I had the best experience ever at this hospital.I had to have surgery for a fat tumor yesterday (26 Oct. 2021) and I was laughing from being admitted for the surgery till the time I left!The nurses and resident doctors were amazing!I was so relaxed going into surgery. Thank you!Millcreek surgery staff and all involved with my surgery!

Rude, no time with patient,huge wait for no reason other than how would we tell you covid results if we dont have you wait!?! Called same scripts into 2 pharmacy, one Ive never used. Problem still not resolved went back to say problem isnt solved and I cant get into see any other doctor, they reply oh well not our problem and we see nothing wrong. What a waste of time twice now, this is where failure doctors go to pretend they are in the medical field. 0 stars

My daughter had an emotional breakdown and this is the only place I could bring her. The worst hospital I have ever been in. For starters it is really dirty and I dont mean like normal hospital dirty I mean like gas station restroom dirty! Been here for 8 hours and all they did was give her some melatonin and draw blood no one has been in to talk to us or anything. Place is a joke no wonder its a 2 star hospital....and thats 2 too many!

Brought my son here last night. I waited from about 330 until almost 630 to get called back in a room, by the time I got to talk to any drs it’s going on almost 9pm. They admitted for behavioral health not a big deal, I had to stay with him since he’s under 18. I ended up falling asleep on the floor with my knees against my chest and my head resting on my knees knowing that I was staying over night never checked to see if we needed anything and finally around 3am they brought me a bed in. I didn’t think I needed to ask cause they knew I was staying. He was suppose to get moved and hasn’t yet, it’s been 24 hrs. As I sit in his room and the hospital with him I haven’t been checked on at all but once. This is the worse hospital I’ve ever. I hate that I even have to be here with my son but I know he needs help but this is so unprofessional of the staff and doctors. Other hospitals you go to at least check on you every hr or half hr.

Not very clean. Had to wait hours for anyone to do anything with us despite riding in on an ambulance. Put my mother in behavior & observation instead of actually helping her and running tests.

We admitted my 15yr old son to inpatient behavioral health, he was there for almost 5 days and never once spoke to a therapist or anything. The only thing they did was pull him into the hallway and ask him how he was doing once a day. They told us they sent a referral to FSNWPA but there was a 4 week wait, I finally called and they said millcreek never sent over a referral and now we have to wait another 4 weeks. Most unhelpful hospital I’ve ever experienced.

I needed an x-ray of my shoulder (non-emergency) I was impressed with the staff - from the security guard, check in nurse to all of the staff in the radiology department! Thank you everyone - speedy kind and professional!!!

I been sitting here since 8:49pm. Its going on 12am and I still havent been seen. They didnt give any updates as to when I would been seen. There are two children with a broken foot each and they havent been seen, the staff is taking back people who just checked in over the people who waited 4+ hours with critical injuries.

Step son went in last week and he was not tested for anything! They just gave him amoxicillin which he’s allergic to and sent him on his way. He now has strep and had an allergic reaction to it!

I was very disappointed with their service 😟😡😭 after asking how is my patient and their told me to live because he was already discharged on night time, my brother was very depressed 😕😕 I couldn’t find the way he went 🤬🤬after looking for him 5weeks, I take him there because he needs their help ,and they let him go says he’s good to go 😡😡where I’m going to find him again I’m very very very disappointed ☹️

Went to ER, short wait time, dr ordered x-ray and they came to take me to radiology pretty fast. Everyone was nice and helpful.

Went in on a Friday night and received excellent care for a prolonged, very rapid heartbeat. Wonderful staff, from the receptionists to the medical professionals. Left feeling hugely better, with a diagnosis and a copy of my cardiogram. Everything looked clean and orderly. I felt safe and encouraged as soon as I walked in the door.

Ive heard nothing but pleasant horrible stories from the hospital. Yet I had the most pleasant experience with each and every person there. Nurse Julie exceeded expectations. I didnt even realize she was taking my blood nor putting in an iv. I felt the tape more than anything. Just look past the outdated stuff they have and look at the human beings treating you. God bless them all.

Probably the best ER experience Ive ever had. Staff was excellent! Hardly waited for anything. Staff was extremely friendly, caring and thorough. Made me feel like a they truly cared and was treated with compassion rather than feeling like an inconvenience and pushed along like a number. Drove all the way crom Ohio & was worth it!!!

Best hospital in Erie. They may not have all the bells and whistles that St Vincents and UPMC Hamot do, but the treat you with respect and dignity regardless of you race and economic status. The same can definitely not be said of the other two. Millcreek hospital is by far Erie Pas best option for emergency care

I had two out patient procedures done within a week and the outpatient Surgical Staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They were compassionate and MORE than attentive to my needs. It was the best clinical experience I have ever had! Thanks so much to ALL the girls in outpatient surgery!!!

My stay in the IRU was very rewarding. Feeling poorly to begin with, it was great to have warm, friendly people to help get me back on track. The staff works together, therapist & medical, to give personalized care to each person @ their level. Warm, thoughtful, sincere care is what I felt during my stay.

Most unprofessional hospital Ive been to.. They are definitely more into getting money for unnecessary test than patient care. Not to mention the drugs that they push. Nurses were the only good part of the hospital. Well never go to this hospital again.

Millcreek Community Hospital showed care and compassion to my mother and my family during our recent inpatient stay. The ER staff were professional and understanding. The nurses and doctors on the Medical/Surgical Unit were very kind and helpful. Thank you to everyone at Millcreek for all you did for us during a difficult time. I will definitely recommend the hospital.

On Wednesday September 25th early in the morning around 4 a.m. I had woken up with a severe migraine and intense jaw pain and did not feel well. I went to Millcreek Community hospital where they got me into the back right away. However I was only in the back room for less than 10 minutes. The doctor asked if I drove, and I replied that I did. He then said that I couldnt give me any narcotics. Which didnt matter to me. I was just in pain and did not feel well. He came back with a syringe in a bottle. I asked him what it was, he said Benadryl. He gave me the injection handed me the discharge papers and sent me on my way. I asked him about my jaw pain and he ignored me and continued to walk away. I was not happy with my treatment. So I went to Urgent Care when they opened at 9 am. Only to find out that I had severe abscess infection in my jaw and face! I was given an antibiotic prescription that was much needed. I do not have faith in the emergency department at Millcreek Community Hospital. Ive had several experiences before but never put them on review. I will never go back to a hospital that is incompetent of being able to care for their patients.

Have been going to Millcreek/Lecom since 1992 and just had a five day visit the hospital staff and doctors there are rated #1 in my book. Ive had the bad experiences with our other local hospitals and basically would rather be dead than to go to one of them. but we all have our own experiences. the 3rd floor staff is number one in my book.

My brother was in a non fault car accident and they had no sympathy for him. His nurse was rude. A male nurse that gave him his discharge papers was also very rude we asked for 2 copies of a doctor excuse because my brother has 2 jobs and the tall nurse with brown hair, beard and glasses made it a fuss and was acting like we were a bother to his day made it seem like we wanted my brothers paper work for our own use ! Very disappointed on how we were treated and will never come to this hospital again .

Fast friendly service, they were quick to get me to a bed and get me inspected. They were really super nice and compassionate!

I received excellent care while I was an inpatient. The nurses were very caring and compassionate. The room was clean and neat. Staff was friendly and warm and attentive to my needs. Physicians came in regularly to check on me and answered all my questions.

I read some reviews and honestly I dont agree with some of the things said. 1st. Its a hospital a small one at that with a huge work load. They have carring and no nonsense attitude that works for me

To Millcreek Community Hospital - LECOM HealthI Had a stay at the Hospital on April 1st to the 3rd on the 3rd floor and I do not like to stay at any hospital but the 3 day 2 night stay at LECOM was a memorable one the Staff was so nice the took great care of me and were so nice I got to know them very well I feel like I made new friends during my stay and I will never got them and if god forbid I have to go and stay at any Hospital I would want it to be there, There staff are so well at what they do I would want them to be the ones to care for me.With that said I hope to me you all again but outside of the hospital of course :) Best wishes and God bless you all !!!Bill from room 310B

I have visited this hospital twice now within a year and a half for mental health. The first time I asked for help they handed me a Rx and said well call you in few days to set up further treatment and help, NO one called. Second time I was brought by ambulance and instead of helping me after I begged to stay and for help they decided to send me to the Erie County Prison for the night instead....also I noticed they are not even professional enough like St. Vincent or Hamot to respond to Google complaints....next time Ill pick one of those!

This is one of the worst places Ive ever been to!!!The staff are rude and very unprofessional.While I was staying at this hospital i received very bad treatment. I dont like the fact that the staff were discussing another patients information to another staff member right in front of me and gossiping about confidential information. Ive witnessed other patients being mistreated a lot and some of the acts were very disturbing. I will never be returning here ever again in the future!!! I cant believe some people go here for help. They dont even help, all they want do is eagerly diagnose someone with something they dont even have, then put them on medication that they dont even need. I will never recommend this hospital to anyone. Going there is a decision I will always regret.

When I was there from December 15-25 2017 Dr. Clark never gave me meds for suicidal thoughts and seeing thing but everyone else got to take them. Worst hospital ever, dont go here!! I had to wait 6hours in a tiny room and in the morning they where drawing blood and almost took all of it, I couldnt walk because of how much they took and I felt sick and dizzy.

My mother received excellent and compassionate care in the ACE (Acute Care for the Elderly) new unit at Millcreek Community Hospital. She not only received expert care from Dr. James Lin, but she enjoyed and benefitted from the extra attention of physician Residents and Fellows who also train at the hospital. We were very impressed and grateful.

Okay er not the best

My husband went in for surgery but they couldnt perform it because he was vomiting. He was sent to the ER where they admitted him for low blood pressure. Later in the evening I was told that he had pneumonia and that they would be starting IV antibiotics. The next morning I got a call from the caseworker telling me to come pick him up because they were discharging him. When I get there and ask the nurse why hes being sent home she tells me hes fine, the sonogram of his lung showed fluid because he had to poop. She told me the whole reason he got admitted was because of pneumonia and since he no longer has pneumonia he can go home. No! That is not why he was admitted and I dont care how bad you have to poop its not going to show fluid on your lung. Apparently the pneumonia just disappeared into thin air. My husband has Nash cirrhosis and kidney disease. So low blood pressure and vomiting is nothing to play around with. They didnt even give us a wheelchair on the way out to the car. My son and I had to stop him from falling over on 4 different occasions just coming down the elevator. I took him to Saint Vincent and he is now in ICU. The doctor never came in to see him and never called me to update me. If I were you I would stay as far away from this hospital as possible.

Worst hospital the did an iv on my daughter and didn’t wear gloves then took it out blood going everywhere still no gloves on really!!!!! Very people!!! It’s groose inside omg! They didn’t tell my child what was wrong with her ! Just let her go This hospital not good anymore don’t go there!!!!!!!!

Last month, our mother was admitted with pneumonia and a constricted esophagus; she spent not quite two weeks in the Lecom ACE unit where she received wonderful care and attention. Her Care Team was outstanding: physicians, notably, Dr. Karl J Falk, DO, nursing staff, respiratory therapy, and physical therapy. She then transitioned to the Senior Living Center for two weeks where the rehab team helped her regain her strength and mobility. We feel that she received excellent medical and therapeutic attention, which allowed her to return ready to resume independent living. She’s doing awesome!

This place is a joke. My wife had to get a mri there, the girl at admission couldnt even figure out how to print the forms. Then the older lady in the radiology window slammed it shut because my wife asked her a question. So after all this my wife finally gets changed, behind a curtain, goes for the test, and supposedly has a panic attack. Apparently my ass, if these idiots new anything, they would have known my wife suffers from seizures, but apparently these morons cant read a chart, or tell when something is wrong with someone. To top it all of, no nurse or doctor ever came to check on my wife. They said after all this happened that she could leave. This place is a joke, and a filthy mess. Hell youd be better dealing with so guy that operates out of his van. At least its sterile.

I was brought here back in November to be cleared as mentally stable as asked for by the police that found me walking back from getting food. I wont disagree that I have mental health issues, but i have support systems in place before heading in. The only reason tjat i was admitted to the mental care floor was cause i had expressed my concern about missing classes being in the hospital. Because of this concern they admitted me under an involuntary hold and were perscribing me medications that were unreasonable in doses and that my primary care doctor had already decided that i did not need. It is only cause my doctor literally drove 8 hours across the state and theatened a malpractice suit that i was released.But not all of the staff there are bad, the aids i had during my stay were excellent and actually cared about my condition and were proud that I had supports in place before being admitted. For this reason alone they are getting 2 stars.

Dont waste your time with this place, your way better off going somewhere that actually has staff.

The few times Ive had to take loved ones to this ER, Ive been entirely unimpressed. The staff are rude and act as though youve committed some great offense by coming into the emergency room and interrupting their day. For a hospital, the place is filthy. I admit, Ive never been to any other area of the hospital other than the ER, but when youre confronted by rudeness and filth as soon as you enter the building it certainly doesnt make a good impression. If you can make it the short distance down the road to St. Vincent, I recommend going there first: its clean, quick, and the staff are fantastic. Millcreek would do well to model themselves after a hospital like that.

I was in their Emergency Department for a double ear infection & fever after being treated by an urgent care doctor for strep throat and was feeling worse instead of better. The receptionist was rude and impersonal to me during the check-in process, and also on the phone when I called for a question about my new prescription. She made me feel as if I were stupid, my pain was invalidated, and I was irritating her with my questions. The doctor was more personable but hurried, and the medical student with her was rough with my ears when she took a second look for herself. The treatment room itself felt like a thrown together cubicle, and the waiting room was outdated and grungy. For all the new shine and glitz on the outside of the hospital, the ER is still the same old unfriendly, run-down place we all know it to be. I wont be back, God-willing.

This place was terrible the guys and girl nurse were nice but the dr. Lady their is literally border line mentally challenged that or had a stick up her butt so far she spits bark and leaves I got treated like a seeker when my foot was a freakin balloon and they give me I ibprophen I can get that at the store and you guys not giving pain meds to people who actually need it are terrible I told them I ice and heat it alternate tylenol and ibprophen and it doesnt help and this is how they approach that its a joke whoever worked the 13th of may as a dr. And your a women find a new profession or go to the bathroom take that tampon on out and come back with a clearer head and better attitude

This is the worst hospital in erie, no professionalism, kinda rude people, their second or third shift is not professional and they leave u in a little corner where u can hear other peoples issues and thats not right, they need to send their corporate people on a undercover visit so they can see exactly what they reviews say and they will believe it, i wouldnt want to go there if they paid me to!! My family has received excellent care from Dr. Baney at the Waterford office. The office staff is friendly and provides a professional and caring atmosphere for their patients. We are always able to get a timely appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Baney and the Millcreek Health System.

Terrible. Wife had to sit in pain for 20min puking in front of everyone so they can triage in front of the world. Took 15mins to even be seen. Wouldnt let my dog go there

Extremely unprofessional with their interviewing and hiring process. Interviewed and was told I would hear back within 2 weeks and when I did not hear I called HR on the Monday of week 3. I left a message and did not receive a response. Called again the next week and once again left a message and again received no response. Does not return calls and does not even send a letter.

I recently had an EGD at MCH and received the news that there was a tumor in my esophagus. The staff there was extremely supportive and caring. They immediately began assisting me in making arrangements to see a specialist in Pittsburgh. The staff there really went above and beyond to help me with a difficult situation.

Sitting in Millcreek Community Hospital ER right now, came here only because visit was non emergent and figured it would be quicker than AHN or UPMC, there are literally flying ants crawling all over the floor!!!

Falsifies medical documents when they make mistakes. Absolutely horrible people and horrible doctors that do not stand behind their work. Litigation it is.

90% of the staff I encounteted were rude. Went to the snack bar..staff were having a conversation between each other and made it quite obvioys that I was interuppting. Asked for a menu and the girl rudely said its by the cash register..she couldnt be botheted to bring one to me. I ordeted a grilled cheese and she rolled her eyes. When she threw it in front if me I said thank you.. no response from her at all. My mother broke her hip, when they trsnferred her to her room from the ER the 3rd shift nurse was quite rude and abrupt, she was extremely rough getting her into bed and didnt even realize my mother was screaming in pain because she layed her on the broken hip

ER grossly misdiagnosed my husband. Got a proper diagnosis elsewhere and required urgent surgery on his arm. Nothing found at Millcreek ER and did not even have a specialist look at it. He was just sent home.

This hospital is a complete joke!!!! Red flag is when for one, you dont see many patients in the emergency room and secondly the pediatric behavioral health staff are rude and disrespectful to the parents... They do not listen to your concerns, they will cut you off and hang up on you!! I will NEVER seek them for help for my child again!! These nurses need to be patients there their damn selves!!!! They are very unprofessional and they need to be FIRED!! If you have mental health issues, this is NOT the place to go!!!!! Oh another thing, that hospital is filthy and disgusting...

Night staff on the 3rd floor are lazy rude and one almost gave me someone elses medication thank god I caught it in time. This nurse purposely takes her time to bring me my medication. I will be filing a complaint.

If I could have put zero stars I would. They allow their staff to sit on their phones and come in drunk on a daily basis But they let go people who honestly work and do their job!? Pathetic this place is dirty filthy, and theyre going to end up with a lawsuit with how poorly they treat their patients! No one does their job 100% its all half assed people who Im shocked can even be allowed to work there. The inpatient rehab unit is a joke!!! My pregnant girlfriend was poorly attended to if at all, ignored and barely fed for a week. The doctors refuse to listen at all, and treated her like dirt. This place has been a run diwn hell hole since the 80s, i dont know how its still open a side from local owners or investers keeping it open as a butcher shop.

Horrible place I wouldnt take a dead fish to this hospital, doctor in ICU didnt want to hear my moms health history then when I asked to have her moved to another hospital telling me I need to pay before that happends. Waited for shift change and had no issue getting g her transfered. They almost killed her. And then lied about what happend in the first place to put my mom in the ICU, luckily I got her out of that death trap! I wouldnt recommend this hospital to anyone unless your looking to die.

It was A great experience for me there. I thought I was going to be there 4 1 week. But was not there 4 one week. Was only there 4 4 hours. They Did not think it was nothing serious. Just need my counselor 2 talk 2 at corry counseling in corry PA. And my psychiatrist to talk 2 about suicidal thoughts and other problems I was having on 6-15-2016 . Wanted to take my own life because I did not had the right clearances to work with kids At a VBS program at the church. And the 7 deaths in my family at the time got to me. Also my psychiatrist and my nurse at corry counseling was not happy I admitted myself there. First I called crisis services. But crisis services. Was not able to take me. So my cast worker said at corry counseling 2 like call 911 to admitted myself there. And also my psychiatrist gave me more dosage of my abilify. To make sure I dont come back to that place ever again. And them thoughts of taking my own life is history since I am now on A different dosage of abilify. And its helping me very well to not do things like that. It gives me allot of focus on whats going on around me. And all of that kind of stuff. I am A nice guy when I am on meds but without it I am not very nice I am very depressed and have anxietys :-( . Well that hospital is great just that I want to stay away from it because my nurse and psychitrist was not happy with me when I admitted myself. And my counselor recommends me doing things to relax and go for my hobbies that I like do to so I dont go back there ever again. The staff rules there ;-) . But need to make sure I like have A posetive additude and not let anything get the best of me. Of what the laws are in the state of pennsylvania. And just role with it from now on. The worst experiencia in my life never going to operation there in my life i got there at 9 am and they put me in a room until 12 then put me in the side of the nurses like for 45 minutes they were operatin a women with the door open everybody in and out they took me into the room started puting the stuff on me and i was stiill awake after that when i woke up i saw when she was pulling the tube out of my mouth like she was so mad they took me to the room and told me go home i was like crazy with that anestesia they didnt wait the two hours to see if i was ok then the doctor said to the fam that he couldnt do the biopsy and when my fam ask he said he didnt know that he will talk when i go to the office really that is the worst experiencia in my life never going back

Horrible. A 93-year-old relative was scheduled for surgery at 9:30 am. She traveled an hour to get to Millcreek, was on time but was laid on an old and uncomfortable bed to wait FOUR HOURS until the operating room was ready for her (apparently they had a back up). She was very uncomfortable and had not eaten since before midnight the night before. The waiting room was filled with people and had only very uncomfortable chairs. It was a miserable experience. Nobody apologized or even acted like it was unusual.

I called to get transfered to my friends room,and i got transfered 5 times and they still couldnt get me to his room.
