Diane McShanes Hair Salon is amazing. I went on a reccondation from a friend. Mercades applied the best balayage Ive ever had! And she gave me the perfect cut to accentuate the good parts of my hair and disguise the thinning. Definitely worth the money and totally covid protected.

This was my first time here and after having my hair chopped at another salon Rose was very friendly and I love what she did to fix my bad haircut. I’m definitely going back and would 100 percent recommend this place

I would not recommend this place for the simple fact that I had asked for a balayage and came out with terrible, terrible, patchy highlights. I’m a mom of two under two and wanted to finally feel better about myself and this had only made me feel worse, I went home and instantly dyed my hair back to my natural color. I was super dissatisfied

THE BEST salon. And Diane McShane is so experienced as well as up to date on new hairstyles and the most recent ways to cut. They are fairly priced for what you get why pay 30 at a low grade quickie walk in when you can spend 10 more to get a professional cut?The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the salon itself is clean and wel laid out. They have many services too not just cuts. They also have a great selection of products which again are fairly priced. I highly recommend them and once I found this Gem I havent went anywhere else. I even waited weeks for my appt because I wouldnt let anyone touch my or my kids hair.(due to covid and vacation)Thanks again Diane!

Her salon is very clean and has hand sanitizer for everyone to use. Everyone had a face mask that covered nose and mouth. Very professional.Thank You Diane

It was super easy to get an appointment, even with relatively little notice. The atmosphere inside is fun and very friendly, and as they said, theyre definitely a big family and I felt very welcomed. I love my cut with updated bangs from Lindsey. Plus the prices are completely reasonable. Ill be going back, and would definitely recommend this salon to my friends!!

I have been going to Diane McShanes for years! Lindsay always listen to what I want and executes it flawlessly. The whole staff is knowledgeable and up with current trends and styles. I take my 2 year old daughter and as she said that was not bad, that was very nice. Highly recommend for a great cut, color and special occasion styles

Great for an updo for special events. Makeup wasn’t great, but wasn’t bad. Would not recommend for a balayage. Color turns out nice, but the technique is not the greatest. Turns out more as frosted or spliced.Pricing is fair for styling, but for the color/cut it was outrageous (especially when I already had a balayage)

I desperately needed a cut after the hack job I got at Great Clips. Loved the staff. Loved my stylist. Couldnt recommend it enough. I went in looking like Jimmy Neutron and came out looking classy AF.

This is by far one of the BEST salons I have ever been to. The staff were so nice and made such a huge effort to get me an appointment with a short notice. Melissa did a beautiful balayage and cut, and I never had a stylist ask me so many detailed questions about the exact way I wanted my hair. It was also clear to see that everyone loved their jobs and it showed through their amazing work :). Will forsure be back again!

What a terrific salon. It feels like a family, where your big sister tells you that your hair is too long and you need a cut badly. I would not trust my short hair cut to be handled by anyone other than Diane. In over 25 years she has never given me a cowlick or snipped an ear. I do not use many products, but those I take home are top-of-the-line. Thanks, Diane and Staff!

I grew up in Erie and I have had my hair done at Diane McShanes since my wedding ten years ago. Since that time, I have lived in four different states and still wait to come home to get my hair cut and colored by Lindsay. She knows exactly what I mean when I cannot even describe it myself! It is worth my current 6 hour drive to have my done and talk with her during my visit!
