Aspen Dental staff in Eugene was very professional and helpful. The front staff was very easy to communicate with and helped me tremendously. The back end staff were all friendly, especially Francis. I highly recommend seeing Francis, he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable throughout my whole dental experience. He constantly made sure there was no pain and if he got to a spot that I would feel something he let me know ahead of time. I cant thank him enough for making me truly have a great dental experience.

I just wanted to drop a line about the amazing experiences Ive had at Aspen Dental. Last year, working as a Wildland Firefighter, time is of the essence. They were able to get me in and take care of me quickly and painlessly for my tooth pain, so that I could stay ready for my calls.Now, living on the coast, I still return to them for my care, because they are worth it.The staff here are fun, friendly, curtious, and most of all, professional, and thorough.Dane was a great assistant, Francis the hygienist was awesome(be sure to inquire about the delicious flavors he has for your periodontal treatment), I do not recall the lovely Treatment Coordinators name (guess Ill have to catch that next time) she was great at explaining the process of my needs and setting up my appointments around my schedule. Thanks Dr. G! YOU HAVE AN AMAZING STAFF! Will see you guys again soon!

My crown turned out nearly perfect, but this location is very unprofessional. There are constantly loud, personal conversations between employees which leads to ignored patients, extended wait times, and a general reduction in customer service. Everyone here is very nice, but also far too casual and their day to day operations seem very dysfunctional. This isn’t a salon, this is a dental office. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Think again before subjecting yourself to this unethical racketeering. Certainly don’t go if you want a simple teeth cleaning, though they will certainly pretend they will give you one and take $240 from a college student for unnecessary abundance of x-rays (I was told I could not opt out) and a laughable periodontistis diagnosis with NO cleaning. They did everything imaginable to try to take my money(tell me I may need invisible braces… I have almost perfectly straight teeth (which have zero problems or pain) and am 34 years old, and a very healthy non-smoker with no genetic history of anything.And this racketeering station threw other insults at me about my perfectly fine teeth and then the “dentist” tried to insinuate that I did not want to procedure because I could not afford it! They treated me like I was crazy for thinking I was getting my teeth cleaned. Absurd. I should have taken the first warning signs that they wouldn’t let me opt out of the x-rays and then made me pay first. They got $240 for nothing. Look into this corporate-owned company and the lawsuits against it. I never write negative reviews, but wanted to warn others. And like I told the office as I left, you desk workers should be ashamed to work there and deserve better than working at such an evil place. Get out.

I’m scared to death of dentists had to have an extraction of an extremely stubborn tooth doctor and staff were kind patient courteous the assistant Jess is top notch she really was instrumental in keeping me calm. Not gonna trust my pearly whites to any other dentist in the area quick friendly booking and appointment scheduling cost was explained in detail and upfront clean office clean rooms friendly staff kind doctors

Felt like I was sprinted through xrays. Asked questions that the answers werent really listened to. Then left to sit in a chair for about 20 minutes listening to other dental consultations going on which didnt instill any confidence in being taken care of myself. Shame as their front desk people were super friendly and called me in early to fill a cancelation. I felt they didnt even have the time for me in my regular time slot.

On our first visit, Amanda took care Lindas x-rays and intake info. She was efficient and friendly , made us comfortable and at ease. Ashley explained Lindas procedure, the costs and options and made welcome. Frances handled the deep cleaning procedure with great care and attention to Lindas comfort but still completed his work efficiently. He is a treasure to your company. Stephanie at the front desk was extremely helpful with a return issue!! Thanks to all the staff!!

Everyone was great from beginning to the end. Professional, positive, friendly and informative staff. Had a tooth pulled and was expecting a lil pain during the procedure but the only thing I really felt was one shot just a pinch. Great job thank you to your wonderful staff.

I have been bamboozled by Aspen Dental.I walked in to see if I could be scheduled for an exam based on tooth pain and sensitivity. I was excited to get in the very next day!After getting a comical amount of xrays, I was advised during my exam that I had early periodontal disease and needed periodontal therapy in all 4 quadrants of my gums. I was also told that I had a gum infection and was prescribed a heavy duty antibiotic called Clindamycin for 5 days. Look up how intense this med is for yourself. It tore me up and I missed 2 and a half days of work.I scheduled periodontal therapy and a consultation with an endodontistThen...I looked at the reviews. Awful, so I got a second opinion with Gentle Dental and canceled all future appointments with Aspen. When I canceled, I was actually pressured to keep my appointments.Guess what? I dont have a gum infection, dont need periodontal therapy and did NOT need 5 days on a heavy antibiotics. DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL, please, go see someone who cares about your health and not about the corporate run-around.

They got to know me, and made this work for me. I have always been phobic about dentists. I want to express my love for Dr. G, Dr. Collins, Dr.T, Dane, Tim, Stephanie, Jackie, (happy birthday *today*), and the other staff members whose names I wish I could recall❤️ Looking forward to seeing my extended family more through this process❤️

I generally dislike writing reviews - almost as much as I dislike going to the dentist. But as someone with sensitive teeth, I must say I love Aspen Dental. On an administrative note, I really appreciate that they give you an itemized list of the procedures and fees associated with upcoming treatment. Since the work I need is rather extensive, they set me up with a treatment and payment plan pretty seamlessly. Further, I cannot say enough good things about my hygienist, Tim. He is a breath of fresh air with his impeccable chair-side manner and attention to detail. He was so wonderful for the first half of the procedure I was prepared to request him again if he hadnt already been assigned to me for the second half. My pain was as minimal as Ive ever experienced. Even my recovery for both days was amazingly uncomplicated. Of course I hope I get him again, but Im willing to share.

I love Aspen Dental. They are always caring, friendly and encouraging. They make me feel good about myself and my choice to get dentures. They have done a wonderful job on the dentures. They are very good people and dentists.

I had an amazing experience at Aspen! All of the staff I interacted with went above and beyond and took great care in both explanations and treatment. Francis was exceptionally patient and his conversation and humor helped alleviate my nerves, which I really appreciated!

First off I would like to start with I called the front desk and the first thing I asked them was did they take OHP. They told me yes, simple answer right? After that I made a appointment because I had needed a emergency appointment due to bleeding, swelling and pain. They told me not a problem I had a appointment within a week it was set. I then received a call 4 days later, one day before my appointment saying they didnt take OHP and they cant help me... That was the first thing I asked the person on the phone.

Here is the straight scoop...Dr. G is the best dentist experience I’ve ever had! She extracted two of my teeth without the usual eye watering experience and discomfort for this type of procedure faster than I could change my mind. She is awesome!She has a great team and I highly recommend them to anyone needing dental procedures.

I was really dreading my Peridontal treatment; however, Francis at the Valley River location in Eugene, Oregon made the experience beyond bearable. He took the time to give me a heads-up as to what was coming up next like the novocaine poke, or advising me to just breathe through it, and talking about his pets, family, travel, school experiences and other topics, to help me get through the appointment mentally. I had a great vist to aspen dental in Springfield oregon. I thought all staff were very kind and made me feel very comfortable. I received the same respect and greatness from my prior visits in 2014 and 2018. I live in north bend its worth my drive to come back. I even got my sister to start her plan and she is very happy with everyone along with the affordable prices. Stephanie helped create our plans and shes a great company asset. Quick comfortable service! I called with a dental emergency: Dr Collins and team had me in the office within half an hour and the correction complete within 2 hours. Francis the dental hygienist had the lightest touch and made the overall experience pleasant and informative. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Overall as pleasant an experience as a trip to the dentist can be..... as it should be at these prices!

I have hated dentists for as long as I can remember I dread setting up appointments and having to go in, for one most offices are boring they’re all business and don’t seem to have fun with their jobs, I’ve never experienced such an amazing staff as I did when I came to Aspen dental starting from the woman Alix who took me back for my X-rays she was energetic and personable and very easy to like, to the woman Stefany who works the office side who set up my payment plan and my next appointments they’re very family oriented it was just an amazing experience through and through and I’m thankful for a place like Aspen dental who can make me excited to go see a dentist.

Aspen Dental is AMAZING! If I could give 10 out of 10 stars I would. Honestly I was a little nervous at first seeing some of the lower star reviews, but I gave Aspen a try as its close to home and my last dentist no longer takes my insurance. Ive never had a more thorough exam before and I was highly impressed. The xrays were quick and painless, then Francis the hygienist came in and did some measuring around my gums. He explained to me what type of cleaning I needed, and was patient with me when I asked questions. I saw Dr. G for my exam and was happy to learn my teeth were not in as bad as shape as I had thought. Ill definitely be going back for my cleaning and any follow up care in the future. Here’s the big picture: Aspen Dental targets uninsured patients and overcharges them on unnecessary services. This has been my experience. This is the experience of many other reviewers. They were investigated by the Pennsylvania Attorney General for this behavior. They were hit with a class action lawsuit for this behavior. From my experience, nothing has changed. Do not come here. If you see Aspen dental, seek a second opinion immediately.My experience with Aspen dental began positively. The office is tidy and hygienists were friendly. My experience began to sour when I started my treatment. I came in for a cleaning and checkup, but the treatment only consisted of a gum inspection. The hygienist quickly declared that I had a case of early periodontitis. They insisted that I needed to take action immediately. I was scared, since I brush regularly, floss, and use mouthwash and hardly expected this from a routine checkup. Before I had time to think, they convinced me to pay a deposit of $1,500 (I chose to prepay instead of taking on the loan they were pushing on me) for the periodontal scaling treatment scheduled for the next day, and to purchase a $135 toothbrush.Fortunately, I read the other reviews here and suspected that something was amiss. I canceled my appointment immediately. Aspen tried to convince me to stay by saying that they wouldn’t be able to fill my time slot, that my procedure was extremely urgent, and by saying that nobody has ever canceled and asked for their money back before. I sought a second opinion at Oakmont Family Dental and was told that I did not need periodontal scaling and that my teeth were healthy. They told me that they did not see any of the bone loss that Aspen claimed to see on my x-rays. I was nearly conned into a $2,100 treatment. Looking back on it, Aspen employs a typical strategy of a scam artist. They lure uninsured and underinsured people with a promise of a free check-up, then scare you with a drastic diagnosis, and while you’re panicking they sell you a bill of goods. They will try to send you home with a $135 dollar tooth brush, Invisalign, and a line of credit for a treatment you don’t need. Avoid them at all costs. I’ve been treated with more honesty by a used car dealership.

I waited for over an hour to be seen by a dentist.The Xrays that were taken at first were not complete.The people are wonderful; helpful, kind, thorough anddivulge all the information I needed.

The folks here were very easygoing and friendly. I usually have anxiety at the dentist but this was a pleasant experience and I plan on going back to Aspen dental. They were also very helpful when it came time to calculate the bill and discussing insurance coverage.

Stay far away, unless you like pain and dishonesty. Horrible experience with a root canal crown that broke and turned into an extraction torture session that damaged a neighboring tooth with the drill. I was offered some credit that magically evaporated to get an implant and new crown. Corporate dishonesty that will reinforce every bad stereotype that dentists get.

I have been going to Aspen Dental in Eugene for four years for periodontal maintenance. The last two times I have had my teeth cleaned by Frances. He always been professional and friendly. He was assisted by Alix who did my ex-rays. I have a very sensitive gag relax and she was very understanding and got me though it without any problem.

The dental hygienist Francis is the best!! Hes so kind and helpful, and does a really great job of explaining everything well. Defiantly my favorite person there!!

This place is a open shop for stealing your money. I’ve had my teeth cleaned regularly for 50 years now all of sudden they tell me and my wife we need 1500 dollars out of pocket periodontal cleaning before they will even fix a cavity. Not to mention you have to pay ahead when you make an appointment then they over charge the insurance. That means you then have a credit they don’t tell you about so they collect interest on all of our money. This place is a joke.

My family and I Recently moved to Oregon from new York. A Few days ago I cracked a tooth and it was terrifying because of past experiences with emergency dental problems (in new york) I called aspen at 1130am got an appointment for 2pm by 4pm I was on antibiotics and pain was subsiding. The doctors and staff were an absolute pleasure!!!! Completely genuine and wanting to help anyway they could. My wife is a patient as well and soon to be our daughter. No other place I will go.. I will never return nor refer anyone to Aspen after all the money I wasted on stuff I didn’t need and due to the lack of detail to my exam from the dentist. I went in and was told I by a hygienist not the dentist that I was in a irreversible starting stage of periodontics and need a deep cleaning ASAP and would have to come back every 3 months for cleanings/check ups. The deep cleaning alone with my insurance cost $800 and the check ups would of been $200 each. I did the deep cleaning as they made it sound really server and needed and I don’t know anything about teeth/gums so I trusted there word. Post cleaning, I was suspicious since I take decent care of my teeth if I really had periodontist and learned from a privately owned dentistry I don’t have that and just need to floss more and come in for a regular cleaning more often and I’m ok. I’m now out hundred of dollars from a deep cleaning and extra supplies to care for something I didn’t have and disappointed in how the dentist didn’t examine my mouth just asked if anything hurt and went over importance of dental hygiene.Really disappointed how it’s more profit oriented rather than customer oriented :(

Aspen Dental is wonderfully accommodating, and all of the employees are incredibly kind. Frances in particular goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and informed throughout your procedure. He is a truly special person who has obviously found his calling. Would recommend him to anyone who normally approaches a dental office with nerves.

Dr. Garnache, the hygienist Francis, and Dental Assistant Alix are all consummate professionals and made the experience easygoing, friendly, and enjoyable. The whole staff at Aspen is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!I had some major work that needed to be done. I felt heard and taken seriously about my concerns.The coordination of all the different elements needed to fix my dental issues was incredible!From the moment I came in I was treated with the utmost respect and care.And the moment I went into the back office every element of my care, from multiple specialists blew me away!Like I had a dream team working all together to resolve my problems!

I don’t have health or dental insurance so I was very pleased to discover Aspen dental offers a free exam and X-rays for new patients! Alex was the young lady who started me through this process after arriving to the office and she had me laughing and conversing so I wasn’t paying that much attention to the uncomfortableness that comes with X-rays. She made it so fun! This initial exam was VERY thorough and even included a 3D camera shot of my mouth which is technology I haven’t experienced at the dentist before. Basically they provide you with multiple angles of your mouth so you can’t deny or ignore what they tell you. Which for me was not what I was expecting to hear that morning! The lead hygienist Francis kept it REAL. He told me things no other office has ever told me before.. like that there’s a proper way to floss! And because I didn’t know this proper way, some of my gums are infected, even though I floss daily and was led to believe by previous dentists that my teeth were doing “fine”. Even though Francis didn’t sugar coat anything regarding the status of my mouth, he did inform me that if I keep up the things he told me to do, that I wouldn’t see anything further damage. Which was really reassuring because I was feeling bummed since I thought I took great care of my mouth. Francis is incredibly knowledgeable and radiates confidence when he’s working on your mouth. I left really feeling like he was my dental wisdom guru. I also had a great experience with the payment manager Ashley, who knew I didn’t have insurance and offered to give me some resources to hopefully save money on future visits now that I have to return every 3 months for periodontal disease cleanings! So yeah it was a huge unexpected money spending day but now I feel equipped with knowledge and the confidence that Aspen dental is going to genuinely help me! I’m so glad I discovered them even though it was almost like a slap in the face to me! Dentist tough love that I’m here for now!

I absolutely love this office.I skipped the dentist visits for at least 5 years and I paid for it dearly. I went in almost two years ago with so many dental issues. The staff here made my visit amazing and so comforting. I no longer fear the dentist in fact I look forward to my cleanings!

I came in for preliminaries but since an opening came up, I was able to get my work done as well in the first day. Since then all my appointments have been very prompt which is a big help for me. I was a little nervous going in only because I havent seen the dentist in years but the dental hygienist Frances was a doll he made everything easy and distracted me by talking to me about everything that he did. If you havent been to the dentist in years and you need a cleaning I would recommend Francis hands down he made me feel comfortable. I have more to be done and I hope the next employee at Aspen is as sweet and nice and gentle as Francis was.

I love Aspen Dental. Always so nice, the technicians are always so bubbly and helpful..never any tooth shaming, just friendly and professional..Ive been to a lot of dentists cause my teeth are/were bad. Now I have dentures and could not be happier !

I was in for a Peridontal treatment. Although extremely intense, the results were positive. Frances was very attentive and considerate of my comfort level.I have never had that much freezing at any one time. It took 4+ hours to go away, which was uncomfortable. It was surprising that I would assist with my own treatment by holding one of the required apparatus. My mouth was so frozen, I truly had no idea where it was directed. I was also surprised that there was no check up by a Dentist before I left the office.Over all it was a very positive experience and I will be back for additional work.

The hygienist was not wearing a mask while working in my friends open mouth. As health care professionals and people adequate in science, I expect better. A threat and disgrace to humanity.

Aspen Dental does not respect patient autonomy while constantly trying to sell you extra products and services you dont need. This was the worst experience I have ever had with dental care, not at all trustworthy. A fast-talking hygenist gave me the most cursory exam I have ever had, while making sales pitches for products and services for which they had advertisements on the wall all around the exam chair. The hygenist, not the dentist, decided that I needed some wildly expensive periodontal cleaning that I did not want. They gave my wife the exact same sales pitch when she went in for her appointment. It is possible that that two people who floss and brush every day and eat a healthy diet have the same gum condition, but it is also possible that this is just a scam. When I requested a normal cleaning, they told me its not my decision and I have to do what they say or they wont provide care. I will never go back. I intend to file formal complaints with my insurer, and find a real dentist instead.

Wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy hearing slurs and having your hygienist NOT wear a mask during the midst of a pandemic. the assistant, alex, shouted the word “re****” during the middle of my x-rays. even worse, my hygienist didn’t wear a mask! i am extremely appalled at this behavior, especially from medical professionals. lastly, there is goop dripping off the walls and a bathroom covered with toilet paper and fluids all over the ground. i will never return here.

I got my 1st appointment scheduled pretty quickly. Rather than being a month out, it was a couple days. All of the staff I encountered was great. Imaging was done quickly, the dental hygienist was upfront, understanding, and did what he could to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. The dentist I met with really took my personal case into consideration. Then when I went to pay, they did everything they could to discount prices and schedule my next appointments around my availability. Niceest, easiest to work with dental place I have ever been to!

Really disappointed with my overall experience here. Sadly, some of their staff were really rude, and lacking in any sort of customer service skills. I was treated like a nuisance during most of my visits there, especially after they sold me a defective toothbrush, and refused to help in anyway whatsoever other than saying, ...contact Oral B, okay?. I then called back afterwards, and spoke to their office manager who was very condescending in tone, and acted as if I was being irrational. Realizing I was getting nowhere, I asked her to email me my account ledger, and ended the call.If you look at their reviews on Yelp, you will see they only have two stars. This place is a scam, and heavily rely on upselling defective toothbrushes and unneeded $2000 deep cleanings. I will be going elsewhere.

Very friendly and they dont give a judgmental vibe. Answered all of my questions and pointed me in the right direction with me insurance/expense questions as well.

I had my teeth cleaned by Francis at Aspen Dental at Valley River Center in Eugene, Oregon on July, 16, 2020. Francis is a very cordial, and professional man. In the face of this pandemic, Francis is extremely health conscious and protective of his clientele following the needed prrotocol to keep everyone safe. I definitely would highly recommend Francis to anyone!

Every single person in the clinic was really really nice. I have very bad anxiety when it comes to dental work because of past experiences but everyone was so amazing. I had a tooth pulled and the nurse was even holding my hand while they were giving me the numbing injections and telling me funny stories. I just cant express how at ease they made me feel. I didnt feel a thing when they took the tooth out either. They were very gentle and considerate to how nervous i was.

UpdatedInitial appointment and cleaning, a breeze. Awesome care by everyone involved. So much so I decided to have a tooth fixed by them, instead of returning to my original dentist out of state.But the follow-up appointment setting, not such a good experience. They forgot to call me back and wanted charge full price (crazy high price--double compared their website) because I have special insurance. Guess Im going back to the hunt for a reliable dentist. #disppointedAfter a month of posting this and contact with the office to kindly return the credit on my account, along with several follow ups, not the best experience. Still waiting for my money. 🤷‍♀️

I havent been too the dentist in quite a few years and was very anxious but all the staff I met at Aspen were so kind and helpful. I struggled with the x-rays and the dental assistant was so kind and patient. The staff made my treatment options very clear and tried too make me feel comfortable during my first trip in a long time. Nobody made me feel bad for not going too the dentist for a long time which really helped my anxiety. The Treatment Plan Coordinator Stafany was so helpful and kind and made me feel like I could ask her anything I needed too. She didnt upsell me or anything, she just helped me too figure out how I could pay for my treatment. The staff and especially Stefany made me feel like they cared about my well-being.

Very conscientious staff.

After having her teeth pulls by another provider my mom couldn’t get a denture from them for 6 months. She called Aspen on Monday, was seen on Wednesday and should have her denture next week! It’s also going to cost her $200 less than the other provider, a big deal for a senior on limited income.The other provider is still estimating it will take 2 months to do what Aspen is doing in less than 14 days!Thank you Aspen for taking such good care of my mom!!!

This is my regular dental office. I called because my back molar broke in half. I no longer have dental insurance. I paid a $163 exam fee and then was sent to the financial services person (sweet girl) who told me it would be another $374 to pull the tooth. Cant afford that crazy amount to pull a tooth. They knew it was broken when I scheduled. I walked out. Tooth is still broken, still in pain. Never again will I use this dental office.

All the people within the Aspen office in Eugene on Garden Valley are very nice and make you feel very comfortable. I give them 5 stars. Thank you T.Standley

Horrible service. If you are looking at not fixing your teeth or tooth go ahead and head here. It’s the bottom end of dentistry. Female dentist will go out of her way to make you feel like a sub-human as well. There was filth everywhere, obvious splash and dripping of fluids on the walls, tools. Just take a quick look. Beware!

The staff here are great, both my partner and I have had lots of work done here and it’s been a breeze every time. Going to the dentist sucks, but staff like Francis Vegerano make it so much better! I trust these guys, I will be back in the future

I hadnt been to the dentist for an embarrassing amount of time. I had high anxiety and was terrified. They were SO sweet and gentle with me, all 5 people that helped me were amazing. It wasnt as bad as i thought but I still cried cause of the stress, and they were so sweet and made me laugh and feel so comfortable. A++ for anyone who is scared of the dentist. These guys are amazing.

They are the most honest amazing people. I just wish they took Pacific sources through Oregon health plan. Thank you all!

Kayla and the Aspen team worked in unison to find/make a new appointment time when my work schedule suddenly changed. I really appreciate the teams efforts working with such short notice and finding a new time so quickly! My overall dental health has drastically improved since I began going to Aspen. Big dog and pony show to try to scare you into treatments you probably dont need. They will prescribe the most aggressive/expensive options possible and wont even discuss alternatives. They wanted to do a deep cleaning - Most places would charge maybe a grand they wanted 4 grand. Tried to work with them to go a less aggressive treatment plan and they flat out refused - said that once theyve made the diagnosis they wont treat you anymore unless you pay the high price theyve attached to the diagnosis. Big waste of my time. They were nice though, and had fancy equipment, so 2 stars instead of 1.

A very welcoming environment with friendly and laidback staff who made my visits easy!! Francis was easy to converse with while deep cleaning my teeth which made my trip to the dentist fun!! I was very impressed with the end result!!

I woke up Saturday morning with a tooth ache. I took some over the counter pain meds to get through the weekend, then I went to the local Aspen Dental Office for treatment on Monday morning. I found out later that I could have called them over the weekend and been seen on Saturday. But I didnt know that until later.After a short wait on Monday I was seen by a dentist and had my mouth x-rayd.I was given a perscription pain medicine and Amoxicillin. I am waiting now for a followup visit to actually remove the two teeth with caveties.They were very accomidating and got me infront of a dentist in just a few minutes after I arrived.

Everyone at this office Was compassionate and very nice. They made sure I had no pain and got me in and out fast. I will tell anyone Who asked me, to go to Aspen dental. I would use them again and again.
