Absolutely awesome place! One of my dogs is pretty sensitive and nervous about new people, but he had no problem his first day! Went right in, no fears. Prices are great and my dogs come home completely exhausted and need at least a full day of napping to get their energy back. Highly recommend!

Claim to call/email for deposit. Have no evidence other than 1 missed call. Filled our spot within an hour of the 1 and only call. Then of course we magically get the email showing the cancellation. Very very unprofessional. Unless you are preferred client you get bumped a week before our vacation. Had a reservation for almost a month.

I cant recommend this place enough. My Simba is very active, and most weekdays he is content with a morning walk and afternoon run, but I know that he has way more energy stored up than he gets out. I discovered Rocky Hill Ranch when I first moved here a year and a half ago, and always put Simba there when Im out of town, and he also goes once a week for camp. He comes home exhausted from playing outside with all the other puppers. I am also an over protective puppy mom and call everyday while I am away, and they always answer my questions and put my worries to sleep. He is sleeping off the daycamps activities now actually, snoring and dreaming happy puppy dreams. Simba would love to make friends with your puppy, head on over to Rocky Hill!

Our dogs love this place! We have a couple of very active pups and they go once a week to burn off energy and socialize. My life is never more peaceful than the day after a trip to Rocky Hill when theyre still tired enough to spend all hours napping instead of running. Its also a great value- less expensive than any other doggie daycare I know. Great staff and lots of doggie pictures on Facebook every day.

I bring my pups here twice a week. My pups are so excited to get there that they start whinnying the minute I pull out on to County Road 3. The office staff knows their names, and mine the minute we walk into the facility, and take great care greeting the pups in with all their other fur friends. When I go to pick them up, again the staff knows who we are and usually has my dogs ready to go home for me. My pups are so exhausted from a fun filled day of play, and usually are out the rest of the night for me and majority of the next day.

I really wanted to like this place. It was referred by a friend and their website looks great. I called them and things seemed like they were in order with one exception: I wanted to board both my dogs in the same kennel to reduce their anxiety because they support each other. I was told that my dogs (20 and 70 lbs) would go into a small and a medium kennel. If there was a large one available they could both be in it, but if another customer came along with a large (80+lb) dog, they would have to go back into separate kennels. This made no sense: why wouldnt they jump at the chance to get two dogs worth of payment for one kennel of lodging? I asked to speak to the owner. Today, 5 days later, the owner called me back. He said that he couldnt do this for me but that if I paid a $250 one-time fee, I could always board the dogs together. This was delivered with the tone of a used-car salesman telling me that all the extra charges for options I didnt want were for my own good, making the hackles on the back of my neck rise. So he wants me to pay extra for an arrangement that already lets him make more money - the equivalent of a weeks boarding? I am coming to believe that - no matter how nice the staff - the owner only cares about making money, not his customers or his dogs. Time to find another place.

I have been bringing my pups to rocky hill ranch for 3 years now, and absolutely love this place. EXCELLENT!!! We have tried several dog day care places, and this one is the BEST. Not only is the facility large, with lots of knowledgeable staff, its clean, convenient, and very well kept up. My two dogs love it there. Additionally, the staff informed me of an injury that my dog had suffered before I brought him in one day, that I had failed to notice, and thank goodness they did. I really appreciate all the care and attention my doggos receive at Rocky Hill.

I can not say enough amazing things about Rocky Hill. My doodle has been going here two times a week for over two years and loves it. Not only do they have the most wonderful dog loving staff who are super kind to my pup, but Tucker has never experienced an illness or an altercation with another dog during his time here. We have used Rocky Hill for both Daycare and Boarding and I cant imagine taking him to any other place. They provide a HUGE space for all the dogs to play and let them just be dogs. I can offer my strongest recommendation!

This was the first time we’ve used Rocky Hill Ranch. We were a bit nervous going in as our little guy is only 10lbs among some much larger dogs. But as we come to find out, they all got along and our dog absolutely loved it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the prices are great. They also take pictures everyday and post them on their social media sites. We have another vaca coming up soon. A huge relief knowing we have an amazing place for our Arthur to stay. Thanks RHR!

The staff seems overwhelmed and understaffed which doesn’t sound like a safe place for my dog to go to. I tried to come and just see the place with my dog but they acted like it was such an inconvenience for me even being there when I could be a potential life long customer. Definitely need more staff, better customer service and just be slightly friendly. They were so rude to me. I wanted to love this place. It’s a great concept but I think if you’re boarding your dog in Erie go to Bowhaus it’s a much friendly place with much better customer service!

I love Rocky Hill Ranch. The employees care about the dogs and do a great job of taking care of them when they are there. I take my three dogs for daycare a few days a week and they love it, and I love it because they are good and tired at the end of the day. I have two small dogs who go and have a blast. I also had my mastiff going there, I love that there are not breed restrictions. I have nothing but good things to say about RH! It is a dogs paradise!

We consider Rocky Hill Ranch a part of the extended family that has helped raise our Blue Tick. They let dogs be dogs, and that sometimes includes us getting her back dirty and having gotten to chase some delivery trucks down the fence along Cty Rd 3 and even some scrapes like shes gotten from being... a dog. Shes excited every time we drop her off and shes tired and happy every time we pick her up. Highly, highly recommended for their care of our girl.

I love dropping Branch off here (large Lab)! The staff is friendly (they remembered Branch after the first visit), they maintain a massive indoor / outdoor run (acres!), they understand dogs, and the price is excellent. Branchs tail starts wagging the moment he realizes which driveway were turning into, and he comes home exhausted, calm, and happy to rest (young Labrador!). I wish I could send him every day!

Calvin is super shy and hesitant and absolutely came out of his shell thanks to the great staff and friendly dogs that go to Rocky Hill Ranch. Kayla (our other puppy) literally pulls me to the front door as she bolts to go inside and play! Both dogs have gone since they were 4 months old and absolutely love when we go out of town so they get to go on their vacation to Rocky Hill Ranch. Staff is super friendly and a lot of times you can even see photos of your pups on Facebook while you are away. Great value with great people and dogs!

Update: Be very concerned about your pets safety. Read the other reviews carefully and do not support a place like this. Dog fights, open wounds, poor feeding... yikes. Run away. The people were nice, but a few things scared me to death. I personally could never leave my dog there as safety is my number one concern. I encourage you to do a facility visit and make your own judgment. We received prompt emails from the team. They even worked with us regarding our scheduling and seemed like nice people overall. We toured the facility and that is where I got scared about the idea of leaving my dog there. Rocky Hill claims to have a 15 dog per one person ratio as required by Colorado Dog Day Car laws. That day they claimed to have 50 or so dogs, but there were only three caretakers (no - the 4th was not on lunch lunch break). The facility also claimed that on some days 80+ (!!!) dogs are located in the two fenced in areas. We also heard that is it kind of impossible to clean up all of the dog feces as it happens, but they do cleanups a few times a day. When asked about dog fights they said that is how dogs communicate and when I asked them how they would break up a dog fight they said they might throw a chair at them or something. YIKES! We also talked to our training facility (not Rocky Hill) after this and they were familiar with a dog who had bit another dog once, twice and then they were going to give him a third chance at day care at Rocky Hill. To me it seemed like too much chaos or potential for mistakes with so many dogs (80+) on a facility this size. I hope others who may have had issues voice their experiences and prospective clients evaluate the facility closely and on their own terms. Sorry for the negative review Rocky Hill, everyone seemed nice but I felt compelled to voice my concerns so others can make informed decisions.

I used to really like this place, but Im guessing the fact that they are a little bit less expensive than some of the high priced Boulder alternatives, they have become very popular and seem to be busting-to-over capacity these days. The last three times we have picked her up from RH, she has been tired to the point of concern. I think its totally normal for a dog to be tired for a day after a 5 day or week long stay boarding. But, in all the dogs Ive owned, I have never seen a dog sleep almost solidly for two days straight with almost no vibrancy or desire to do anything else. This past time, each paw had ripped pads - one bleeding. After picking her up this last time, my dog went from my car to limping and unable to normally walk around our backyard to go to the bathroom. I had first thought she busted a hip the way she was walking, but then lifted her paws to find all the soar pads. All I could think was there there was no way the boarding staff did not notice this limping before I picked her up. They did let me know that she had diarrhea the day before I got her. Also previous to this visit, our dog has come home and almost immediately been diagnosed with Giardia. We are suspecting she may have it again as she has all the symptoms. This coupled with the fact we caught her eating poop in our backyard this morning - something she was not doing before going to board this last time (so we suspect she is picking up this habit while boarding - hence the Giardia.) I would love to see this place improve, and I know some folks still love it, but weve had one too many not great experiences with RH and wont be going back. Anyone else have any of the experiences we have listed above?

We (my dog and I) absolutely LOVE Rocky Hill Ranch. The people are just wonderful. They knew my dog even after I had only brought her once and really care about all the pups. I am a very protective (possibly obnoxious) mom and everyone here is great with putting up with my questions/requests and always giving me updates on how she did and what friends she made. I also love that they post pictures on Facebook, so I can see how much fun she had during the day :) I wouldnt trust my dog with ANYONE else, truly. We live kind of far away, but I would drive out here any day for this wonderful place. Im so grateful for Rocky Hill and the wonderful people there. Thanks for making my trips less stressful when I cant take my babyboobear with me.

My wife dropped off our dogs there this morning for an interview to see if they could stay at the kennel while we are out of town. WAY too many dogs for the limited staff they have to watch there. Our littlest dog fell into a hole that another dog had dug and hurt himself so badly that he cant put any pressure or weight on his foot now. I would be VERY careful to take your pets to this establishment...
