Good people who work here that care deeply about there patients!

My mother passed away one week ago today. Although hospice was involved for only a short time with my mom who was at a senior living facility, I guess I expected more since everyone we were in contact with there stressed how they are there to support the family. My family has had ZERO contact from anyone at VNA of Erie County since she has died. The nursing staff at the facility said they would notify hospice of our moms passing, we were at the facility for quite some time after she died, no call from hospice, no one came and one week later - still nothing. If this is supporting the family in their worst possible time, no thanks. The support I am getting from my family and friends is what is helping me cope with my grief. VNA of Erie County was not my first choice, guess next time I should trust my instincts. Definitely dont recommend. And VNA if you read this, dont bother calling now, its too late.

Very poorly managed home care agency. Stay far away from the entire LECOM system unless you have a death wish.
