Trying calling and on hold for over 30 minutes without talking to anyone. Used the text chat once and thought I was getting somewhere. NOPE! Trying to get assistance for my 86 yo mother after they have been prompted by two different doctors to provide the appropriate equipment and no action. They are a worthless company. If I could give them a zero I could!

Very unreliable medical equipment supplier. Ordered supplies over a month and half ago and received a wrong supplies. Called them about half a dozen times trying to get right supplies and nothing happened. Now they send me a bill of over $200 for the supplies I cant even use. The company is very hard to deal with. They send you from one department to the other and nobody does anything. They Tell you they take care of it but all they do send you a bill. Not recommend if you are a new customer. Looking for another supplier myself.

I would easily give this company 0 stars if this was allowed. I gave birth to my baby over a week ago and was given instructions and a prescription over a month before she was born. I was unable to order until the day she was born and was told it would be over nighted to my house. I called Medicare and got it ordered. It was 6 days later and I still had not received my pump. I called back and was told that my request was there but they were still waiting on my prescription for my doc... I called the docs and they verified they talked with Medcare and got it ordered... 2 more days passed and still no pump... I called Medicare back to ask about the situation and was told again that my request was just made two days prior, and it still wasn’t filled. I reiterated the fact it was requested a week prior and AGAIN two days ago, Needless to say I’m at home needing to pump and still do not have my pump. They act as though I’m requesting morphine! It’s an OTC pump I cold of purchased but should of been included for FREE with my insurance. I’ve been doing this dance in a circle for 10 days now... Terrible customer service. Someone is not doing their job correctly.

Worst customer service ever!! If I could give it 0 stars, I would.I wish I had seen the reviews before I went here. I just thought that one medical equipment store would be pretty much the same as another. I chose it because it was the closest. My first bill from them was for $633. The bill said that auto pay was on. I got the bill the day before it was scheduled to come out of my account. If I had been out of town or not gotten to my mail that day, $633 would have been taken from me the next day. I called them and tried to get them to turn off auto pay. The guy lied to me and told me I had to do that online. I ended up having to set up payments. I feel like it was an underhanded way of forcing me to set up payments. So later, I set up an account on their website. When i tried to turn off auto pay it said that I needed to have customer service do it. So, I called them to try again to have them turn off auto pay. They said they did, but it still hasnt been turned off. Its been two months now. Also, their website to make payments is horrible! So, because of the way things are done, I now have 2 bills a month. I tried to make a payment toward one of the bills but the website put it towards the other bill. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Their corporate company is hard to get a hold of and impossible during the last week of December. I just placed my last order with them. It should not be this hard to get orders shipped out every month. It should also not have to take 45 minutes being on hold to get a customer service person.

On December 6 of 2019 I gave birth to a baby. On December 7 of 2019 when I was still in the hospital I received a message from MedCare Equipment, LLC saying that they needed my approval in order to complete an order for a breast pump. I never called them back because once again I was in the hospital with my newborn baby. The next day I came home to a breast pump sitting at my door. I had not spoken to anyone at MedCare Equipment Company, LLC regarding this pump. I did not order it and did not approve of it being sent to me. I knew that my insurance company offered me a free breast pump so I assumed that the one sitting at my door was the one that they were sending me. I then looked at the website and saw that this was not that breast pump but an unapproved order for 425.00 from MedCare Equipment Company LLC. I immediately called my insurance company who contacted the doctor who ordered it. They also contacted MedCare Equipment Company LLC and told them that I would not be paying for this. MedCare Equipment stated the manager would be in contact with me and they never were. They just sent me a bill which I refuse to pay. Why on earth would I order a 425.00 breast pump when my insurance company offers me a free one? And why did they send me a breast pump without a signature or a phone call stating my approval. These people are crooks.

Do not do business with this company. They will send equipment that you do not request and refuse to credit charges even after you send it back. This company practices fraud.

I was first disappointed when the COVID crisis started. We had an appointment, got a reminder call, showed up and despite staff working inside, they ignored me at the door. Finally they came to the door and were unnecessarily rude (asked me if I can’t read) and told me they weren’t seeing people. I left, called the 1-800 number as instructed to get my equipment delivered and was told to turn around and go back for the appointment. Once I was in, the respiratory tech was very polite and thorough.Fast forward a month, after release from the hospital, MedCare was instructed to make adjustment on the CPAP flow rate and the neglected to do so. We have switched to Health Care Solutions and so far the experience has been top notch!

I was surprised at the bad reviews because I had great service at Medcare. Carrie Ayers was very knowledgeable (and funny!). She gave me very clear instructions on the equipment I ordered, plus she gave me extra tips on how to make a homemade ice pack and how to make extra cushions for crutches. Maybe the difference in my experience is that I went there in person, rather than ordering over the phone. I understand that not everyone can go there in person, but if you can I think you will be pleased with the service.

Someone else said that they deserve 0 stars, I agree! If you schedule an appointment your are good, the service is great, working one on one with a representative! But it stops there if you try to do anything over the phone. The web listed direct phone number for the retail store is not good. You must call the corporate toll free number and be directed to the retail store you want. It takes multiple attempts to get an answer. Once you get thru to the store the staff has to put you on hold to ask about how to answer your question, and then you are directed to schedule an appointment, for something you have already had an appointment for. When I asked to have the client representative I worked with 3 days prior call me, I was told she is totally booked up.....REALLY too booked up to return a phone call to possibly resolve an issue that could be handled without taking up an appointment time. The phone extensions given for Sleep Coaches that are there to assist new sleep therapy patients are not valid! Hopefully the next 13 months of my equipment rental will not continue to go like this.Wow 2 months later and I need to drop my rating to 1 * cant get through by phone. Once again the extensions you are directed to use when calling are INCORRECT. Then you are directed to contact them by chat online. Ironically thats not on line at the time. Time to reorder supplies - be nice if I could get through to someone, and then do I trust them to get it right? Their online music is a short loop that is annoying and AGITATES you further. And then your hold time increases instead of decreases.!!!!! THINK IM UNHAPPY CORPORATE????? DO YOU CARE THAT THERE ARE MULTIPLE REVIEWS LIKE THIS ONE???

I was one day shy of being 2 weeks early to request a portable oxygen concentrator. Oh my, I took a tongue lashing from Bree was told the only way I could receive one was to drive the 6 (round trip) hours to the other side of Pittsburgh from Erie. She told me because I have a battery operated one (they lost the first prescription) that I dont qualify and that I could travel with the big home concentrator (80lbs) She was absolutely the icing on the cake, it took 3 months to get my battery one, first I was told it takes time, then so and so is not in, then no record of it, nothing but excuses. So here I am, remain basically home bound because of this company. ..... I got on line did some research and bought, yes bought my own. Main clinic supply out of Minnesota they were wonderful $ 1500. Constance flow up to 5. Only 18lbs, no batteries. If I only would have known I could have done this a long time ago then turn the bill to insurance. Please please do your research before using medicare equipment.

They tell my daughters insurance company that they carry cool most humidifier . But once prescription was faxed over they say they dont carry them. And tells me that insurance dont cover when the insurance company says it is . Took me over a week for them to get me a tens unit cause they had to put everything through themselves even though I had the approval letter and prescription in hand

The absolute worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced. Their corporate headquarters needs to eliminate those individuals who are negatively impacting individuals. I never complain about the way I’m mistreated however the woman (in her late 50s early 60s) who I interacted with was beyond rude. I can only imagine how she must make others who are oppressed feel. 2 months later and I’m just as disgusted as I was the day I interacted with her,

Worse experience ever with a medical supply company. We started a week before my surgery with orders from my doctors for bed and wheelchair...heard nothing. On calling they said they could not process order untill I had surgery. After surgery they said they voided the orders because they believed insurence would not pay. Talked to insurance...they stated no one had contacted them about orders. Talked to doctors...got new orders. Checked back they again voided the orders because Insurance will not cover it I had been stuck on a couch with leg in cast for 3 days at this point. My doctors were threatening to send me to a nursing home for rehab. I called Blackburns. Bed and chair delivered next day. Blackburns provided me with super customer care as compared to the non existant care at Medcare.

Would give no stars if available. suffering from chest pain and fatigue that is keeping me from working. both my primary and cardiologist state its from sleep apnea. medcare has the order, but cant get me in for over a WEEK! thats me going to them and the girl even stated it wouldnt even take 10-15 mins to complete process. horrible customer service! i work in the plumbing field, and we would never tell anyone that they would have to wait a week for hot water or heat. guess breathing isnt as important to them!

Gave them 1 star because I couldnt give them 0 stars. Been trying to get a new cpap through them for over a year. Even spoke with them while my UPMC rep was also on the line. They lost my original order, didnt call me back on many occasions, and are generally unpleasant to do business with.

UPDATE! Another delivery and things are listed on the invoice but not in the box.Its NOT rocket science people!Ive been dealing with them for years.20 minutes on the phone to verify my orders. Then they NEVER send what I ordered they send what they want.I took supplies in to show them and they actually argued with me that it was NOT what I needed and that my CPAP did NOT have an alarm on it.I am sick of dealing with them but I dont know where else to go.

Very hard company to do business with. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. They act as if you need them and cant go anywhere else to get your supplies. There is no putting the customer first. When you call you get a tongue lashing if the person on the other end does not like the terminology or if you try to correct the person you are speaking to.If you can find somewhere else to get your supplies I would strongly suggest you do!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont recommend this company at all. They add stuff to your packing slip and invoice that you never received and then they bill your insurance for it. Then if you call them and try to straighten it out they talk over you and refuse to listen and just repeat the same thing over and over and refuse to correct their mistakes. They have the worst customer service. If you use them, look at every single item on your packing slip and see if you received it. There will be a quantity number under the Shipped column. If they claim that they never sent it and dont know why its on there, but it says shipped, contact Medicare or your insurance provider and ask for help.

I just called again and she said nothing was noted!!! And she couldnt help me.. that seems to be their goto phrase.. if it was their family member Im sure this wouldnt be happening.. dont use them!!!!
