half away from home.This is poor customer service, and amazes me that a spa place would not have consideration or understanding for preferences made by people, especially in light of the trauma that happens in our world. This is why this review is one star.

As a massage therapist myself, I find it is essential to receive massage on a regular basis. My husband surprised me last week with a couples massage at The Pearl, where I work! Jamal and Kelsey were both professional and addressed all of our concerns. I was very comfortable and relaxed.. I didnt feel the need to chat much that day and the room stayed peaceful and quiet. Days later my shoulders are feeling less tense. Jamal is an experienced LMT and has a great flow and high level of professionalism. My husband says Kelsey was top notch and he loved all the hot towels and perfect pressure. The peppermint tea in the waiting area was great too! We enjoyed our whole experience.

I love the atmosphere here, plus all the staff is so positive and upbeat. Ive had both a supremely relaxing facial, and a delightful pedicure that stayed nice-looking longer than usual. Ill be back for sure!

I have been seeing Lily for massage for the past few months due to sciatic nerve pain. Lily really listened to what my concerns were, and addresses them each time she sees me. Ive had massages before, but Lily is by far the best masseuse Ive had. Im also very self conscious because of my weight and always feel comfortable during my entire visit.

The Pearl Day Spa helped me forget about my terrible week. When I arrived it was quiet and tranquil. My nail tech was kind and cheerful.I felt cared for and removed from all my worries. I am rough on my hands and manicures rarely last longer than 48 hours with me. Mine lasted much longer than that, I will definitely be back.

Pearl Day Spa is my favorite spot for healing and relaxing treatments. It is my first stop for treatment of minor movement injuries from dance, yoga or running. I love the relaxed, yet lovely, atmosphere.

Got a gift card for two Swedish massages here. Ive been calling for the last three weeks to schedule and no one at the front desk ever picks up the phone. Additionally, I had to make two separate accounts on two different websites just to try and schedule? Theres also no section where I can add my boyfriends information; apparently he HAS to be a family member or a spouse. The scheduling process online is annoying and I couldnt figure out how to schedule TWO massages. OH! Swedish massage was not even an option on the online list of massages, despite it being an option in their physical pamphlet.I also completely opened my availability to every day and any time, and it was supposedly completely booked. Wouldve been great if it could have known that with a 2 minute phone call rather than a 30 minute goose chase. Just answer the damn phone please.

The receptionist seemed like he was trying to be pleasantly snarky..the woman who did the mani/pedi was quite a pleasure though. I knew just what to expect, since I am not used to having these things performed. Great experience with her as she didnt try to talk by ear off either..job well done.

Both times I have been to the pearl I have gotten some of the best massages Ive ever had. But also both times there were some problems with the music, the first time it eventually started working but the last time it never did and I was in the River room so without music I could hear everything that was happening with everyone walking on the stairs or using the restroom, so I wasnt able to relax fully. The last therapist I had also wanted to talk to me a lot during my visit whiles he was massaging me, I know some people like to talk during their massage but I am not one of them. Overall a really great experience though.

I truly enjoyed my birthday present to myself today! I initially booked on the app but noticed on the website they have package deals, called the front desk and rescheduled for a Rapture package no problem! I arrived and was welcomed by Ian at the front who had me pick my sandwich from the menu for lunch. A short wait in the cozy waiting area and Bill escorted me to my massage, which was blissful! Afterwards I went to see Bryer for a facial, she was very warm and friendly and truly wanted me to feel relaxed. After that I went into my Mani/Pedi session with Beth who was very fun to chat with! Now, for my only change up, that previously mentioned lunch is waiting for you in the nail salon and you get to eat it while your feet are being done. I think that a nice 15-20 min break while you eat in the garden or a tea room would be more appropriate rather than eating while my toe nails are cut. Other than that, I loved the atmosphere, I like the app (add those packages though) and I enjoyed all the technicians. Will definitely be back!

I called for a last minute eyebrow wax, they had a opening for me that evening with Allie. The girl that did my eyebrows was amazing! I have had my eyebrows waxed many times but she was the best. She consulted me on what I wanted for my brows, I just wanted them cleaned up (I like the shape and thickness of my brows) and she showed me what she was going to do before she did it. That meant a lot to me as I have had many bad experiences before. She did them perfectly! The other part I was really surprised about is how she made the waxing pretty painless, like normally my eyes water and my skin gets really red, I didnt experience any of that with Allie. I would recommend her to anyone who asks!

I left in more pain than when I came in. I had a previous lower back injury in addition to a bad knot in my upper back. I told Jamal this and he only addressed one of those issues. I also requested deep tissue massage and didnt feel that this was adequately done. Im sure if youre looking for a relaxing spa day this is the place for you, but if youre after serious loosening of knotted muscles dont bother.
