I donated whole blood here today (O NEG) and it was a wonderful experience. All of the staff are so kind, helpful, and courteous. Its always an awesome feeling to donate - give some of your time and life to others - one donation can help save up to 3 lives! You do not have to schedule an appointment to donate - walk-ins are gladly accepted (I was a walk-in today). The seats are very comfy and there are TVs to watch during your draw. Afterwards, theres a rest area where snacks, juice, bottled water, and soda are provided for your refreshment. Volunteering to donate blood (whole, double red cell, or plasma) is extremely philanthropic and I encourage you to do so. Youll feel blessed knowing you helped someone with your donation, and your recipient will be blessed by your gift. Its a win-win all around!! 🙂 ❤

I will NEVER donate blood with them again. The phlebotomist had an attitude when I asked her to change her gloves before touching me, my tubing & needle. Their signs saying we donors health dont matter and they only have wear gloves to protect themselves & dont have to change them between clients is down right DISGUSTING & should be ILLEGAL!!! Avoid this place. Their saying our health is not worth a .10 cent pair of gloves when they make hundreds of dollars off of each pint of our blood we give them for free in DISGUSTING!!!!

I was so nervous about donating, but Alan made it SO easy and painless. He was so reassuring and knowledgeable that I was done before I knew it. Ill definitely be back!

Next year Itll be 40 years of donating bloodfirst donated in my junior year of college--ill have to check but I think Im at 20 gallon mark!! Never had a problem. Thanks!

I recently had (and have always had) a positive experience! The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The phlebotomists and screening staff (not sure if theyre phlebs too) are always professional. Ive never had bad stick and Ive never bruised! I do have really good veins, but the staff deserves credit where its due! 👍

Friendly and followed all Covid rules but I had two employees that needed more training.

Last week I donated for the first time in 20 years. I was a little reluctant but the staff was so welcoming and skilled that my reluctance became non-existent. I truly did not feel a thing and the donation was over with before I knew it. I am O+ and will try the double red on my next visit in January. In closing, I would like to thank the staff for eliminating my fears. They really do make you feel like a Rock Star for donating!

Staff is professional and facilities are clean. I was welcomed as a walk-in, just needed to show ID and fill a screening form/waiver. My vitals and iron level were checked prior to starting the procedure. My phlebotomist worked efficiently and got my vein on first try. They even have a room to sit and have a drink/snack before you leave.

While I appreciate their mission and donate blood whenever I can, BEWARE! Once you donate, you go on a call list and will get incessant robo calls. As far as I can tell there is no way to get off this list. I have been consistently called at awful times, indicating they dont even respect you enough to call at normal hours. Bottom line, go to the red cross or a blood drive or something instead.

I go to school at McDowell and when they came to my school they were very helpful and showed me what they do when theu take blood. Then a few weeks later I got an email saying my blood type is o negative. Which is always needed. They educated me on the importance of my blood and encouraged me to donate more. So a month later I came back to the actual blood bank facility and was welcomed at the door. I had already set up an appointment so they gave me the paper work and had me re-educated on stuff. the actual taking of my blood took like five to ten minutes and the staff kept me talking about my summer vacation to get my mind off of my blood being taken. They were really sweet and complemented me on my socks. They also have a rule if youre under a certain age then you cant donate too often to stop teenagers from getting an iron deficiency. Which made me feel really safe and I trusted them with my safety.Im comming back as soon as possible :)
