I have been dealing with headaches for years and now I get them almost everyday. I decided to see Dr. Stephanie and so glad I did. She did some x-rays and found out I have degeneration in my neck which could be causing my headaches. I have seen her twice already and feel so much better. Where do I begin. My husband was looking desperately for me to find a doctor who could help me. I have had multiple injuries to my back and I have arthritis, fibromyalgia, TMJ, I cant take pain medicine as the side effects are worse than the pain. I have been suffering with pain. I couldnt walk long enough without pain to even go grocery shopping. BUT, he came across the Neck and Back Center and thought maybe they can help. He made an appointment for me and I have to admit I was doubtful as no one had ever helped me in the past. I now have to eat crow. I went to the appointment and Dr. Daniel Maybee was the doctor I saw. Let me tell you he is a GODSEND. Dr Dan listened to my story and he believed me. He started my treatments right then and there. I cant tell you the difference he has made in my life. I am starting to sleep at night which I havent done in years in bed. I would always have to sleep in my recliner. I can feel the muscles at the base of my head which I havent been able to fell for better than 15 years. I am know getting a wider range of motion out of my neck and my back is not hurting me constantly. I honestly cant say enough about Dr. Dan. He is the answer to this womans prayers. Dr. Curt Bannister has done a wonderful job of helping me cope long-term with all of these things, and even enabled my orthopedic doctor to indefinitely delay what was once an impending hip operation.I also bring my autistic son to the office for treatment, when it is needed, and they are all very patient with him.The office hours are convenient, including night and weekend availability. They send text reminders to my phone a day in advance, which is always an appreciated perk. They also work closely with my insurance companies, so that I dont have to spend my time making sure my services are covered.Maybe best of all, they offer massage therapy services from some of the best in town, at great prices. (Ask for Eric! Hes the man.)I recommend the Neck and Back Center for anything from a slight crick in your neck to full corrective and therapeutic services following an accident.

I went here after not having seen a Chiropractor for three years. I was having migraines everyday and missed work multiple times because of a pulled muscle in my back. One visit dropped my migrains from everyday to once in a while and I havent pulled that back muscle since. The doctor is very knowledgeable and appointments/adjustments are quick! I typically see Dr. Bannister every 6 months for just a routine alignment check up. His staff is always friendly and welcoming and I appreciate their flexible schedule with evening hours and Saturdays. I can always find a quick and convenient appointment. I have only seen the other chiropractor, Dr. Coursen, for treatment once due to some scheduling conflicts. I prefer the style of Dr. Bannister when it comes to treatment methods. I have been a patient for about 2+ years.

I had never been to a chiropractor in my life before, but was experiencing extreme and debilitating pain for nearly week after some traveling. I tried everything - ice, heat, several prescription pain meds and nothing helped. I called Neck and Back Center and they scheduled me to come in same day. I went in and the doctor talked to me for a bit about the possible main cause, my habits and my activity in general. He gave me some advice on prevention and then did an adjustment. I did feel very minor relief that day but was a little disappointed. However, I woke up the next morning feeling like a new person and had only minor pain. I was only in Erie to visit family, but if I lived there, I would have definitely made another appointment as recommended and would likely have continued with regular visits. Definitely recommend.

After struggling with neck and back pain I decided I needed to see a chiropractor. I was referred to Dr. Bannister by a friend and Im so glad I went to see him. For years I had trouble with headaches and stiff and sore neck. My lower back was constantly a site for pain. I wasnt able to turn my head without discomfort, and I was depending on pain medication for relief. After 3 visits with Dr. Bannister Im feeling much better, my pain is gone most days, my neck has full motion again and I havent had a headache since. That alone is a blessing. I wish i would have went there much sooner. The staff is very polite and professional, Dr. Bannister is thorough and explains procedures as he goes so you are completely relaxed. The staff here are great! I have long been an advocate of chiropractic care ever since I had my first visit several years ago in Oklahoma. I moved back here a year ago and twisted my back when trying to get my car unstuck in the snow this last winter. I had to put up with the pain and stiffness for about 5 months because I had no insurance. When I finally got insurance, this was the first office I tried. The staff was very welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Dr. Bannister talked with me and listened to what was ailing me. He fixed my back and I was pain free when I left the office! His bedside manner is gentle, but he gets the job done. Highly recommended!

When I began seeing Dr. Coursen in March of 2020, I was suffering from chronic lower back pain, migraines from a previous neck surgery, and pain in my wrists and arms from carpel tunnel. I was prescribed various types of pain medications that masked my pain at best but never took it fully away. In 3 short months, due to Dr. Coursens expertise, wisdom, and adjustments I have not had one migraine. I no longer have to receive steroid shots in my hands for the carpel tunnel. My lower back pain is now under control and I can enjoy activities like hiking that I have otherwise not been able to engage in for the last 3 years. Had some pretty bad neck pain, very hard to turn my head side to side and hurt sitting up in bed in the morning. They got me an appointment the next day and within a few visits I was pain free! The entire staff was very nice and made the whole process that much better. I had rib, chest, and back pain that had been getting unbearable for the last few months. GP was no help, so I made an appointment here. After ONE adjustment, the pain is almost completely gone! I have been going to Neck and Back Center since 2011. I have not found more friendlier, more knowledgeable, more caring chiropractors in all of my years and I have been to many. In 1991 I had 2 back surgeries which have resulted in fusing 15 inches of my spine and I was also in a car accident in March 2005, I was not been able to get around well since the accident until I met these doctors. I also could not squat but having been with them for 5 years I CAN SQUAT!!! I can get around so much better than I could before. Dr Coursen and her husband Dr Bannister are truly amazing people, they are more than just chiropractors, they actually care about their patients. They go above and beyond their titles, they are real people with real hearts! They want to make sure that you are pleased, happy and feeling well no matter what. Ive only gone here a few times so far, My very 1st day I was there was about 30 to 45mins long but it didnt seem that long, I went in filled out paperwork for first time patient, got called back talked to the lady whos been there I believe 23 years I wanna say she took xrays to see what she was working with n what was wrong. She did so many different numerous things that day that my back didnt hurt till towards the time being of me having to go back. She works fast but is good at what she does. Her front desk who check you in and out are very nice and understanding also they do payment agreements with you if you cant afford an appointment. Another thing is is that they dont tell you to find somewhere else to go for an appointment if you reschedule more then once or miss more then one payment. Theyre very easy going and all nice an poliet very clean and fast workers.

Every time I need an adjustment, both Drs are easily available and give the perfect adjusting. Thank you for being so knowledgeable and knowing exactly what I need each visit. You guys are awesome and true helpers to the hurting!!!

After 3 years of back pain for an unknown reason, the Neck and Back Center of Erie was able to finally figure out why my back had been in excruciating pain. We have made incredible progress on my mobility and everyday living. As a mom of two children under 3, I have to be available to my children every day, even when my back pain is unbearable. The staff has helped me regain my physical ability to play with my kids and care for them all day without pain. With a friendly staff and caring doctors, this office is a blessing every time I go.

The office as a whole is wonderful, from the minute you walk in right down to the treatment you receive. I see Doctor Bannister and he found the source of my pain and eased it in one appointment. Him and his employees are some of the most genuine people youll meet!

I woke up one morning and could barely walk and was in terrible pain. I really did not want to go to the emergency hospital because I knew that they would prescribe me a bunch of painkillers which I do not want to be on, and doesnt cure the problem. I took a chance first to go and see Dr. Bannister. Wow!!!! All I can say is I am soooo happy and glad that I did that first. He and his staff took me in right away. Within the first two treatments I was able to walk around so much better. He knew right away what was wrong with me and help me to walk again. I cannot thank him and his very kind staff enough! My diagnosis is two things that I can do surgery or cortisone shots. Both of those will not last long time, but what Dr. Bannister is saving me from having to have to do those things and I still can move around so much better now! If you are thinking of going to a chiropractor please try them first you wont regret it!

I first visited Dr. Coursen for help with neck and shoulder pain. I am very active, working out 5-6 days a week. Within 2 weeks I went from being in pain and unable to exercise, to being pain free and able to exercise. I highly recommend Dr. Coursen and the Neck and Back Center. Absolutely Amazing!!! I had an appointment yesterday and shortly after leaving, I didnt need to use my cane because I had WAY less pain from the arthritis in my KNEE!!! I had no idea chiropractic care would help my knee!!! And I was able to walk, stand, and shop for a few hours this evening without using my cane and its a cold day in Erie today... 25 degrees. Im usually in bed with tremendous pain on cold days... Thank you, Dr. Bannister!!!

I was training for a marathon when during a run I had a sudden and intense pain in my hip. I could not run and feared I would have to cancel the race. I went to see Dr Bannister, and after several sessions of massage and alignment, I was able to run again and complete the race.

I have been a patient at the Neck and Back Center for years. I love the way the staff and doctors treat me. The treatments I receive from them help me to do day to day activities. I wouldnt go anywhere else. I would and have recommended family/friends to visit the center for any chiropractic care they may need.

Wonderful chiropractic care, great service, always friendly and accommodating. Dr. Coursen utilizes trigger point therapy, which I find less aggressive and more beneficial than other forms of chiropractic manipulation. I wont go anywhere else!
