ALL of the staff are kind and respectful. Never a long wait. I was reluctant to even try to begin fighting this, but, with the encouragement of Dr Hussain and my family and friend, I did. Between the Erie Hillman Cancer Center and Shadyside cancer Center.. Theyre beating the leukemia down! Thank you to All of the staff and Dr Hussain from Hillman in Erie and Dr Farah from Hillman in Pittsburgh

The building is modern but inviting. I cannot believe how friendly the staff is. This was my very first visit and everybody was nice and accommodating. They told me where the washrooms are and there was free coffee and a couple of televisions in the waiting room. They were on different stations - not just news or sports. There was a puzzel in the waiting room. Unfortunately, I was unable to work on it as there is no light above the table and it was still dark when I arrived.I think the lightning will be great during the day as the puzzle is located in front of the big windows from where you can see nearby traffic and the shopping mall on the other side of the street. There is ample free parking.

I am completely blown away with how unprofessional and how awful this place is. We have had nothing but issues. We were just told that a metastatic cancer that my father had spread to another part of his body, However the doctor said it was there last scan but “he thought it was benign so he never mentioned it” UNREAL!!!! No way ever should that have been a thought considering the cancer has been very agressive and no way ever should we have not been told about it the first time it was spotted!! Not to mention when we found out this news it was from a very clueless nurse who could not answer our questions!! A day later there was a voicemail from the doctor leaving the details of how he didn’t mention a mass last scan because he didn’t think it was of any concern!i am so saddened by this! No ones loved ones would ever ever have to experience this!!! Also Getting a return phone call to discuss options or treatments has been a nightmare also, We have been begging for return calls and nothing at all. We also were scheduled for bloodwork and a scan at RCC and somehow the scan was missed and wasn’t scheduled. After begging and waiting for 2 hours it was moved to the hospital and my family was told that things were crazy there, they were short staffed and the were currently looking for a manger for their practice!!!!!! I am so sad by all this, As of the metastatic cancer diagnosis isn’t enough now I feel like we have healthcare professionals” who could care less about my father!!!!

Dr. Seastone has treated my mother for a few years for a reoccurrence of breast cancer. Recently she went to an appointment she had scheduled with him and when she arrived they told her she would be seeing a tech. The tech came in and told her her cancer had spread. My mother asked what the plan moving forward was and the tech said she would have to discuss with Dr. Seastone. No indication of how bad this could be for her, no comforting to say it was treatable and she shouldnt worry, no other information at all. My mother asked that the doctor call her to discuss and he cant be bothered. She has called several times to try to talk to him or the tech and they will only put her through to the doctors nurses voice mail. If you have the option to go somewhere else, I would recommend that you do.

Most staff are nice. Amy, the receptionist, is quite horrible to deal with. Makes it impossible to follow-up on your care. I feel defeated as it is having to go to such a facility, but the added stress of dealing with such a nasty receptionist only makes it worse. I need to go to this place for care, but have decided I am done with this place. Its not worth the hassle to deal with Amy, the receptionist. I feel more sick having to try to call the place, not knowing the kind of attitude Ill get from her next. :(

Unfortunate to see how the scheduling department is always too busy to answer a phone call. I highly recommend that you try somewhere out of Erie.

I have been going to the RCC since July of 2011. I have found everyone there to be pleasant and willing to go the extra mile to take care of my needs. All the receptionists especially Amy, are very courteous and expedient. If anyone gets a different view of the service, perhaps it is a reflection of their own state of mind while interacting with them.See newest photo, from 10/26/2020. Social distancing not easy to find in the limited size waiting area. Had 10:15am appointment so got there at 10am. Didnt get called till 11am and Dr isnt even there on Mondays!!! WtH is up with that? Was told system automatically schedules me with Dr and PA even though only seeing PA SMH. Old layout and system a year ago was much more patient friendly.

The staff at the ERIE REGIONAL CANCER CENTER are positively the best medical professionals to be around. They truly care about your well being and give constant care on your road to recovery. What is important to know is they want to know what you are doing each day to maintain your energy to defeat the cancer attacking you. They give you the support to achieve this. I cannot say enough about each and everyone of them. Dr Figuera, Dr Marsh, Radiation therapy technicians, Lynn, Bob, Sean, and the others there. The lab technicians, the social workers Ann Marie, etcAll wonderful professionalls.MSGT LEROY G FOSTER USAF RETIRED

My father received an overdose of radiation which has caused serious harm to his prostate and body. He has been hospitalized so many times since having the radiation due to excessive burns that affected his bladder and many more surgeries. He now wears a constant catheter and is hospitalized now for additional issues related to the excessive burns. I would not trust them with my body.

Patient was vaping in the waiting area. Mentioned it to staff who pretended I never said a word. What the hell? Literally this is a cancer center.
